I have no chat ability on a member ship site

I belong to a membership site and have cannot use the chat buttons.
The button is usually green and let me see who of my friends is online and I can select each of my friends by selecting a green button from a drop down menu in the same box.I can manually select that I'm offline, online or away.
The button is red until I select and go to another site page. But it turns red again after 2 seconds and switches automatically to me being visibly offline for others to see and myself.If I open the box and select online it automatically switches back to offline.
I am fine to any other tools on this website including private msgs forum posts etc...
I just cannot chat.
- I don't have that problem when using IE8
- I don't have that problem when using GC

PS It would be nice to find a solution to the problem but it's not the end of the world for me if I can't chat :-)

I think between us we have worked out it is not a software issue as it works for you on a couple of browsers.
I have checked and I am using the same version of Firefox as you and mine works fine.
So, in true Sherlock Holmes style, we have excluded everything else, so all that is left is the answer!
Your settings on Firefox are causing you to not be able to use chat.
Now, I do not know what the answer is but something within your settings within Firefox are causing the chat room to not work.
I will ask the guys what this might be, but its not easy to find a problem when it does not happen to us.

Not using any mouse pad, I have a very smooth desktop. But I just tried to use a sheet of A4 printing paper, but no result, the problem persisted.
Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!

Scheduling an appointment at the Genius Bar. But I have been to the store three times in the last three weeks.
To solve a different problem, the folks at the store replaced my iPhone 4S.
I came home and loaded my backup onto the new phone. Everything EXCEPT iMessage seems to be working great.
I would really appreciate any feedback...

You can do this in iCloud calendars, actually. You just can't do it directly on the device. But, if you go to icloud.com & edit the calendar event, you can select "Custom" from the dropdown for Repeat & it will let you put in "every 4 wks on saturday" or even "every 28 days." But, again, you'd have to be using iCloud & you can only do this on the website.

Strangely enough, putting my laptop into Hibernate mode solved the problem. It didn't even take a reboot.

Does she have her own iCloud account? You can have more than one iCloud account installed on a device, and some users install a secondary iCloud account which is common to others in the family to allow "Find My iPhone" to be used from one account while keeping separate iCloud contacts, mail, etc.
But with iOS 7 although you can still have multiple iCloud accounts installed, only the "primary" iCloud account supports "Find my iPhone". So if her iCloud account is the primary, you can no longer track her from your iCloud account. Is that what happened in your case?

You can try Archiving server. Archiving is the storing of IM and conferencing data in an SQL backend database. This data is not instantly readable / searchable. The Lync users are not able to read it directly. The admin can export the data using Lync powershell
and then convert it into a readable format.

I am having this problem as well. In the last week or two, my calendars haven't been syncing properly. Nothing goes updates to my main computer from the phone. Then in the last few days I could only access the internet sporadically, today not at all. No map showing in the gps, safari doesn't work, no weather... It says 'Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding'. The 3G wheel is spinning and shows that there is service.
I reset my phone completely a couple of days ago, reset history/cache, etc in settings, have turned it off and on, etc with no change.

You must be a newbie, because otherwise you would have fixed it. I don't have that mirroring problem and it must be because you are not looking around and inform yourself thoroughly. It took me also 2 days of grief before I found out how to do it. Not even to mention that the Apple Engineer that I called did not have a solution either and just suggested that I should send my Apple TV back or go to a Apple Store nearby.
I was pretty annoyed about that such a little black box was giving me grief. I have been working in the IT industry for over 30 years and I know quite a bit inside out about many hardware's. But my opinion is that sending out Version 6.0 Aka 5.1 as you rightfully say is not on with me.
This is the same behaviour that Apple now does as Microsoft forever is doing. Not finishing the products and putting it on the market or release it before it is finished and has bugs in it.
Personally this irks me and annoys me. Because I am in that field for many years and have seen what grief it causes. I have noticed that an Administrator has removed another post that I made about other matters concerning iPads and especially with iPad 3 and 4 now and that there are also other people who make inflamatory remarks to people ( Julian Wright for e.g.) about how they have to spend their money for the latest stuff of Apple and come over very aggressive, selfish, if not evil.
For your information, I used to work for Apple, I know Apple inside and how they work and what they used to do ? They were really nice for their employees and customers. But I think that has changed now for whatever reason they have. Very disappointing. It's up to Apple not to listen, I have no control of that, but it will cost them at some point.
Besides that point, I feel that some people are been taken for a ride and when I am expressing that this is not OK I should be rewarded for that instead of being rejected.

If you use Mac Mail and Microsoft Outlook mail like I do, you could switch from one to the other mail program for send photos.
iPhoto >> Preferences >> General tab >> E-mail foto's via >> select Microsoft Outlook.
Click a photo in iPhoto >> Share >> select E-mail … >> Microsoft Outlook will be launch.
