I had a previous problem with this with my old iphone 4 and did not realize there was an issue until it was stolen. I would like to get this straightened out just in case anything ever happens with this phone.

In order to download to your phone over the air, you need to be connected to WiFi.
It's possible the Internet connection through Verizon is not stable enough for the downlaod to begin (it is a very large download).
You might want to head over to Starbucks with your laptop for the afternoon and see if you can download it over their WiFi. -
Garamond font is turned off when I installed OS X Mavericks. I restored it but it's not showing up in Pages. How do I fix this problem?
Try opening up:
/Applications/Font Book
Scroll to the Garamont Font, then try File > Validate font
If this doesnt work, right click (or control + click) the font and select show in finder. Makes sure it is not located in the /Library/Disabled Fonts/ folder -

Thank you for the question. It sounds like you have enabled Home Sharing on your devices, but you are not seeing the option to share music. To use Home Sharing, your devices will need to be on the same network. I also have some additional suggestions to get you setup with Home Sharing.
On the computer, I find it useful to have the Sidebar enabled so that you can see the iTunes libraries that are shared:
In iTunes 11 you have the option to turn the Sidebar and the Status Bar on or off; they are off by default. To do this in the menus, go to:
Show Sidebar - Choose View > Show Sidebar (this feature will display iTunes features on the left side of the application including Library, Store, Shared, Genius, and Playlists).

Once you have that enabled, you should see the shared iTunes library in the Sidebar:

i have the ipod touch 4th generation and the screen is white, i was going to charge it and it turned white. I have tried to reset it but the apple logo will not show up and it will not turn on! i just got it for christmas... can you please help?
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. "Sounds like you guys are using the same apple id for imessage. You will need to create a separate id for you wife. OR go to settings - message - receive&send and make sure your phone number is the default for both you and yoru wife.

I have CC and while attempting Light Effects, the Light Effects Layer will appear in the layers panel, but the option bar will not appear and neither will the Properties panel. All my preferences are set correct, and my computer has a compatible video card and RAM. Please help!
I tried to delete the layer attempt again. I am in a Photoshop class, but the work is all online, so all my teacher is going to do is send me to this site. I am trying to edit a photo for this class, and without this working, i go to filter>render>light effects. the bar and panel will pop up for about 2 seconds, then disappear. How do i get the options bar and properties panel to display?I was about to suggest resetting LE from the Workspace drop-down top right corner, but if you can't see the Options Bar, I guess that is not going to happen. The normal Tool reset is grey out for LE, so it might be a case of resetting Preferences.

I made an iMovie from iPhoto pictures that both look GREAT. Watching the DVD i burned on a Playstation2 makes the pics look fuzzy. Why? how can i fix this?
MPRWhen you watch on your Mac, it is at or near HD 1920x1080 pixels (about 2 megapixels), depending on the resolution of your screen. Most photos today are 5 megapixels or greater, depending on your camera, but anything over 2 megapixels must be reduced when put in a video.
When you create a DVD, you must further reduce it to 640x480, standard definition. This is about 0.3 megapixels. iDVD will do this for you.
You can fix by creating an HD movie in iMovie. You can Share this using Share/Export Using QuickTime to an MP4 container using the h.264 codec. You can then put this movie on your PS3 using a USB thumb drive.
That should give you good resolution.

I have the mini display port cable to hdmi. When I connect I can get audio but on the video I get the display auro screen and can't get my actual display to show as that is not what shows on my display. How can I fix this?

There is a little white bar. When you have your TV connected, move the white bar to the other display. Your main desktop is now the TV screen -

I'm glad iTunes is working now! If you want to locate iTunes plug-ins on your computer, you can find them in the following locations (you may not have the iTunes Plug-ins folder if you do not have plug-ins):
Mac:
/Users/username/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins/
/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins/
One thing I also wanted to mention is that the "Users/username/Library" is hidden in Lion and Mountain Lion. You can access it using these steps:

The Library folder contains files used by OS X and your apps, including your personal fonts and preferences. The Library folder is hidden. If you need to open it, make sure you are in the Finder, hold down the Option key, and then choose Go > Library.
