I have no share tab to share videos and get them in the right format for posting on youtube, is this because i have got the trial version, someone please help.
I cant export my movie, as there is no share tab and when i go file>share it isn't in the right format what should i do?
The trial version of FCP X is the same as the paid version - it just stops working after 30 days, so that's not your problem.
What version of FCP X is it, and what is the spec of the footage you're editing?
(Open it in QuickTime and press Cmd+I to show the spec in the Inspector, then post back with the full details or a screen grab).

i have been trying to download the newest itunes to my windows 7 computer wit the last 2 wks now... im at the stage where iv tried everting from uninstalling itunes to installing it again... can someone please help before i throw the computer out the window!
Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -

Looks like the issue is with the host file.
Please go to the location below and Open the file "Hosts", Check if there is any entry for "Adobe".
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
If yes then rename that host file to any other name.
Please Make sure you Sign out from muse and Quit Muse before following the steps above.

I own an iPod Classic. In iTunes, some podcast videos cant be played on teh iPod, so I set it to convert the video to the right format for the iPod. It used to work perfectly, but now for some reason, it doesnt convert properly! When I play the video, it is just a white screen, but the sound can be heard. Can anyone help??????
Your source video file is probably muxed.
Neither QT Pro or iTunes has the ability to successfully encode a muxed video file with audio. You'll end up with video and no audio.
See: iPod plays video but not audio of some exported files.
You'll need to use some other third-party software to do the conversion. There's a handful of software available. Just search the forums and you'll find many titles mentioned.
Try MPEG Streamclip. -
What is the right Format for Video Clips?
I have been searching for an answer to this for a while. I render animations out of my 3d program with these settings:
CCIR 601/Quantel NTSC
Pixel aspect of 720x486
Device Aspect Ratio: 1.333
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 0.9
Compression: dv/dvcpro NTSC
Rendered out as a Quicktime .mov
I put clips together in imovie and after using idvd for producing a DVD, my images are coming out sqaushed on the tv when viewed. Does any one know what Im doing wrong or what the Ideal format is for good quality using imovie, idvd, and viewed on a tv? Please help.iMovie converts all material to DV. So, if possible, output DV streams as NTSC (720x480, 29.97 fps, 48 kHz audio, flagged as 4:3 or 16:9) so you avoid re-conversions. Another option (if the 3D app can't output DV streams) is to encode similar DV codec inside a MOV wrapper.

HI! My itunes on windows 7 opens once. If i close it, then it will not open again. I then need to turn computer off and back on and it will open again, once. I have tried troubleshooting with the article 'unexpected quits, freezes or launch problems' but that did not help. I have also tried disabling the Bonjour Service. No change either. Please advise. With Firefox 11 it looks like I have been hacked but I can't tell for sure. With a right click in the browser menu there is a Volcano option at the top. I can't find and help information of this menu option. I don't dare click on it.

I am new to Using Apple. I've had my Imac for about 5 months, Recently when I log on to my Yahoo mail, if I click on any of my email, or if I try to compose an email, the color wheel turns on and it just freezes up, I am not able to view my email. If you are using web based email (accessing from Safari), from the Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Security tab.
Click: Show Cookies
Delete all Yahoo cookies.
Now from the menu bar again click Safari / Empty Cache.
Restart your Mac, launch Safari. Try Yahoo.
If the problem persists, there's a better way to access your Yahoo mail without a browser.
Launch the Mail application. Either from your Dock or Applications folder.
From the Mail menu bar click Mail / Preferences then select the Accounts tab then the Account Information tab.
Click + under the Accounts window on the left.
Type in your name, Yahoo email address and password.
Click: Create
No more having to use Safari or any browser to access your Yahoo mail. Just click the Mail icon in the Dock. -

Could someone please help me, I bought my daughter an iphone 4s for her birthday yesterday and I set it up for her so she could use it straight away, now we share emails, facetime and when i download an app she gets it too, very annoying for us both.
you can use the same apple id for purchasing apps and music if you want, but turn off automatic downloads. it may be better to have separate ones, but if you want the same app you'd have to pay twice. that's something you'll have to think about. for all the other stuff like facetime and messages and icloud you need to have separate icloud id's. see the apple link below.

Your timely response saved the day -- it was a little hairy there for a while, with .jpg files all over the desktop, but after resorting to pen and paper (still necessary at times) and recording the numbers of all files, I am now good to go.
The little green star and the bogue award of 10 points doesn't begin to convey how helpful your post, but it's all we're given (plus these words, of course).
To briefly sum up -- This morning (after the debacle last evening that started all this) I was trying to reconcile myself to the fact that my photos were lost for good and that I had only myself to blame.
Now, I have all my photos back (more than 200 hundred, some of them really kind of cool, if I do say so myself) and all are now sitting nicely in iPhoto waiting to be manipulated, edited and otherwise toyed with.

I cannot view some videos and participate in some websites since Adobe upgraded all to Flash 11.7. I have an older Mac G5 PowerPC (no Intel chip) running OS 10.5.8. I keep getting splash screens saying I have to update to Flash 11.7 but 11.7 is made for those Macs with an Intel chip. I am running the newest Flash for my system. It seems all concerned should have made Flash retro-compatible for those of us with older Macs. Is there a work around to this Flash requirement short of buying a new Mac with the Intel chip?
