Given your needs this is not a problem that can be solved purely with Oracle Spatial (or even Oracle software for that matter - at least not yet). For one, Oracle Spatial is a platform for the storage, management and analysis of spatial data, however, it is not a 3D visualization platform. That said, there is a component of Oracle Application Server that does enable the direct visualization of Oracle Spatial data, call Oracle MapViewer. Thought, sadly, MapViewer is also not a 3D rendering technology today. Based on what you do have today, in Oracle10g R2, you can absolutely store and manage your 3D data, however you will not have the benefit of fully analyzing in the third dimension as that is a feature of Oracle11g Spatial (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/appdev.111/b28400/sdo_intro.htm#BABIDJJB).
That said, you do have some options when it comes to rendering your data in 3D:
- Leica Virtual Explorer (http://gi.leica-geosystems.com/LGISub1x250x0.aspx)
- ObjectFx
- Skyline Software

How to set default value to current date in Webcenter Imaging Application?

I have created an application in Webcenter Imaging and have a field called as ScanDate.
While uploading documents against that particular application, i want that ScanDate field should default to Current Date.
I tried setting the default value but it becomes a static date.
Can anyone suggest me what to do in this case?

You can't do that anyway. The default values are saved as part of the VI and a built application can not do that. Instead, you will have to do this yourself by saving the data to a file, loading it and wiring it into a local variable of the control. You can do this, for example, with the configuration file VIs or, if you want to rely on the good work that other people already did, you can go to the OpenG site and download their file package, which includes saving control values to INI files.

Do you have voice service? If you have voice service but just no cellular data service, I would suggest calling your carrier as you may just have an improperly provisioned account with them, or a bum SIM card.

How can I make a query by date with several TDMS files?

I have a project that can write and read TDMS files everyday (a file for each day with date and time). There, I can import those files to excel (I choose a file and load it). But, I have a question: How can I make a query by date with those TDMS files? I'd like make a time stamp for start date and stop date, where I could compare the TDMS file dates and sum the values that are in the channels where these files are similar. For example, I save a file with "02/01/2013" name, in other day "03/01/2013", in other day "04/01/2013"... so, i'd like put in time stamp for start date "02/01/2013" file and to stop date "04/01/2013" file, than, sum all values that range with my TDMS files existing. How can I make that?

This VI search all your TDMS in a range of dates and join them in a single TDMS. I hope this is what you wanted.
Query TDMS is the main VI. The TDMS VI Search changes the date format that out from calendar control (which is DD / MM / YYYY) to DD-MM-YYYY. This is because you can't name files using "/". I chose "-" but, if necessary, you should change to keep the same format of your TDMS files.

Need to pick the file based on current date. How to pick the above file format using file sender adapter. i.e what file pattern can we use so that file will be picked only on today's date

How to fill a prompt in webi with current date?

A webi report is being generated on BEx Query.
IN BEx query variables are defined for some date fields to prefill them with current date.
Foe ex. there is license start date. For this field variable is defined so that in variable screen License start date is automatically filled with greater than or equal to current date(which is system date). WHich is a mandatory variable.
On BO side, a webi report is being developed on a Universe (based on this BEx query).
When the webi report is run, the license start date(mandatory variable in BEx) is automatically prompted, but date is not getting prefiiled with current date.
How to prefill this prompt with current date?
the prompt should be like
LIcense start date >= <current date>

Yes, it isn't possible to reference anything like 'Current Date' in the universe (like you would with a SQL data source).
The solution I have seen recently goes like this, I don't know the exact details (so I might have some terminology wrong), but someone with ABAP skills should get what I mean.
Assuming you want to filter on 0CALDAY.
In ABAP, create a customer EXIT that calculates the current date as a number (so today might be 40651). Do the same for 0CALDAY.
In the BEx create a formula variable that references each of those, then a Formula Key Figure (I forget the exact name of them) that's just the current day number minus the 0CALDAY number. This gives you the 'age' of that row of data.
Your Webi report can then have a built in filter (or prompt with a default value) of, say Age <= 30. The report can be scheduled and will always run with the last 30 day's data.
We actually did the customer exists to show the 'age' in months.
Sorry I can't explain it any better, but it's working great for us.

I want clear slice in cube befor load data.
Example:
I export data with period Jan, Feb, so I must clear data in Essbase cube only fo period Jan, Feb. In the case when I export data for period Mar, I want clear data with period Mar.
I don't want use maxl because in a maxl script I must specify login and password.

The best way is to duplicate the KM - "IKM SQL to Hyperion Essbase (DATA)"

Now you can create an interface, set staging as "SUNOPSIS MEMORY ENGINE" and just drop the essbase dataload datastore on to the target, set the KM to the one you just updated.
Then use the calc script options, so you have an interface that does not need a source and can run CALC scripts.

Get filename from Watched folder start point

I have a watched folder as a start point and I can use the
symbols %F and %E in order to save the output documents in the Result folder.
This is easy.
What I cannot do, is getting in a string variable the same filename in order to use it within the Process:
Is it possible?
I would like to exploit this filename to discriminate the activities that the file have to make...

Instead of a setValue, I used directly a INSERT SQL activity with getDocAttribute(/process_data/@docXML, "basename") as parameter: as is, it didn't work!
As you suggest, if I put a setValue between the Watched folder startpoint and the INSERT SQL activity (now with the populated string as parameter), it works...

The start chapter button is a play the whole movie button regardless of how many other markers you have.
Once a DVD starts playing it continues to the end.
Chapters marker simply gives the viewer a place to start playback whether it be the start, middle or near the end.
