I have no inbound or text message information, outbound only

why is it that i can only veiw outbound numbers from calls made on my phone? when i called verizon i was told to TAKE MY PHONE BACK TO THE STORE I BOUGHT IT FROM".. needless to say, they told me it wasnt something they could control in their office. they just SELL the phones. so, 20.$ worth of gas and 50 HALE MARYS LATER... iam still trying to get someone to fix it to where i can view my usage, both inbound as well as out. along with text messages sent and received, i dont think that is to much to ask... does anyone know something that i can 're-set on my phone, or maybe something i am not doing right??

Is he getting your SMS messages (green) or your iMessages (blue). If SMS message, go to Settings>Messages and turn off Text Forwarding. If blue, are you sharing an Apple ID? You should each have your own.

Anyone have a problem sending text messages being delivered after few minutes up to five minutes?

Has anyone have a problem sending text messages and the messages won't get delivered after few minutes? From time to time I would have this problem and it's annoying. I would expect someone to receive it by then and response to my text right away. But when I look up the text it hasn't been delivered and it's in the process. I would hear that the message get delivered after few minutes? What gives? I never had a problem with my iphone 4 i think? Now with iOS 5 it let's me know whether it is delivered or not. This new feature is awesome but disappointing when I know my text hasn't been delivered right away. I'm not sure if it's the software or my iphone 4s or my carrier? anyone suggestions? Thanks!!

I have the same problem when sending iMessages.. Wasnt sure if it was apple or Sprint? But it happens VERY often and I end up having to send it as a text message instead

Does anyone have Ford sync allowing text messaging with IOS 7.0.4?

I had all the settings working when I was on ios 6, but now that I have upgraded it quit working. I removed the sync from my phone and removed the phone from my phone from sync then paired again. I need to update, my messaging is now working. Apparently after going through the steps and the settng notifications to on all I had to do was turn off the car, open the door, and then return. When I got in my car this morning the text messaging (recieve only) was working.

Limit text messages to contacts only

I wish there was a way to limit incoming text messages to only people in my contact list. Anyone know of a way to do this? I'm getting more spam texts and never from the same number twice so blocking the individual phone number won't help. We already have the block on "premium" messages but they are getting past that too. I'm on an iPhone if that's relevant.

Woody15, thanks for posting. Are you still having issues with your incoming text messages? Have you enable Do Not Disturb in iOS? This feature will allow you to block calls and notifications from coming in but it will not stop the arrival of the message. You can enable it by going to settings> do not disturb(turn on)> tap notifications>do not disturb. From here you can manage your settings for the feature. Now they do. I believe they have hacked my Icloud account. HT1414 I updated to new ios and i accidently hit the restore button and now i have old pictures and text messages on my phone is there anyway to get my info back on my phone that i had before the update?

I was updating to the current iso6 and forgot to click new phone in I-tunes when updating instead i clicked restore and now I have old info on my phone and all my current info is gone is there any way to get that info back.

Setting up as "new" will set the device as if it were just taken out of the box. This certainly would not restore any content that was on the device.
Sounds like what you want is to simply restore to a more recent backup. You did backup the device prior to updating correct? If you did not, it's unlikely that you can get the content back.

I can't delete a single conversation from a message, i have to delete all the message. It only happend with IOS 8.

You cannot currently do this at all.
It is all or nothing.
Reportedly this will be a feature of ios 5.

Anyone know how to receive text message as vibe only while phone ringer is still on?

I want to receive texts as vibe only while phone ringer is still on. If I select no sound for text it is completely silent and I get no warning other than to keep looking at my screen. If i turn phone ringer off, then I get vibe only texts, but I want vibe only text while ringer is still on.

iMessagel is basically an online chat kinda service. It does not use a carrier service to send text message. It only does instant messages. At least on the iPad side. iPhones are given to choise of sending via iMessage and text depending on the receiver.
