Try resetting the iPhone by just holding the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo.

The best way is to not share Apple IDs but also make sure under Settings & Messages on both devices that only one phone number is checked.

Did a bit more research on this and moving iTunes isn't enough. You will only get the iTunes library and not data like contacts, etc. You should take both computers to the apple store. They will migrate your data from one to the other for you.

What I synced my iPhone 3G S, it lost much of the music and podcasts (but not all). In iTunes on my Windows machine it shows that the phone has everything that it had on it before plus the new podcasts, playlist, and music I had tried to move to it. But, what is REALLY on the phone (i.e. that which I can access through playlists and my music/podcasts) is much less - with most of it missing. Additionally, for the new playlists I added, the playlist titles were added, but when I go to play them on my iPhone the playlist if totally empty, even when I access the iPhone's playlist when the iPhone is plugged in via iTunes it shows all the songs on the playlist. I've tried to reset the sync history, but that doesn't help. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I'm hoping there is a solution other than resetting to factory settings.

I keep my music on a portable hard drive but after the upgrade my "iTunes media folder location" had defaulted to the c:/ drive
select the actual music folder location and let your library update e- you can then sync !

How do I get iCloud music off the phone?

Actually this isn't only for the iPhone, but all of my devices. I use the iCloud service for listening to music. I understand it does not stream and it downloads the song and stores it locally on the device.
I have lots of music now stored on devices where I intended to keep them a little more lean and clean. How do I remove that music? When I click to see what is on my iPhone I see Christmas music (it's June) and stuff I haven't listened to for ages.
I love iCloud, but if there is a simple way to remove that music from my devices, I don't see it. Even a housekeeping "remove if music hasn't been played within xx days" would be nice.

They really changed game center between iOS 6 and iOS 7, with it they moved some of the options of game center. Instead of changing your nickname in the app. You have to go to settings and scroll down till you see game center. There you have to sign in before you can change the name. I was just trying to do this and just figured it out. lol

To change the account name you can do one of two things.
Create a new admin account or rename your fathers account.
To change the account name do:
Click the Apple logo on the top left, go to System preferences, then click Accounts.
Select your fathers account and change the name in the box next to it (If you have a password set it will prompt for that) Save and close. This will then change the login screen name.
To create a new account do:
System Preferences -> Accounts
Click the Lock, enter your password, click the + button to add a new account.
Once a new account is created, log of and log on as your new account.
It may change registration details shown on the licence information under your new account. but I'm not sure.
