I have no sound alerts on my iphone5. My software is up to date. I can hear on a call but I have no text alerts, no ringtones, nothing that involves sound! Everything was okay a few hours ago. I have no idea how this happened. Please help!!

I tried the compressed air, Qtip, etc... still nothing. Called Apple again.... and we did a complete factory reset from iTunes, wiping everything out... still no sound, which proves that it is a hardward problem, under warranty, I have to have phone replaced No Apple repair centers within 300 miles of me! So... shipping phone off today. Bummer.

I have 7600 duplicates on my itunes account. I have no idea how this happened and want to delete the duplicates en mass.
Is it possible? How would I do it?
This happened just recently.
I do have a backup on My Book that may not have the duplicates. Not sure I WANT TO GO NUCLEAR THOUGH AND DELETE ALL THE DUPLICATES.

TODDIf you've recently created a bunch of duplicates then, with the main Music playlist showing, hold down Option (Mac) or Shift (PC) and then the menu File > Display Exact Duplicates. Sort the resulting list on the Date Added field, select the range of tracks representing the recent imports which you know to be duplicates and delete.
To delete any older duplicates scattered through the library sort the list in a conventional order like Album by Artist and delete all but one copy of each cluster of identical tracks.
Normally when you delete the duplicate entries from the library you will also want to delete the underlying files, however in certain circumstances it is possible for iTunes to make two separate entries to the same physical file on your hard drive. In this case deleting the file for the one entry will break the other one. If possible try to work out which type of duplicates you have before deleting any files, and check that the remaining entries play before emptying the trash.

At some point yesterday all of my saved clips from a large project adopted the "Rejected" classification and lost the "Favorite" designation that I spent the better part of one week selecting. I have no idea how this happened, I surely did not intentionally designate all my shots as Rejects, but I'm wondering if there is any way to remove the Reject designation and recover my "Favorites"? Not that it helps, but it certainly seems there should be a warning message before FCP X does something so radical. Anyone know how can I can fix this? Thanks
Do you use Time Machine? You should be able to just go back in time on the project file, right? If you don't use Time Machine, you should. A 2 TB external USB hard drive is around $113 at Amazon.com. You just plug it in and tell Time Machine to use it and you're done.
You can Select All in the Event and then click ont he grey star next to the green star to remove the Rejected status on all clips, but that won't restore your Favorites. You need to revert your project file to a backup. -
The output sound was somehow muted and grayed so that I can't uncheck it. Any idea how this happened and how it can be undone?

I've tried my best to troubleshoot. . . opening in safe mode nothing seems to work.

I've just updated my Itunes to the newest update (iso7 I think) and now my itunes won't even open. It just jumps 2-3 times on my dock then doesn't open. I have no idea what to do , please help!
Open Finder. Go to the "Go" menu in the menu bar. Press and hold Control and click on Library. Go to "Preferences". Find a file named, "com.apple.iTunes.plist" and delete that file. This won't delete your iTunes content. It will reset iTunes. Try it again.

I am trying to download a DAW (Cubase Elements 7) it downloads almost completely 1.02GB out of 2.41GB then the download stops ...... I try to resume it but Apple tells me I don't have permission to do this..PLEASE HELP ME!!!

You can try repair permissions with Disk Utility.
Also make sure your hard drive isn't over 85% full after a full installation of Cubase Elements looking up its system requirements. -

I have an Iphone 4 13.5 GB, iOS 7.1.2. Currently when I make a call or someone calls me, I can hear people on call perfectly but sometimes they can't hear me. It maybe fine for afew mins but then sound drops again? Anyone have this problem and find a solution? Thanks.
I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

Help! I purchased 10gb of storage so that I could back up to the iCloud for the first time a couple of hours ago, but I should've bought 20 gb.

ok so I went to buy a an album on iTunes that I havnt used on the device before. It said I needed to do clarification questions but I cannot remember the answers to them.
