I have no imessage icon in my settings on my ipad
I do not have an imessage icon in my settings, how can I get imessage on my iPad?
You must have iOS 5.0 or later to use iMessage. Go to Settings>General>About>Version, and verify that you have iOS 5.0 or later.

Thank You!If your iPhone is already on IOS 5, then Software update can be done on your iPhone under Settings > General > Software Update.
But if your iphone's ISO is 4 or before, it can only be done through your computer iTunes. -
No fotostream icon in my settings on my ipad after re-installing everything
On my I-pad .... Settings - iCloud there is no option anymore to turm on photostream. . After many tries with password erro, my whol harddrive was swiped. i reinstalled everything with itunes on my pc. After everything was installed, I went to settings to activae fotostream, but this option was not available.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately, a number of users appear to have encountered this problem. Some of these users have reported that the problem just disappears the following day or shortly after. Other users have found various other solutions to this problem.
Firstly, are you receiving any date and time errors when you turn on your Apple TV?
Check that you are properly connected to the Internet, by ensuring that you have a proper IP address and not one starting with 169. Also check that your location for the iTunes Store is set correctly, if so you might try changing it and then changing it back.
If the problem persists try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds, or resetting it using the reset option under general. You should also try restarting your router, or if this doesn't work you might like to try a restore. -

Why don't I see the airplay icon in my settings? I have the ios7 installed now my netflix won't work as need to turn off mirroring..... And the airplay device is not installed.... Anyone help on this?.
Reboot your router. The icon only shows when connected to wifi and Apple TV or similar device. Same thing happened with my phone and the icon appeared in control center after router reboot.

Go into setting then click on general then click on about... verify wich version of IOS you have. If it's not IOS 5 that would explain the cloud issues. In wich case you need to plug it to Itunes to upgrade the IOS.

I have just connected my new apple TV and in the main menu see only two icons: computers and settings. How do I access the rest of the icons (internet, movies etc...) We do not live in the US. The unit has full WiFi access with no problems, I can access ITunes on my laptop via home sharing no problem.
Glad that this solved your problem but if you searh past threads there are a LOT of people with identical problems.
Reading through the threads my take is
There seems to be something awry with wifi chipset. Typical symptoms are initially being able to connect to connect to a Wifi network then the connection is dropped. Then you see just the 'computers' and 'settings' icons on screen
Power off, reset and factory restore doesnt seem to solve it
Occasionally its nearby antenna cables etc causing interference
One report with convincing evidence it was the HDMI cable, swapping to anotehr cable fixed the problem
Plugging in ethernet works, this is purely a wifi issue
Sometimes plugging in ethernet temporararily wakes up the wifi
Many people seem to have exchanged their units only for the same thing to happen to the new unit a few weeks later. Just wondering if its a fomponent fail or heat issue. -
