I have no email on my ipad or my iphone for some reason?
I used to be able to receive and send email messages through my ipad and iphone, but I no longer can, message box reads, unable to send or receive email because I do not have access to the 'server'. Why has this happened? And can I change things so that emails can be received and sent......

I would start with closing all open applications as outlined in the first article and power cycle the device. If the issue persists, the easiest way to troubleshoot this issue would be to delete the account and add it back to the iOS device. I have a canon printer with a mac computer. For some reason whenever I print something the ink on the page is all green not black like it should be. I put in a new black ink cartrridge but that didn't change anything.Does anyone know why this is happening?
You posted in the OS 9 & below forum. What OS X version are you using? What model Canon printer? Canon printers have a test print capability (open the Printer Utility). What happens when you do a test print? Are all the printer cartridges in their proper location? Sometimes when you print "black", the printer uses a mixture of the colors to get "black". In the Printer Utility, check the levels of the other cartridges. There may be one color that is clogged.

I have been trying to update my cc info but for some reason it has kept saying the cc info did not match with the bank info so the transaction failed every time I made an attempt to download something even it was free. Im wondering why my post hasn't been answered yet. I did file a report with the BBB and I had a rude representative from Verizon call me named Steve. He said I can file all of the reports I want and I will just keep getting calls from him. I can understand why my phone couldn't be replaced because of the small crack. I guess I have to eat that one (but it sucks because the lollipop update is what caused the problems) but what about all of the data overage I had to pay for for trying to fix this phone because of a lollipop update. I dont think it is fair to have to pay that as well. In addition, because I have an east coast phone number but live on the west coast, I cannot have tech support after 8pm. Verizon has cut this off. Im very dissatisfied and I have been a customer of Verizon for 13 years. Im hoping for a response this time.

I have deleted almost all of my text messages but for some reason my memory usage still says that i have 3.5 gb of text messages saved. How do i correct this problem?
Good luck finding the solution. I have another posting https://discussions.apple.com/message/25145839#25145839 on this exact same issue, and that is after looking on my own for the solution on the web and on Apple's forum without any luck for a real solution. Having to RESET a device every time I need to clear out old messages from memory sounds to me like an intended pain from Apple to keep pushing iPhone users to purchase additional iCloud backup plans.

HT4847 Updating my iPad without using iTunes for some reason
I have a jailbreaked iPad 2 and i wanted to remove the jailbreak so:
1st question: if i erase contents and setting, will it also remove my jailbreak?
2nd: about iCloud, when i was looking at my manage storage in iCloud, i found out that my apps were 50 kb only, will it still be an app after resetting my iPad?
3rd: about the photo stream, i had 800 photo+ in photo stream, what method should i use to get it back from my iPad after resetting it?
4th: is iCloud really backup all my apps, photo, contacts, docs. And data.... Completely and get it back completely too after resetting this?

I use my computer everyday in our office and have no issue connecting to the internet/wifi, but when my boss comes in and tries to connect it doesn't work. It tells her she has internet, but won't connect to the wifi. We've tried a few different tactics(the basic ones I've seen on here), but nothing seems to be working for us. My computer automatically connects to our wifi.
Just recently the Airport Extreme has started with the blinking amber colored light on the front, which I believe means something is wrong? Can anyone help us figure out what's going on and why we can't get my boss' computer to connect as it should?

I'm an oldtimer and have had this Mac for less than 2 yrs and have LOTS to learn - but I've climbed the curve a little. !'ve made several movies and published to YouTube and burned to disc using IDVD with reasonably good results. Each time I have added stills to my movies it has worked fine - but tonight, I'm suddenly unable to add them. I click "Photos" - select my photo - left click the photo and drag into the project while holding the click. Have the green "+" and the green highlight and even get the green vertical bar in the project but when I release the click, the photo simply disappears! One "clue" here may be this: I was able to add one still to this project and the only diff between it and the other still thumbnails now is that there is a "green check mark" on the thumbnail of the one successfully added. Any suggestions? (I do have the "advanced tools" option selected in IMovie Preferences.)

My first thoughts are
• iMovie ill behaving - Trash the iMovie pref file - use to set things right
• in reg. to Photos - Did You change iPhoto Photo Library - Then iMovie get's lost as it peeks into iPhoto on start up to see where photos are stored. Set iPhoto back to first Photo Library (when iMovie is not running) then start iMovie.

The other day I bought another ipad, and I was asked if I want to scan my computer for media. I said yes and it took all the music off my computer and put it on my itunes. Now when I connect my iphone5 to itunes it says in order to synce you must delete all itunes off of this iphone.

Last year I was successful exporting bookmarks from an XP machine to a Windows 7 Professional Toshiba laptop. I'm now trying to export from a different XP machine to a new Acer laptop with Windows 7 home premium.
The export says it completes, since it's networked, I saved the file to the C drive of the Acer. When I import to the Acer, it says the import is complete, but the exported bookmarks are not there.I am guessing last years computer was Win7 32 bit and this time you are importing to a Win7 64 bit. I remember some kind of issue there, but it really doesn't matter. All you have to do is grab the file and drop it into the Win7 directory. You can read about how here.
