I have multiple apple ids. I want only one. How can I do this?

I live in two countries and can't download anything as it seems I am always in the wrong country.... This is complicated by my having multiple apple ids. When trying to reduce this to one, I lost all my previously bought apps. Never mind. However it seems that I have not yet achieved this..... And now to boot I am unable to buy anymore apps as I appear to always be on the wrong country. How can this be?
As I have spent MANY hours on this, I am happy to start again, and if I continue to fail, I think I will leave apple for good.
Any patient soul willing to help?

What two countries are you living in? Are certain apps you have downloaded in one country not available in the other? The only solution I can see is to start new with a new apple ID or you can use one of e two you currently have. What do you mean "And now to boot I am unable to buy anymore apps as I appear to always be on the wrong country." This could be a problem with the firmware in which a restore may be necessary. yes you can still sync all the devices on itunes using one master itunes/appleID account.
Music:
If you want to select specific playlists for your kids, DON'T enable iTunes Match on their devices, otherwise they will get ALL the playlists on their devices (learned that the hard way)
If you have wi-fi synced enabled that should still work.
Apps:
I manually select which apps they get on their devices using itunes. It only changes when they re-sync.
Don't enable AUTO downloads on their devices for Apps or Music purchases.
Since I also have young kids using these devices:
I have restrictions setup on their devices. I don't allow them to install/delete apps, nor do I allow them to make any account changes on their devices. This way their devices stay in order and get backed up to icloud. I can easily restore their devices if I needed too.
Once in a while I will disable the restrictions so I can update all their apps.

Sorry, Apple ID's cannot be deleted or merged. All you can do is stop using an Apple ID.

It seems I have multiple Apple IDs.

It seems I have somehow gotten multiple Apple IDs. and I only have one Apple product. one is the original ID that is attached to an old email address. Well that acct keeps shutting down my icloud email. and I can't get back to it because the email acct is no longer active. How do I get back to one ID? all I can find is how to reset the password and that won't work because I can't access the old acct.

You can't, all apps are tied to the Apple ID they are purchased with and is not transferable.

Yes - I connected my phone to my computer / Itunes and went into the apps section, but from there I have no idea how to manage the push notifications. I even tryied going into itunes that is installed on my phone. I still cannot find anyplace to manage these popups. Unless you installed the ARD administration application on the computers yourselves, all they'll have is the client. The ARD admin app is not included with Macs; it must be purchased from the Mac App Store. If you did for some reason install the ARD admin app, just remove it.
