I was having all kinds of errors with the installation of 10.5, I read about removing non factory ram. I did this and the installation worked just fine with no errors.
Except now I have a new problem where it won't recognize my user name and password. Apple has a post on how to correct this problem. I have done what they said and it does now work.
Now I am on the phone support hold line.....

Not true, most problems are with software, then with the earphone jack I quote from a letter that I recieved from a service manager that I worked with several years ago who wrote me two weeks ago and I am quoting. "Although the percentage is small it seems that if I had to put it into words I would say that software glitches seem to be the number one problem with the earphone jack a close second. Although both are not a major percentage. All in all it is a great product." Not mad,and sure that Apple will be far better off with your advice. I am sorry you are not in a position to replace the iPad. It is stating the obvious, but nothing lasts forever - especially something like an original iPad. IMHO, there is nothing you can do to address the issues you have posted about.

Problem with iWeb asking for username and password to access my public site

Today for some reason anyone trying to access my site is being asked for username and password. I have made no changes that would require a password. My site has always been public.

I am having the same problems. My site is public, I checked the settings on the public folder on MobileMe to ensure that it was public and did not require password protection either. But for some odd reason, even though I didn't change anything, my site's pages seem to require a user name and password to get into them. If one continues to click cancel, the page continues to load.
This does not happen every single time, but it happens more often than not. I have tried this with my iMac, Macbook, as well as my iPod Touch, and I get this on all machines. My brother has tried logging in from another location using his Macbook Pro, and he gets the password prompt as well.
I tried turning on password protection to the site and uploading the changes, then disabling password protection and reupping the changes once again. I've tried uploading entire site, instead of just changes, but the problem continues to persist. I definitely need this issue solved since this site is important to me.

Problems with receiving error message "This Connection is Untrusted" for any https sites. On version 17.0.1 of firefox. IE does not get error.

whenever I go to an https site, I get this error message. My other browsers are not having the same issue. I deleted cert8.db as one site suggested. Stopped using firefox due to this issue. example: www.comcast.net, once I sign into email, I get this error message. Amazon.com - same issue. So, these are very common sites. This only started in past two weeks.

Does updating to Firefox 18 (which comes out today) help? It fixed a few issues with certificates.

1. We have a package ERROR, that collects all errors/warnings. It has a procedure PUT, that saves errors in the variables of the package.

2. We have a database table. Its values are validated by a trigger (saving business rules).
If an error occurs, then the trigger calls the procedure PUT ( to save an error message).

I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to do. But perhaps this will help some. If your after-submit process runs DML that causes triggers to fire, which result in error messages to be accumulated in package variables, you could create a branch on the page that would be conditional on the existence of error messages in the package variables. The branch could be back to the same page or to a more customized error page. The page you branch to would use the error messages in the package variables to determine how to format the page with the error text. The key to doing this is to run it all in the same database session. The way to do that is to use a "direct" branch, i.e., one that does not do a URL redirect. You create this type of branch with the Create Branch wizard (Branch to Page) and do not check the "Branch to page using redirect" checkbox when you see it.
Be sure to roll back any changes you do not want committed before the branch.
Using HTML DB global package variables for anything like what you described is not supported.
