I have my itunes account that was created on an old computer i have bought a new one and when i try and sync my phone it says it will update it with the library that is in my new computer which isn't any music. how do i get my music on the new computer?

I have my iphone that i linked with my old computer. I have since bought a new computer and when i log into my itunes account my music is not there. it is under my phone name but if i try and edit the playlist or create a cd off of my music list nothing happens. How do i get my music list back onto my main itunes page where i can edit it and create cds off of it. i have new songs that i have purchased on my phone that that if i sync my phone it will erase them. Any information that you provide will be greatly appreciated.

Before you restore the iPod from the backup that Dave had you make yu have to transfer stuff from the iPod to the computer since the backup does not contain the apps themselfes, music, synced phots and some other stuff. To see what a backup contains see:

When i try to sync my phone, it says i should get ios5.1 but will lose my data except basic settings. How do i back it all up before getting new software if it wont let me sync? I am worried about the photos.

It might be the battery, it sure sounds as though it could be. What happens if you leave it to charge, does the charging symbol show, does the battery icon show full, part full or empty at any time?

I know you can't help with my Yahoo problem, however, apparently at some time in the past I have went to the Sync and tried to figure it out on both my laptop and my desktop, because I have the long snyc key information. Copy all the content on your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes. Then go ahead and sync the iPod with your new library.

In iTunes, under the "Store" menu, you can select "Deauthorize this computer". That will remove that computer from your iTunes account and free up a spot for the new computer.
If you have already sold or wiped your previous computers, you can log into your iTunes account from the Store menu in iTunes by selecting "View My Account xxxx@xxxx". Once you are logged in, about 1/4 the way down the page it will tell you that you have "xx computers are authorized......". Beside that you have the option to deauthorize all of the connected devices. That is the only option, you will have to deauthorize all and then set up the ones you want to use.
I think 10 is the maximum number of devices that can sync to one iTunes account.
