When I use FF 4 I have problem with my Intranet user interface, I lost the ability to acces my intranet database? So for now I go back to previous version. I hope that kind of problem can be fix soon.

I usually use FF 3.6 version to download data from my company intranet. With old FF version I can access the intranet easily. But when I upgrade to the FF 4, I lost the ability to customize the variable data I want to collect. It kind of stuck. Usually when I right click I have option what to do. with the new version my option is none. nothing change. It's frustrating. So now, I go back to previous version. You said previous version is vulnerable to phishing or virus or something but still it user friendly for me to access my company data. Please fix that bug and I'll upgrade to the newest version.

I want to add my progress about this problem. I find this problem in IE 9, but it has compatibility view, though not too perfect but quite helpful. Whereas FF 4, from article in support, said it doesn't have one. So, I beg you FF team to accommodate us who still deal with old web design so we still can use this FF 4. Please..please..please. I still believe Firefox is the best browser and I hope FF team also responsive about current problem. I think I don't have any option, but to downgrade FF to 3.6 until someone tell me how to deal with this kind of problem. Thanks.

I have problems with my itunes

I have problems with my itunes. I updated from the app store but when i tried to use it a message appeared saying that the copy of itunes is damaged and haven't been installed correctly, and that i should install itunes again, this is the number that shows with the message (-42037). The problem is that i don't know how to do it. I tried to uninstall itunes but it's not posible. So if anybody can help me i will appreciate that, because i can't listen to my music. By the way i have OSX Maverics an a macbook pro.

Will I have problems with two iTunes Accounts?

When I first bought my Mac, I didn’t have MobileMe, and therefore I used my Comcast email address in order to set up my iTunes account. I purchased several Apps, music, and iBooks under my Comcast account, however, since purchasing MobileMe, I have kept myself signed into iTunes under my MobileMe Account, and have made all purchases using my Mobileme iTunes account. Unfortunately, I know this means that I have two iTunes accounts.
For mail, I solely use MobileMe, and any email I get from Comcast, is forwarded to my MobileMe Account. When I get “App Updates” available on my iOS devices (iPhone 4S and iPad2), the “pop up” (which requires I enter my password to allow the download to begin) will be associated with either my Comcast email address, or my MobileMe address (depending upon which account I purchased the App, Music, or Book under). I do use only one single computer for backing up however.
While this hasn’t created any problems using an iTunes hard or wireless sync, I didn’t know if I will have any difficulties once migrating over to iCloud. I’m hopeful that everything works as it has. I don’t have a family account, all purchases under the Comcast and MobileMe addresses currently live locally on my iMac that I use for syncing.
Just wanted to check with you all before I migrate to iCloud, as I didn’t want to lose any of my Apps, Music or Books, nor do I want to have difficulties with App updates (e.g. problems migrating purchases to iCloud that were originally bought under my Comcast Account, or problems updating Apps when updates are available that were originally purchased under my Comcast Account).

PS: I recently updates to iOS 5, and 10.7.2!

My personal experience has been no issues with either browser, including using a secure webmail account access. If others have reported issues, I really can't comment since I haven't had any. I have used my systems extensively in Paris and Zurich, especially at the technical university in Zurich and been satisfied with my access.
Of course, if you have more than one browser installed you can easily switch between them if problems do arise...a lot to be said for options

I cannot install iTunes. It runs and then the following notification shows: "There is a problem with this windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as espected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." Please, tell me what should I do?!

Problems with AE CS5 user interface

I am having a lot of problems with my UI freezing in AE CS5. The projects are generally very small, and it seems to happen randomly.   Sometimes I will merely click on a particular window and that particular window will "white out" and I get the little Windows spinning circle. Then when I click on another window, it also whites out. Sometimes this has happened when I tried to render something.   Sometimes it happens when I try to save a project.   There seems to be no pattern. I work with a variety of media, including SD, HD and image sequences (.png).
When the UI freezes, it never unfreezes. I have to shut down the program and open it again.

