I have problems getting Adobe Download Assistant installed
I had to remove it and know i'm trying to download the try version of InDesign, but the download assistant doesn't install automatically like it should do. When the installation it's almost done a window appears saying that it needs administrator's privileges in order to complete the installation, and since i am using the administrator account i don't know why this happens.

then; since i don't have the downloader assistant, wich is supossed to install automatiacally. It start downloading
Then when the process is complete this window appears. It says: There has been found these problems: Adobe Application Manager wasn't able to install. Other times what it says is that it requires administrator's permisson or something like that, so i moved my Adobe folder to another place, to my public files. Then i try to do the same download again and now this is what the windows says. I can't do the click right on the file because there is no file. The Assistant wich I need in order to get the InDesign run file desn´t even finish installing.

Please right click on setup file and run the program as administrator. If still the same error try to enable hidden admin and install from there: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-adminis trator-account-on-windows-vista/ .

What's the problem with Adobe Downloader Assistant? It's making it impossible to download a trial version of PS 5 extended. I can see that I'm not the only one experiencing difficulties with this so........what's the story Adobe?!!!! If you don't want people to download trial versions of your products then just say so! Or do something about the problem and remove this faulty download.I have a brand new Mac,so it shouldn't be a problem. The Adobe Downloader has been extracting for 2 days now, and I can't shut it off. Very irritating!
If you are having problems with extracting it is likely that you have customized the location of your download. I would recommend downloading to your User folder or Desktop folder. When the download and extraction process are complete you can then install to your Program Files folder.

Problem w/ Adobe Download Assistant
When I start the Adobe Download Assistant, I keep getting a box that says "The following disc could not be opened" Production Premium_CS6_LS7.dmg, INVALID CHECK SUM.
It shows the download is complete and at the bottom of the screen it is extracting at a full bar, but it doesn't stop. It has been going for about 4 hours now and no end in sight?? I have even uninstalled this and it won't go away
What can I do?? I'm on a Mac with Snow Leopard OS

Please try solution 1 in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html#main_Solutio n_1 and try downloading again. I would recommend choosing the default location of the User folder when downloading the install files.

Connection problem with adobe download assistant
Hello,
I'm using windows 7 and I try to install the trial version of the Master Collection cs6.
I have download Adobe Download Assistant (multiple times) but every time I try to connect myself with my Adobe ID, it doesn't work. I can click on Connection, the action is registered by the software but nothing happen. I also can't close the software with the simple click on close, I have to use the task manager (CTRL+ALT+SUPPR).
I have already unistall my cs5 version using all the help I could find on the website (cleaner tool..).
Can you help me ?

Every time I am trying to sign into my Adobe Download Assistant it says I have an Error 100 because my account can't connect with Adobe.com.It is saying to check my connection(4 bars and direct connect) and to restart Adobe Download Assistant. How do I fix this problem?

Mac system - adobe download assistant "installing" but not opening
I have a Mac operating system and am trying to download the trial Design premium. I have done it on a PC and had no problems. It is popping up in my downloads fine and when I click on it, I have a dmg. file that lets me click it. Then it says it is "installing" but then says please wait and just closes. Nothing opened, no downloads start, nothing. I have done the refresh page thing as the website suggests, I have done it signed into my account and not signed in, nothing will work. PLEASE HELP!
Does the DMG file mount to your desktop? The installer will not launch automatically, there is no autoplay on Macintosh, so you need to initiate the installer yourself.

While trying to install the trial version of Adobe Illutratotor, i encounter the problem of adobe download assistant being unresponsive when i try to click accept or even when i try to close the program. The only way to close the program is to close it via ending its process in task manager.

I have very big problem with Adobe Download Assistant. I tried download Adobe Premier Pro CS5 trial. I downloaded ADA, and there is not a list of trials... It looks like:

I have the exact same issue with the exact same laptop and those troubleshooting documents did not help.
I double clicked ADM to install. Ran the installer. It installed and nothing happened.
Some time later I found that an error popped up and said I need Adobe AIR to run ADM. So I downloaded AIR.
I double clicked the AIR dmg and then ran "Install Adobe Air". Again nothing happened. No error windows or anything. I rebooted, made sure I wasn't missing an error window anywhere, updated my Mac (just in case) and still nothing when I double click "Install Adobe AIR". It's not listed in my Applications folder either.I did follow your two documents, because I said I followed "The Adobe AIR installer doesn't display a window when launched."

Help with downloading "Adobe Download Assistant"
Heyy,
I was downloading the free trial of Adobe Photosho CS6 and I clicked "Download Now" to get Adobe Download Assistant.
Abdobe Download Assistant shows up in my downloads folder but I can't open it, no matter how many times I click on it.
On the website, it says it would open immediately but it didn't.
My laptop is Windows Vista.
Is there another way to open this file?
Any help is appreciated,
