I have one thing in trash that won't empty. What to do?

I have a file that is the name of my desktop that is a copy of backup. Not even sure how it got there. But trash won't empty it. It's a folder of 182 items so it needs to be deleted.
How to do that?

Alberto, did you give up on me?   I think there's a major corruption now that started with iphoto corruption. Then I moved to trashing a lot of extra stuff.   Now, can't open trash because it's frozen into 'move to trash' mode. So, can't shut down my computer either since Finder is now busy with all this.
Seems my whole computer is in trouble. Thankfully I can still send these notes.
Someone out there that can help?   I need to get rid of the frozen 'moving to trash window' before anything else.

OK, I finally tried making it a TIFF in Preview, and it appeared in the iMovie photos, and it's in the movie.
But does anyone know why some pics are "reluctant" to go to the iMovie photo browser?

You can contact iTunes Customer Support on this issue. I had the same problem once & they were able to fix the problem for me. Contact them at [email protected] They will get back to you ASAP.

I have a 8+ Mb VI that won't save when in runnable condition

I have created a large VI that links to more than 40 sub VIs. I can save any changes I want to the main VI as long as it is not in runnable condition (broken run arrow). However, when I make the final change to put the VI in runnable condition and then try to save, LabVIEW stops responding. This happens whether I choose save, save as, or try to save upon closing the VI.

I also have a fairly large VI that links to many subVIs but do not run into the problem that you are describing. The following are suggestions that might help.
One suggestion that I have for you is to reduce the size of your application. I am guessing that you have several bitmaps in your front panel. You can reduce this by loading the image from file using the "Graphics and Sounds" function. This may or may not be included in your development system, depending on what you have.
One other wild guess is to change the video resolution to 16 bits or lower. I know that LabVIEW will freeze for several minutes when you try and print the front panel. It might not be related but it is worth trying.
Third option is just to wait for about 5 to 10 minutes to see if LabVIEW
would come back. I don't believe that it will but try it for giggles.
Last option is to get on the phone and talk with an Application Engineer about your problem.

Hi, as the title suggests I have an old Airport Express that I have always used wirelessly to connect to my hifi but now that I have upgraded to Yosemite it won't connect via Airport Utility 6.3.4 and Yosemite won't let me use Airport Utility 5.6 Seems I'm stuck between a rock and hard place! Ethernet is no use as the hifi is in another room. Yosemite is running on an iMac and is connected wirelessly to Virgin Broadband. Thanks, Alex.

If the AirPort Express is very old, such as the original 802.11b/g - only models A1084 or A1088 you will need a commensurately older version of both AirPort Utility and OS X to configure it. Those models were discontinued about seven years ago and support for them is gone. Ethernet won't make a difference anyway.
You may find instructions or links to web sites with instructions to modify OS X in an effort to circumvent that restriction. I cannot emphasize enough just how bad an idea that would be.
