I am trying to use the SAP NetWeaver 7.02 trial. Never seen SAP before. I have completed the install, but I cannot login. I can open the SAP MMC, the database manager, sql studio. But I when I open SAP Logon 720, I don't know any valid users I can use. I have tried DDIC and SAP. In fact I tried DDIC so many times, its locked. Took a long time, but I finally figured out how to go into the database and delete the SAP user for client 001. But SAP* still does not work with password PASS or pass.
Is there something obvious I have missed??? I have seen many posts that talk about running some transaction, but I am thinking that needs to be done after I logon. What do I do???
Well I could not find an exact match to the path you mentioned.
I went to \usr\sap\nsp\dvebmgs00 but there is no profile directory. I also tried \usr\sap\nsp\sys\profile and did find a nsp_dvebmgs00_sap file, but there isn't any login/no_automatic_user_sapstar.
I went ahead and added a line for it and expected it to not work. But I just tried it and I am logged in. Thanks so much for solving this!

i've only had my iPod 3rd generation nano for a little bit, but there's already problems!
first of all, the touch screen thing, I can use it in the sense that I can change the volume... so I guess the 'touch' part of it is working. But whenever I try to click it, as in to move to a different song, it won't work.
Can anyone help me?well, each corner of the ring (top, bottom, left, right) has a button on it. If you want to use these buttons, you must actually press down on the wheel, not just touch it. there should be a faint click when you push down and that corner of the wheel will actually depress slightly into the surface of the iPod.
the top corner is "MENU" (go back to the last list of options you were at), the bottom is "> ❙❙" (play/pause whatever is currently playing), the left is "⎮<<" (skip to the song that was just played), the right is ">>⎮" (skip to the song that will play next), and the button in the middle of the ring is called the center button (when you press this, whatever is selected will be activated. i.e. if Shuffle Songs was selected, a push of the center button will start shuffling.)
the click wheel also serves as a way to scroll through lists. if you move your finger gently and smoothly along the ring (you don't have to push hard at all) in a circular formation to scrool. moving around the circle clockwise (to the right) scrools down the list to the next menu item, and pushing the center button chooses that item. -

Help, i am trying to print my JPEG file that i created in photoshop at a photo lab but it is coming out like an X-ray. I have printed these files before so i have no idea what i am doing wrong.

or when i am saving the file to JPEG?Basically you're approaching this the wrong way around. What you need is the extreme sections to be quieter, not louder. The problem with moving the lower end of the audio is that you'll move the noise floor too, and get what's generally referred to as a 'pumping' effect. So what you do is to use a compressor to tame the peaks, and leave the lower level sound alone. When you've done that, you amplify (or normalize to a level you can determine) the whole signal. So the noise floor will be higher, but constant and not pumping. 'Match Volume' is a completely different tool for setting the overall levels of different tracks so that they sound approximately the same - it doesn't even begin to do what you want.
If it's music you are treating, then I'd almost certainly use the multiband compressor, because you get less artefacts with this. You need to experiment with the threshold levels, and almost certainly not use a massive compression ratio - 3:1 or 4:1 should be sufficient (although it's hard to tell without actually hearing the audio). You can tell what it's doing at any given point because the downward meter indicates how hard it's working. In theory you can apply make-up gain with it as well, but personally I leave that until everything's treated and use the 'Normalize' tool to set an absolute max level. -
Help!! First of all I am a senior and have no idea what I am doing. Turned on the Apple tv and it said downloading the lastest -cannot remember the rest.
There was a Apple symbol and a dowmload space under it. Nothing is happening. It has been about 25 minutes. What do I do??It probably did not turn itself off. It most likely went into "sleep".
Did you try to restart the Apple TV? That is what solved the problem for me.
Go to the main AppleTV menu - you might have to press the Menu button a couple of times to get there - select Settings, then Select General, scroll down to Restart and select that.
As long as you don't have a "Do not unplug" message on your screen, unplugging the power cable, waiting a minute, then plugging it back in should accomplish the same thing. I always prefer using the menu method over unplugging.
If that doesn't work, I fear you might have to contact Apple. They will likely tell you to restore your AppleTV to factory settings. That will be a pain in the neck since they will need to walk you through it. They might do that for you at an Apple store. I'm a senior citizen too, and it's easy for me to look helpless - even though I've worked in computers and networking for a very long time.

My ipad is connected to my wifi, however when i try to sign my ipad into facetime is says that it is having trouble connecting. I use my wifi to get on the internet on my iPad so i have no idea what the problem is. Help Me

- Do other devices successfully connect to the network now?
- Does you iPod successfully connect to other networks?
- Have you reset your iPod?
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Powered off and then back on your router

- If you look at the network properties on the iPod what IP address is assigned when you think you are connected but actually have no internet connection. If it starts with 169 then the iPod never connected to the router, the 169 address are self assigned. -
I have no sound alerts on my iphone5. My software is up to date. I can hear on a call but I have no text alerts, no ringtones, nothing that involves sound! Everything was okay a few hours ago. I have no idea how this happened. Please help!!
I tried the compressed air, Qtip, etc... still nothing. Called Apple again.... and we did a complete factory reset from iTunes, wiping everything out... still no sound, which proves that it is a hardward problem, under warranty, I have to have phone replaced No Apple repair centers within 300 miles of me! So... shipping phone off today. Bummer.

