* If the menu bar is hidden then press F10 or hold down the Alt key, that should make the "Menu Bar" appear
* Go to "View > Toolbars" and check-mark "Menu Bar" with a click on it if you want to make that permanent

Generally it is not possible to download anything from a web site when using an iPhone, so if you were just using Safari, you probably didn't actually download the track but just played it from the web site. If you used some other app, tell us what app and someone may be able to provide further assistance.

My toolbar has completely disappeared. I still have the back arrows on the far left, but everything else is just ... gone. I've tried stopping Firefox and restarting several times, but nothing is changing. All the toolbars are checked in the view menu.

You can only sync with one computer. When you synced to the new computer it would have erased it and synced what was on the new computer.
You always need to have a backup, an iPhone is not a storage device.
When you get a new computer you need to transfer your library before syncing
If you don't have a backup you may be out of luck
The only thing would be if you're in the US and have access to the iCloud beta to reload purchases

My firefox toolbar disappeared and I can't do what the solutions say because I don't have a back arrow, file button, tool button, bookmark button, help button, or navagation bar, so how do I get my toolbar back?

How do I restore my firefox toolbar? It was my main toolbar. My other one is google. And then another site tried to install a toolbar that I did not want. When I unchecked to get rid of it, apparently I unchecked the firefox toolbar by accident. I don't know if that's what happened for sure, but I'm guessing that's what happened.

I have downloaded pixlr 3x, where did it go, for that matter, where do any of my downloads go?

I am new to firefox- when I download an app or add on, pixlr, for example, it says that firefox must be restarted. When I restart, I have no idea where to find my app/add ons. How do I get to my downloads?

Are you able to open the downloads window, using Ctrl + J, or the menu. Do you then see downloaded files within it ?
If you want to try it out left click your own avatar image and use the save option, that will download the image, and it will appear almost instantly in your download window, (it is a very small file) . Then open the downloads window and right click the avatar file and use the open containing folder.
If you then try to download another file something similar should happen. If what you are doing is adding an add-on, then that should automatically install, although it may need a restart. Use '''Firefox button -> Add-ons''' to open the addons manager tab, and look in the '''Extensions tab''' for a newly installed Add-on.

I used to have iDVD... where did it go?!

I have a Powerbook G4 that I bought a little over two years ago. Last Fall I upgraded to Panther, and very recently I had hard drive problems and ended up reinstalling OS X several times, finally replacing my hard drive all together.
I know I had iDVD before, although I'm not sure of the version, and now that my Powerbook is back up and running, I don't have it anymore. I didn't buy it separately or as a software package, so I'm really confused as to how I got it in the first place, and how I can get it back.

If you're running a Mac and iPhoto that meets the requirements for iCloud and Photo Stream you can set iPhoto to automatically import all photo stream pics into the iPhoto LIbrary by setting the preferences as shown below:

Sorry, but the regular Internet standards compliant protocols POP, IMAP and SMTP used in Thunderbird and other email clients don't offer any form of recall.
Certain closed or proprietary systems do allow recall, but they aren't using POP, IMAP and SMTP. Even in MS Exchange, it works only for internal messages. Once a message has passed out onto the Internet it becomes un-recallable.

Delete key usually goes back wards.
Two finger swipe goes backwards/forwards with trackpad.
If you right (control) click in the tool bar area you can restore defaults or customize tool bar.

Why have I lost my BACK arrow on Safari?

I am running OS 10.6.8 and Safari 5.1.9 and all of a sudden I have no BACK arrow on any Safari page. The only way I can go BACK is to go up to History and select BACK. Any idea why this has happened?

Try this. Click on View in the menu bar and select Customize Toolbar. Then drag the Default Set on to the tool bar space at the top of the Safari page.

Where did my wedding photos go? Vanished when I split even - HELP!

I split an event in order to have enough room to burn photos on a CD ....when I went back to the split event of the photos I did not copy, the photo's were gone! The thumbnails were missing and the photos were missing. I see a gray square were the thumbnails should be and when I enlarge I see a black and white !.
I rebuilt the photo library several times and also rebuilt it through iphoto library manager....the photo's still have not appeared.
Where did they go?

How did you split the Event? Did you do it using iPhoto for from the Finder? If the latter then that's why you're getting the "!", a sign that iPhoto has lost the file path to the original files.
You may have to result to the following:
Creating a new library while preserving the Events from the original library.
Move the existing library folder to the desktop.
Open the library package like this.
Launch iPhoto and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
Drag the Originals folder from the iPhoto Library on the desktop into the open iPhoto window.
This will create a new library with the same Events as the original library if you have the Finder checkbox unchecked in the Events preference pane.
Then with some manipulating you might be able to get the original library back.
1 - open the original library and delete all of the "problem" photos by dragging them to iPhoto's trash and emptying it. Keep it to batches of 100 or less.
2 - open the new library, locate the "missing" photos and export to folders on the Desktop.
3 - open the original library and import the folders with the "missing" photos. '
Hopefully this will keep your organization for the library, keywords, etc. and recover those missing photos.
