I have never add rescue email, but now it's asking for it

Hello,
I'm trying to download a paid app, but App Store asking for extra security questions, that I'm not remember after 2 years from my sign up to Apple ID.
However, I've tried to reset my security questions, but I have nevertheless added an email for the rescue email. Also the email that it is displayed was not existing when I've signed up.
How should i set a new rescue email?
Note again that I haven't received any email address as the one that it is displayed in the FAQs for the reset. (Already checked my emails and I have the verification for the sign up only).

Check out the article below, to go over resetting the security questions. Like you said, if you do not have the rescue email or not getting the email, then contact iTunes Store support.

You can edit or delete your rescue email address at My Apple ID. To edit your rescue email address:
Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.  Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.

If you do not want to use passcodes, why don't you just go to Settings > General > Passcode Lock and delete the passcode and set the lock to OFF. That will eliminate the problems all together.

Try exporting a Master File with settings of Web Hosting and H.264. If it exports successfully, see if a manual upload works.

I turned my phone on this morning and instead of the pattern lock that I've been using with this phone since I purchased it, it is now asking for a PIN that I do not know.
I contacted Samsung but they told me that my carrier would be able to reset the PIN for me remotely. I've been trying to find a way to chat with Verizon support but it keeps sending me to self help troubleshooting. It was so easy to get a live person on Samsung support, how do I get a real person on Verizon?

Nothing will be deducted from your credit card if the app is free.
There will be a authorizing hold of US$1.00 to verify your account information. It will be credited back to your account later.

How can I verify the payment without the itunes gift card serial number? I have redeemed the account but now they are asking for it.

Anyone know why appleID support tells you to go to iTunes support to fix your lack of a rescue email, but the link on iTunes for support kicks you right back to appleID support? Freakin' brilliant, Apple!

So frustrated!
I am trying to access some iTunes money for my son and keep running into security questions before I can purchase on his new iPod mini for him.
So I access my appleID, and sure enough, I don't recall ever setting these questions up years ago, and apparently my answers now aren't the same as they were back when I first set up the account even if I did so.
So appleID support tells me to send a rescue email. Only I don't have that option under manage my ID. Apparently I never set one up.
So appleID support says I need to contact iTunes support to fix this lack of rescue email issue. And they provide this helpful link.
Only the iTunes page has a link for iTunes support which redirects you to ... get this ... appleID support (AKA "square one") where you just were.
Freakin' brilliant, I tell you!

No, I did not have to purchase the upgrade. But here is what I believe my
error was: earlier today, I upgraded to LR 5.6 on my laptop. Then I
upgraded to the same on my desktop, but became confused and installed it
TWICE.
Is this the reason that Adobe is asking me to license Lightroom and to come
up with a serial number? (I have my serial # from LR4, but it does not do.)
Should I try to deactivate LR 5 and then try again to upgrade to it?

Connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore via iTunes. You may have to place the iPod in Recovery mode to allow the restore.

Thank you for your reply but I sorted it out by turning my phone off and then on again and it seemed to update itself so I could put in the apple ID. However, it's really not easy to negate the iphone and change emails which is unavoidable sometimes. If anything like that happens again I now know that there is an icloud website at least. Anne

HT1212 I used If you have never synced... but it didn't work for new iPod 5... 2 times tried downloading software update for the iPod and after the download is ready nothing happens.. and no directions after the last step (no button only to Restore)

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

How do I can my rescue email address? I was asked to answer my security questions, but I forgot the answers and realized my rescue address was outdated. I tried adding alternate email addresses, but my faulty rescue address remained the same.

I tried to change my rescue address, since it is outdated, and was not receiving any of the emails from Apple to this faulty address regarding resetting my security questions.
I cannot proceed in regaining full use of my account to make purchases if I do not reset my security questions, and I cannot reset them without receiving such an email, and I have no idea how to change my rescue email. The Apple ID support section of this site was unfortunately unhelpful and led me in circles.
Please help me to change my rescue email address!
If it helps, a few months ago I changed my primary account email, and my old primary address is my faulty rescue address now. It is no longer on my list of addresses but continues to show up as my rescue address.
An additional portion of my question: Is it possible, if I terminate one Apple ID, to move purchases made on that ID, to a new ID? I'm not sure if it's a violation of the terms and conditions if DO NOT keep the purchases on two accounts simultaneously.

How to reset your Apple ID security questions.
Go to appleid.apple.com, click on the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'.
Log in with your Apple ID and password. (If you have forgotten your Apple ID password, go to iforgot.apple.com first to reset your password with a password recovery email)
Go to the Password & Security section on the left side, and click on the link underneath the security questions that says 'Forgot your answers? Send reset security info email to [email]'. This will generate an automated e-mail that will allow you to reset your security questions.
If that doesn't work, or if there is no rescue email link available, then click on 'Temporary Support PIN' that is in the bottom left side, and generate a 4-digit PIN for the Apple Account Security Advisor you will be contacting later.
Next, go to https://getsupport.apple.com
(If you see a message that says 'There are no products registered to this Apple ID, simply click on 'See all products and services')
Choose 'More Products & Services', then 'Apple ID'.
A new page will open.
