I want to know why isn't my Skype numbers on yet when I've already paid for them it still says pending . My other two numbers I paid for before that worked

As I replied to your post on the Rates & Subscriptions message board, you need to contact Skype Customer Service directly to determine the status of your order as well has how to rectify any issues that prohibit your orders from being processed successfully.

If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service or find yourself redirected back to the Community, please try again using a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented.
Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also block reaching an agent.
Last and not least, when you reach the last step of the process, remember to click on the "Start Chat" link when you are provided the choice of visiting the Community or starting an instant message chat with a customer service agent.

  • I sent a request for my serial number 2 weeks ago and haven't gotten it! What do i do?

    Im in hight school, but i do this thing called running start, where HS students can take classes at the community college. I bought lightroom 4.1 student/teacher edition. Because its the student/teacher edition i had to request the serial number after i proved that im a student. They said the fastest way to do that was by useing my school email address, so i did, (using mine from the community collge). That was on Friday October 4th. They said it would take about 2 buisenis days for me to recieve the serial number, so i knew it probably wouldnt be till tuesday the 8th. When it got to be a week since i had sent the request, I sent an email/comment with questions on why it didnt send and what i needed to do. No responce. Its now been almost 2 weeks since i first requested my serial number and i still have not heard anything! Ugh! What can i do? Why haven't i resieved anything???

It only gives me the option of signing in and when I do that I get an error message telling me that either my user name or password for my email is incorrect; even though I have been using my correct my apple ID in the password entry area. My apple ID works for every thing else. Please, can you help in this case?

    I can't stand peremptory affirmations like "Nothing is wrong with Safari".
    Thousands of users can't be wrong (see the discussions).
    If I read you the right way, it's never software' fault, it's the user who's the culprit.

    In this very case, the fact is we can't give to "christinefromfonthill" a good solution because weren't sitting in front of her Mac.
    You give her a good advice which could, perhaps, lead to an improvement.
    But must also admit that Safari is a very slow browser compared to Firefox or Chrome.
    And you can't ignore all the problems which arose when upgrading to Lion and were related to the new build and specs of Safari 5.1.
    The best example is the apparition of "garbage type" (use of Last Resort font) when reading numerous sites. This never occured before and is the direct consequence of Safari compliance to Web Open Type. This standard prohibits the use of Type 1 Postscript Fonts and is the reason why so many people are in trouble.
    I use a Mac for more than 25 years.
    I am a very "clean" user who hates the bells and whistles of third party.
    My Mac is always up-to-date and despite all my Mac loving care, I run into some problems.
    Imagine the nightmare which can occurs for the vulgum pecus who isn't, by definition, a power user aware of all the requirements for running a System in optimal conditions.
    May be Safari is one step in advance on its time but lambda users are paying the price for it.

    If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    Doesn't hurt to call the police. 
    The SIM wasn't replaced; if it were, you wouldn't have been able to locate it.

    I hate to say this, but unless you are paying the 25 bucks you cannot back up your library to the cloud.
    All you can do is back up the items you "purchased" from Apple.

  • I upgraded my iphone 4S to ios 6 two weeks ago and yesterday when I tried to go into my App Store the only ares that I could get was Genius, Genius Categories, and Updates..can't get Apps or search in Apps. Anyone else having this issue?

    Is anyone having an issue with the App Store since upgrading to ios 5?  I have iphone 4S and upgraded two weeks ago to ios 5, and yesterday I tried to access the App Store and could only get Genius and Updates....no App Store and couldn't search or go to Catagories in App Store!

    I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
    I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more.  And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should.  On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much.  I will post a note in the app store to let them know.  I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
    I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine. 
    Starbucks app works as it should. 
    I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again.

  • The "Clear Recent History" setting under "Tools" suddenly stopped working about two weeks ago and is still not working with version 8.0. I am running Mac OX 10.6.8 on a desktop

    Until a couple of weeks ago I could clear my history under the "Tools" setting.
    Now the only way I am able to clear history is to open the history, select all, and then delete---all manually.

    I did restart in Safe Mode; however, I DID make change in the Safe Mode restart window, resetting to defaults.
    Not only did this not help, but now it is worse, as my history won't show up when I click "Show All History" so I am unable to clear history even manually.
    Did I misunderstand your suggestion? I've been using Firefox with various versions of OX 10 for years w/o such a problem, and now have so many bookmarks on Firefox that I hate to abandon the browser.
    However, I do not wish to have a permanent, unclearable history.

  • I have just bought a mac minni a week ago and noticed that it would freeze.  Apple replaced it with a new mac minni.  This minni is also freezing.  Ideas?

    I bought a mac minni about 2 weeks ago.  Had problems with the minni freezing randomly.  Had Apple troubleshoot the problem and was determined that the problem was a hardware problem.  Apple gave me a new minni.  Now I am experienceing the same problem with this minni.  I am not using an Apple mouse/keyboard and was wondering if that could be the problem.  Also I do have two external hard drives that I used.  There are no other programs that I have loaded on the minni.  What are the odds that this is another hardware problem?  Is anyone else experiencing this problem?  Could it be the keyboard/mouse?  I would not think the external hard drives should cause any problem.

    If I were you I'd take it back. On at least one occassion I had an Apple employee tell me there had been a "bad batch" - it was a battery, not a computer - and a history of previous identical failures. It happens.
    Suggest you take the keyboard and the mouse with you when you return the Mini - no doubt the Apple employee will test them too.

    Your iPhone is locked to the Orange network which is why your Iranian SIM will not work.  You will need to contact Orange in the UK to request they unlock your iPhone. It should be noted that you need to have had service, either as a monthly customer or PAYG for a minimum period of 3 months before they agree to unlock your iPhone.

  • I got a new phone and phone number two weeks ago, I like to iMessage on my macbook pro but none of my new conversations show up, I went into the preferences to change the settings so only conversations from my new number show up, but there is no change.

    If anyone can please help me, I would like to continue using iMessage on my laptop, but none of my new conversations exist only the older ones. I went into the iMessage preferences to delete my old number off the iMessage account and added my new number and email but I still don't get any new messages.     If the modem is also a router, either use the modem in bridge and run pppoe client on the TC.. that is assuming ADSL or similar eg vdsl. If it is cable service.. and the modem is a router, then bridge the TC.. go to internet page and select connect by ethernet and below that set connection sharing to bridge.
    Please tell us more about the modem if the above gives you issues.
