I have PS and LR but want Premier. How much more is this per month?

I don't understand how these apps are bundled. If I want Premier on top of PS and LR, how much does this cost? Do I piggyback on my existing membership? Thanks!

The subscriptions fall into 3 plans:
PS+LR (standalone special deal - no connection to other plans)
Single App subscriptions
Full Cloud
I suspect you'd either have to take out a Single App subscription for Premiere Pro on its own or a full Cloud membership (and cancel your PS+LR subscription).

As Michael suggested, your best bet would be a loan through your local/bank credit union. My bank offers unsecured personal loans up to $2500 (at 10.99%) on approved credit. That's pretty darn good, considering what it is.

Hello! I have had a very frustrating experience with Comcast customer service and billing department and my service hasn't started yet!! I am afraid I will have to cancel or opt out of your services.On Monday I contracted an online offer. Here's the screen shot of what I contracted. I tried to click on the blue letters "pricing & other info" but nothing will pop up never, so I was not able to check the "little print" that usually hides extra fees or anything. Go to your website and tell me if anyone can retrieve that info, from Chrome in my Galaxy Light phone, I couldn't. On Tuesday I receive the confirmation of my order, but the details of my bill say something different from what I contracted!! Here's a screen shot of the order confirmation. Now, as I took screenshots of the steps it took me while I was contracting the service, here's the info of what I selected. I remember I choose self installation and the cheapest shipping and handling, but I thought it wa going to be free too, as the one that was $29.00 something was the expedited shipping. Today, I needed to set up my username and password and choose the papaerless bill so at 11 am I called the number 1 855 230 4264 they said they could not help me and sent my call to other number, they helped me with the username and password and sent my call tbilling department so they could give me info about the carges on my confirmation email. The lady that picked up was super rude, first she said that I contracted the service at a comcast office, which I didn't, then she said some nonesense and ended up cutting my call and sending it to somebody else. I ask for her supervisor or manager and she told me he would be able to talk to me. Put me on hold and I had to wait more thatn 15 minutes for somebody to pick up my call again. The man that picked up, asked how was my day and since I said that I was not as good as I would wanted to, he put me on hold again and picked up 5 minutes later. By then I was very super angry >:-( but I needed to finish this matter of knowing how much do I have to pay every month, so I tried to be patient, maybe a little sarcastic at a time. He started to give explanations that were not right, cause I answered with the info that I had. Then finally he said he had the offer I purchased and that probably it was shipping and handling what i was paying for, but he couldn't say if this was going to be my monthly statement or not. He sent me to somebody else that was supposed to tell me this, but the man that picked up told me my monthly statement was going to be $54.** plus tax!! Even worse!! He didn't knew about the online offer or whatsoever. Please people!!! All I want to know is if this $60.** was a one time charge or my monthly bill. The state tax is around 10% in TN so what I expected to pay is $55.00 tops Who am I supposed to ask if neither your customer service or billing departments have the information??????? I need to sort very large Excel files and perform other operations. How much faster would this be on a MacPro rather than my MacBook Pro i7, 2.6, 15R?

I am a scientist and run my own business. Money is tight. I have some very large Excel files (~200MB) that I need to sort and perform logic operations on. I currently use a MacBookPro (i7 core, 2.6GHz, 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3) and I am thinking about buying a multicore MacPro. Some of the operations take half an hour to perform. How much faster should I expect these operations to happen on a new MacPro? Is there a significant speed advantage in the 6 core vs 4 core? Practically speaking, what are the features I should look at and what is the speed bump I should expect if I go to 32GB or 64GB? Related to this I am using a 32 bit version of Excel. Is there a 64 bit spreadsheet that I can us on a Mac that has no limit on column and row size?

It’s funny you mentioned using Activity Monitor. I use it all the time to watch when a computation cycle is finished so I can avoid a crash. I keep it up in the corner of my screen while I respond to email or work on a grant. Typically the %CPU will hang at ~100% (sometimes even saying the application is not responding in red) but will almost always complete the cycle if I let it go for 30 minutes or so. As long as I leave Excel alone while it is working it will not crash. I had not thought of using the Activity Monitor as you suggested. Also I did not realize using a 32 bit application limited me to 4GB of memory for each application. That is clearly a problem for this kind of work. Is there any work around for this? It seems like a 64-bit spreadsheet would help. I would love to use the new 64 bit Numbers but the current version limits the number of rows and columns. I tried it out on my MacBook Pro but my files don’t fit.