Sysinternals --> Process Monitor, possibly: SourceForge --> Wireshark. If the freezes are that frequent, but (seemingly) at arbitrary intervals, it may quite well be a deeper problem. most likely you are running into some generic socket and network configuration problem. I suggest you set both apps to filter their views and logs by application and just keep an eye out for anything that blimps up in red or ornage/ yellow, stating a possible problem. It may take a while to sift through all the data, as they both produce several thousand entries in only a few seconds, but this may reveal something. Also check your BIOS for SATA and PCIe configuration. bad timing on your buses could be a major pain. I'd even go so far as to open the machine and see if all poweer connectors are sitting properly and the cards are also firmly resting in their slots. While there, also run the machine with open casing for a while to exclude cooling problems 8which lead to processor throttling).

Problem with "Creating a user interface" ex1_02

I was going through the exercise for creating a user interface for the Employee Portal and the window is not resizing at all when the window is adjusted. I thought I made a simple mistake somewhere but my code is exactly the same as the solution file which doesn't resize as well. I followed the instructions exactly as described (triple-checked) and tried running the web application in both Mozilla Firefox 6.0 and IE 8.

Are you referring to the part of the video where the browser window is resized so that the application content is not contained within the Rect component? If so, this was only shown in the video to demonstrate how the bottom of the Rect component resizes based on the browser, while the contentGroup does not resize based on browser's height.
In the finished application, you should not see the application's height collapse. However, if you expand your browser, you should see that the Rect component is still constrained to 20 pixels from the bottom of the window.

I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing issues like this. I'm basically finding that a bunch of different buttons, fields, and tabs do not respond to my clicks. This seems to be spread out throughout the application.
I've had to work around most of this by using the tab and arrow keys to navigate around modal buttons and fields... but it is a bit of a pain.
There are some parts of the interface that can't be accessed via tabs and arrow keys... for example the ActionScript Tab on the Sound Properties window... there's no way to get to that... and clicking the tab itself does nothing, although I can see that the rollover state of the tab is activated.
I've ended up having to run Flash CS6 in order to set the export classes of sound files and that's a bigger pain.
Similar UI issues exist with other things... for example the color picker (eye dropper) seems to pick colors near, but not directly under itself.
I'll be honest... I'm running on Windows 7... via boot camp... on a Mac Book Pro with retina display... so the issues could stem from this combination. However... Flash CS6 does not have any of these issues... so I can only think that it is a Flash CC issue.
I appreciate any input you can provide. ( Although the obvious "run it on OSX instead" or "just use CS6" aren't the kinds of answers I'm looking for. I have my reasons for the setup. )

No luck.
Even the first-run modal that comes up to choose Sync Settings has the same problem. All three buttons will go to a rollover state if I mouse over them... however, none of them are clickable. The only clickable item is the OS window close button. If I use the TAB key to move from button to button it moves the yellow button selector accordingly. If I press the ENTER key it responds correctly. For some reason clicking is not working on these parts of the Flash CC UI.
*Note: This does not happen with all of the Flash CC UI elements... only some key ones (Save As - Confirm Overwrite, Symbol Properties and Swap Symbol dialog boxes also do not work with clicks, only with the keyboard navigation). Really a pain in the posterior.
Again, I'm wondering if this is an issue particular to my hardware/os combination but I have had no luck finding answers online.
Any other possible solutions out there?

Have problems with transfering iTunes library from Windows to Macintosh

I had before Windows PC, where i had iTunes with all my music. And now i bought macbook pro. I tried to transfer iTunes library as it is described in a lot of sites in internet. But maximum what i could made - just to transfer all songs. And if before i have in iTunes folders with different music (David Garrett, Jason Mraz, music for baby, etc) now i have all songs (about 2 000) just in one list.
Could u help me please to transfer all music with folders like it was in iTunes in Windows PC.

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the new location of the iTunes Library.itl file in the moved iTunes folder.

I just got my macbook pro 11 have problems with setting up audio interfaces!! plz help me

So here it goes! i properly installed the drivers for my Emu tracker pre usb and for my saffire pro 40 (firewire) . Both audio interfaces show up in the system profiler under their respective category (firewire and usb bus) But i cant get them to apear in system preferences sound menu neither on logic!! my saffire pro doesnt even lock with the mix control software provided! what can be the problem ? how can i solve it ? I really need your help!!
(everything works perfect on my i mac 27" 10.6.2 snow leopard).

Apple has not updated the desktop versions of the iWork apps to use iCloud. Until they do you have to use iCloud.com in a web browser or iTunes to sync files. You could also try e-mail or DropBox.
I've gone back to saving this as a text clipping on my desktop to drag & drop into replies several times a day.