An odd program... or do I have no idea what I'm doing here?
I've been trying to take out some room noise from an hour and a half long talk given by a man at my university. I understand how the de-noiser works, but when I try to use it Soundtrack Pro locks up on me and crashes. I also thought to try the "Phase Analysis", but after two and a half hours I came to think it had locked up as well, although honestly "Force Quit" had not said it was not responding. However that's longer than a real time analysis would have been. These are the only things I've tried, and neither have worked. Is an hour and a half too long for SP to view, that is, should I break it into smaller pieces somehow? Is SP only good for adding smaller bits of audio to a previously assembled movie? Or am I doing something very wrong here? The format is, incidentally, a .mov that I had edited in Avid Xpress and exported with the Sorensen Squeeze attached to that, uncompressed, and is 20.24 GB in size. Thanks for your help, L
I wish I could say things were going better- by losing the video, I am able to import the audio into SP. It will then check for phase, hum, etc... but then it will only reluctantly allow me to put an EQ or noise reducer on it. If I play the audio to hear what I've done, when I stop it, the program begins to stutter. This is probably the fault of my soundcard, which is an M-Audiophile 192, not the best. Also I tried just putting the whole audio track in, not breaking it up into 10 minute bits. It's only 1.55 GB, I was hoping that could be OK, but I guess it's still too much for the program. It's not that important, the only one who cares about the quality of the sound is myself, and only just to learn SP. I'm confused about how to export the changes I have made, however. I ended up working with the audio in Logic, got it OK, and then it didn't link up to the video in Avid, like I might have guesses. These are things I'll just have to learn though- again, thanks for your help. If you have any advice I'd sure love it, either way, I'm done for now... I'll mark this as closed tomorrow after I see if you have any more. Thanks, L Mollard

Have no idea what is happening...help!!!
I must start by saying that I plugged in my iPod before I installed iTunes :S it's not syncd, so I can't put music or do anything other than just charging it! The only thing that says it's "register your iPod", I click "continue", get to the "iPod software license agreement" page and check the box with "have read and agree" but then nothing happens!
Do any of you have an idea about what must be done? Would really appreciate it

I am well aware of that, but there may be another one after agreeing to the terms and conditions. Again try changing your screen's resolution to see if that makes a difference because several users in this same situation where able to locate the Continue button after adjusting their screen's resolution.

Keychain Issue...no idea what I'm doing. Help!

I am having a little trouble with my passwords. I have 2 mail accounts on my MBP. One is my .Mac mail and the other is my POP3 mail. For the past year or so everything has been fine (and the previous 2 years on my PB) But, yesterday I was messing around using "Main Menu" application cleaning up my computer.
I have never used it before so I was just trying to make some space by removing things. Anyway, did the following things:
Clean User Cache
Clean System Cache
Empty Browser Cahe
Clean Font Cache
Remove Corrupt Preferences
Clean All Logs
Remove Temporary Files
I did all of these and just wondered if any of this would have had an affect on my Mail. I also have MSN Messenger on my laptop and iChat and when I open them I am also now prompted for my password.
I went in to the mail preferences and sure enough on both accounts the password field is blank. So I filled them in the saved them. But on reopening the preferences the passwords are gone again. Please help as it's very frustrating. I started all this after a one-2-one training session in the Apple Store yesterday. Would love some help if anyone can spare the time. I'm not sure what I did but would love to undo it. Is there anyway I can go back?
Another user said that it would be a keychain problem and that I should use first aid. I tried "Verify" forst and it did so...no problem. Then repair but it still doesnt remember my passwords. Anyone got any idea if there is a tutorial online I can check out or indeed how to set my keychain to remember my passwords. I am a fairly useless Mac user even thugh I love them.

so, i was sitting in my bed went on facebook on my ipod and than my mom came in to give me something and i got up and all i can remember is putting my ipod on my bed and coming back and freaking out, cause it wasn`t there. i searched everywhere and i can`t think of anywhere else. it has to be here, cause it can`t just walk away. sadly i don`t have icloud i never had the chance to download it. so, what else can i do? i really need it for my alarm and its how i read my emails and go online. so please help me.

Someone help! I have no idea what I am doing!
I have a 80gb iPod that we just bought from a friend. Somehow I managed to delete all the songs he had on there which was like 2,000. I'm not really worried about that. Problem is..how do I get music on my iPod from my computer? I've also tried adding music to the Library in iTunes and it has stored to the recently added list. SO in other words I just dont know what the heck to do. Now I have a Pod with nothing on it. Any advice? Thanks!

Okay, so the problem seems to be in that iTunes can't find your songs (like you said).
So let's try this:
Open up the iTunes preferences, Edit>Preferences for a PC. Click the advanced tab. Now make sure the Keep iTunes Music Folder Organized box is checked, as well as Copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library checkbox.
Click OK.
If these checkboxes weren't already checked, then iTunes will take some time to copy your library.
If you already had the checkboxes checked, and nothing happens when you click OK, click Advanced, then Consolidate Library. This will copy your library again.
If no error messages pop up during the copy, you're set. Right click the iPod (Bigdogs iPod, as yours has been named), and left click Sync.
If error messages pop up during the copying library process, complaining about not being able to find files, it means you've actually somehow moved or deleted the songs that you added to iTunes. Delete the references to the songs in question from iTunes, re-add them again and then sync the ipod over again.
