I have no bar which shows the words import. How can I get my favorites moved over or do i have to just keep going back to explorer to get them. I did the auto set up to move them but cant find them on any tool bar

i downloaded firefox and said to import my favorites and stuff from my qwest homepage and can't find them . I have no tool box on any of my pages that I can drop down that says import. not on my old homepage or the firefox page. Help, i dont want to have to keep going back and forth

You can usually find the imported IE Favorites in a folder ("From Internet Explorer") at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu folder (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks).
If you can't find them in the "From Internet Explorer" folder then try this:
* Export the favorites in IE to an HTML file (bookmarks.html): File > Import and Export
* Import the HTML file in Firefox: Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML: From File

When I loginto a certain web site it just keeps going back to the login page. It works on IE but not Firefox. There is some setting I must have that is stopping the logon.

Many thanks for your help on this. The instructions provided with the tv box were typically difficult to follow perhaps because Apple try to cover all languages etc. I also found the control on my iPad that pulls from the bottom of the screen and allows the iPad to control the tv. I keep getting the itunes update message and when I accept the terms and conditions it just keeps going back to tell me I have 3 updates itunes, safari and icloud and goes back to accept message without actually downloading?

What is going on with itunes update? I keep getting the message that updates are available for itunes, safari and icloud, but when I accept the terms and conditions and the install 3 items message, it keeps going back to telling me there are 3 updates available and have to accept terms and conditions again without it ever installing!! I am using a PC with windows vista. Have not had this problem till December when I got an ipad and had icloud installed, don't know if there is a connection.

I can't offer any help but it soulds like Apple goofed with the latest update. Many of us have the same problem. I may wait a week or so to see if Apple responds.

if u had added the photo in the ipod
then do this ( step 1 , step 2),
step 1 : Go on the setting -> main menu -> and select photos
step 2 : Then go on main menu (not in the setting) & go on photos ,
then u can view the pics in ur ipod
if u do not have added the pics in the ipod
then do this (STEP 3 TO 6) ,
step 3 : Goto itune
step 4 : Click on left side icon of ur ipod
step 5 : Click on photos(or picture) on right-top side
step 6 : Browse the folder in which ur selected photos r
and click on sync. on the right-bottom corner.
After these 4 steps use above 2 steps in same order

The bookmarks sidebar will not show bookmarks. Even if I import them or restore them. In the menu bar they show up fine. How can this be fixed?

If I open the bookmark's sidebar it's empty. If I use the Menu Bar, the bookmarks are all there. I tried importing them from Internet Explorer but they still do not show up on the sidebar. I also tried restoring but they still don't show in the sidebar. After restoring and importing, I now see 3 bookmarks but that's all. I also am unable to delete those 3 bookmarks as "delete" is grayed out. Also, if I try to bookmark a page through the bookmarks in the menu bar, and I want to select a different folder, I can only see 5 items down, where as before I could choose if I wanted to save the bookmark in an existing folder of my creation which was further down. Is there a way to fix this?

hello Cronus, you might have to expand the default entries (toolbar, menu, unsorted) in your sidebar first before you get to your actual bookmarks/folders.
otherwise please try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once, to rule out the interference of any addons: [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]]
in order to specify the exact path of a newly created bookmark click on the arrow at the right side of the folder field as shown in the screenshot attached.
