They sell iPhones at Verizon Stores. You might want to vist one and have them explain the plans and what you obligation would be with the different options.
Of course if you plan to order tonight it may be too late to visit a store.

I need some help. I recently won an iphone 5 in a customer survey. Could not believe my luck . That was mid March 2013. I have never used any apple products before. Today I want to get out my old Nokia E5 and go from there. I have attended two workshops at an apple retail store at Charlestown Square, they were not very helpful, everyone at the workshop had ipads, i was the only one with an iphone. The battery , once fully charged does not last 24 HRS, this morning for example - was 100% charged, made a 2 min local phone call , at completion of call , battery displayed 80%. By lunch time it was displaying 56%, i had not used the phone at all ! i don't understand it! Tracy, first you should restart the iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo. This process could solve some of your problems. Also make sure you have the latest update, go into our settings>general>software update. On the wifi issue try restarting your router, if you are still having problems try resetting your network settings, go into your settings>general>reset then tap reset network settings.
The battery issues seems normal, the battery will not last 24 hours.

HELP!!! I bought two new phones from Verizon stores for Christmas presents and can't activate either one. When I try to go on-line I get a message that the activations can't be processed.
When I try to call, I get a message that they have Activation support for today but long hold times (understandable) and the automated system keeps hanging up on me (not understandable).
Any hints on how to talk to someone and get these working today?

Go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and provide the password (if using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID ("email sign in") you want to use.

I'm sorry, had you already pointed out the rules which stated that lines from 2 separate accounts were eligible??? I don't see anywhere in the advertisement specifically stating that lines from 2 separate accounts would be eligible, so THAT is not what's advertised, either.
As far as I know Verizon's BOGO offers have ALWAYS been for lines on the same account. Possibly someone could chime in where they have received this offer on 2 separate accounts? The ONLY exception to this was someone getting the offer with 2 eligible lines on their account, reactivating the old phone on one of the lines and then giving one of the new phones to someone on another account.

i have just updated my apps for my macbook pro withe the app store, and found a update for codebox which i have never bought, what is more strange is when i pressed update and the sign in box opened `[email protected]` was already entred in to the sign in. what and more so WHO is this, am i being hacked.

They stopped making that model four years ago. There is no way it is two months old. Trying connecting it to a computer with iTuens via a USB cable to see if you can re-install the firmware.

It sounds like you are unable to turn on Wi-Fi because the option is grayed out in Settings. Use these steps from the following article named:
iOS: Wi-Fi settings grayed out or dim

Restart your iOS device.
Make sure that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
Make sure that your device is using the latest software. To do so, connect your device to your computer and check for updates in iTunes.
If you still can't turn Wi-Fi on, please contact Apple for support and service options. If you can turn Wi-Fi on but are experiencing other issues with Wi-Fi, please see these steps.

HT1212 Please help! My Ipod wont connect to Itunes and has a thing I have never seen on the screen before.

When I plug in my Ipod touch it has a symbol on it saying connect to Itunes. When I connect it to Itunes it says I need to unlock my Ipod before I can connect to Itunes but my Ipod touch wont even let me put a code in, it just has that symbol. I tried uninstalling Itunes and restarting the computer then installing Itunes again but nothing changed. I have never heard of this before so I don't know what to do!

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Why would you not be syncing to your computer regularly?
If there is no backup, then you will likely lose everything.
The iphone is designed to be synced regularly.

The other day I upgraded to the latest ios7, and after I did that, the App Store says that I have never purchased or downloaded any apps, and that I have never deleted any. This is annoying because I have spent a fair bit of money on games which I played, but now I want back, but can't get them back unless I buy them again!
If anyone could give me some help as to what to do so that I can re-download my purchased apps, then it would be much appreciated!

You must use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase to re download for free.
