My iPhone 4 has been recently stolen. I lodge a complaint and I started the practice to block the IMEI code in Italy.
I had the find my iPhone-application installed but it's not capable to locate my smartphone
What else can I do now? Must I inform Apple about what happened? In which way? Can they do something?
Sorry for my English, I'm Italian!

Apple can not do anything about it. If the thief has turned the phone off or wiped it, Find my iPhone will not be able to locate it. There's really nothing you can do beyond what you've done. What you should do is change all your passwords immediately!

You cannot get warranty or out of warranty service in India on a US purchased phone. The warranty on the iPhone is not international.

If your partner registered his iPhone under his support profile, he could try to login & remove the iPhone. This will stop your iMessage problem. Do so here: https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do
The other thing your partner could try is to insert his sim into an iPhone and turn off iMessage there but this maybe a little more difficult if his Samsung doesn't use a MicrSIM.

your iCloud storage isnt part of your phone, that is a back up for your phone, you have to delete things on your phone, so I recommend backing up your photos to your computer or iCloud since im sure thats whats taking up all your storage, then delete the photos on your phone and then update your phone using iTunes on your computer.

If you've wiped the device remotely then it is no longer associated.
You could also change the password for your Apple ID.

If you're talking about photo stream, only photos added to the camera roll after turning on photo stream on your phone are uploaded. Photos in the camera roll before turning it on aren't.

I suggest each user have their own Apple ID, iCloud account and purchase apps and music individually.
But if you must share the one account use the Settings app to stop syncing Contacts.
Settings > iCloud > Turn off Contacts.

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.

If all basic troubleshooting has been tried and a restore as new does not resolve, take it to Apple for evalation and possible replacement.

Leave it off, do not use it, do not connect it to power. Put it in a baggie with raw rice and place it in a cool, dry place (like a cupboard) and leave it for 5 days.
After the 5 days remove it from the bag, blow off any rice dust and connect it to your wall charger. Let it charge for at least 30 minutes and then, while it is still connected to power, reset it by holding down the power and sleep button, waiting for the Apple logo then letting go of the buttons. Might take several tries. Then fully charge it.

Hi I have updated iphone 4 to iOS 6 and also updated itunes to 10.7, now when I connect my device via usb it does not appear in itunes. Thank you. I ended up performing the Restore after I did an Update, and performing the restore solved the problem----I now have a functioning iPhone with all of my data, pics, and apps on it. Fortunately I made sure that I backed up my iPhone before I tried to update to iOS6. Man, what a headache though, and it sounds like I had it easy compared to some other horror stories I've read. I won't update my iOS on my iPhone again; i've learned my lesson. It remains to be seen whether iOS6 will be worth it :-)

I am not sure of error code, error showed when updating the phone. I think I found what was the problem thak killed two of my iphones 4's...USB 3.0. I have swiched to USB 2.0 and now restoring my phone, till now it took me over 90 min. I think it should be a warrning that this can happen, I do not know is this USB 3.0 on HP laptop issue or in general issue with USB 3.0 and iPhone. Anyhow I am not happy.
