that would probably be caused by a Theme, and Extension, or a Style, you can check that ouit quickly by testing in safe mode (one time restart of firefox)
* "Alt+H": (Help) > "Restart with Add-ons disabled", do NOT click on any of the checkmarks as they will destroy data.
If you have scrollbar there you need to isolate the problem
If only one one site, there are a lot of creative web designers who think if you have a wide screen they should make use of all of the width.
Meanwhile other methods of scrolling up and down.
* mouse wheel
* "SpaceBar" (PageDn), "Shift+SpaceBar" (PageUp)

Firefox and other browsers only temporarily displays the contents. The actual content, settings etc. are stored at the email site. So you may have to change the email settings to display the contacts list on the left. The email support/forum would be helpful. On the other hand, if there is a display problem/error, you can reset Firefox and start afresh.
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.

In OBIEE I have an issue where the negative measure values in a horizontal bar chart are displayed on the left and overlap with the Y axis values, how do I force these values to be displayed on the right or in the bar itself ? It should not be overlapped. If you are using horizontal bar then 0 will come in center. It should show structure like:

Desktop appearance problem: For no apparent reason my Mac running OSX 10.4.11 imposed a mesh-like pattern over the folders on my desktop and also across the top of the screen and down the right-hand side where I have the dock. How do I remove it?

For no apparent reason my Mac (2 GHz PowerPC G5) running 10.4.11 has put a mesh-like pattern over the folders on my desktop and also a band of the same pattern across the top of the screen and down the right-hand side over the dock. (See screen grabs below.)
It doesn't affect any operations but makes folder names and drop-down menus difficult to read through the pattern.
I'm not aware of changing any settings so suspect I must have clicked on something without noticing. How do I get rid of the overlaid pattern, please?

Does it happen when you reply to an email? If so, it might be that there's content in the original email (like an image or something similar) that overflows the window content, therefore the Mail app, when you hit the border, follows the content below instead of going on a new line. You might wanna try that.

I have checked you site on the phone and it seems that Zak is correct.
Please go to the phone layout and make sure there is no element out side the browser area at the right side.
You can simply do Select All to find if anything is outside the browser area. If you find anything you either need to delete it or you need to bring it in the browser area.
If still an issue please share he muse file with us and we will investigate it further.

Thanks. I don't know why it wouldn't just go back there when I tried putting it back? I didn't change anything, so I assumed the new "default" was over on the left. Glad it was a simple solution after all.

Why can't i see the Toolbox - the support documents talk about a toolbox but I don't have anything on the right hand side of my editor.

I can't find the toolbox on the right hand side of the editor. ANy ideas why??

I haven't seen this documented anywhere, and I can't replicate it for Administrator / Partner users of BC sites, but the toolbox does get closed (by default?) for some users in some circumstances.
To get it back, you'll need to click the 'Add Modules' button, which is on the page editor between the "Page Content" heading, and the WYSWIG editor window.