This may be the solution for me. I’m OK with assembling the unit you described (I’ve even etched my own boards) but feel very bad about needing to step away from Apple products. When I started computing this was the sort of thing computers were designed to do. Is there any native 64-bit spreadsheet that allows unlimited rows/columns, which will run on an Apple? Excel is only 64-bit on their machines.

I deleted all of the symantec software on my macbook, but I am getting an error message saying to run live update or reinstall. I don't know why this is happening, I heard I may still have a file but I have looked and cannot find one. How do I fix this?

I tried doing both, I couldnt find either symantec or live update in applications or when I searched through finder. I went to the activity monitor and found symantec and quit the process but the next time i logged on to my computer, it came back. this is what the error message looks like

To zoom in and out, you use a pinching motion on the screen (pinch in to zoom in; pinch put to zoom out).

Not photos, just data synced with iCloud shown in Settings>iCloud. If you don't have sufficient storage to back up to iCloud, back up to your computer instead using iTunes (connect you phone to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of your phone in iTunes, go to ths Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click Back Up Now). Also transfer your purchases to your iTunes library (connect your phone to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases). If you have photo stream photos older than 30 days tha you wan to save, save these to your camera roll before backing up (tap Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon -- box with upward facing arrow, then tap Save to Camera Roll).
When setting up your new phone, when given the option choose Restore from iTunes Backup and restore the backup you made earlier.

The MacBook's hard drive lacks the necessary hardware drivers to boot the MacBook Pro even though it has a much newer OS on it; that's why simply moving it into the Pro doesn't work. Presumably you have a very old MB Pro, because only the very first MB Pro model (produced January to May 2006) was ever offered with an 80GB hard drive. Are you sure you want to move your big drive into such an old machine? The MacBook must be newer, because the first MacBook was introduced just as the first Pro model was discontinued.

Unless you want a new computer, forget about AVCHD. It requires too much muscle to edit comfortably on anything but the fastest computer.
What camera is nice, depends on your budget. Formats that are easy to edit are HDV, DVCProHD (P2) and XDCAM. In the consumer range you could look at the Canon HV40 or XH-A1s, in the prosumer range look at the Panasonic AG-HPX170, Canon XH-H1s, JVC GY-ND250 or Sony HVR Z5 or Z7 and all Sony XDCAM cameras, especially the EX1 and EX3. In the professional range look at the Sony PDW-F355 or upward.

You buy one and only one download.
It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
Certainly you did not update your ipod without making sure that you had transferred anything purchased on the ipod to your computer and included it in your regular backup copy of your computer.

You can continue to use the current AppleID for iTunes, but your husband can create a new AppleID to use to create a new iCloud account that will be his own and not overlap with yours. If you do not have another email address to use for an AppleID, just get a free Gmail account and use that.
You can have as many AppleIDs as you want (or at least, as many as you have email addresses for). You can use a separate AppleID for the store, another for iCloud, and even another for iMessage if you wish.
You will want to keep the current one as the shared one for the store as all your previous purchases are permanently tied to it, and thus you need that AppleID to update or redownload your current purchased content.

I'm not sure how Time Capsule can be replicated onto your external drive but there is a USB port on the back of TC that can be hooked up to any recent external drive.
Another thing to think about , besides a Time Capsule failure, is the theft of your Time Capsule, so it might be a good idea to consider separating any redundant back-up from your Time Capsule or both my be stolen.
TC will back up until full and then begin deleting the oldest back-ups. Mine is a 2TB Time capsule.
My back-up plan is as follows:
1. Macbook Air back-up on Time Capsule though Time Machine backs up everything - I think it's about every 30 min or so.
2. Contacts, reminders, appointments, notes, email are backed up through iCloud.
3. iTunes and non-itunes purchased music is on iMatch (and no need to back-up) and any non-iTunes music is backed up on an HP external drive (in case Time Capsule dies)
4. Photos are on my MacBook Air and are backed up on my HP external drive.
5. Office documents (Excel, Powerpoint, Access etc) are stored in a Skydrive app (like iCloud) and Skydrive syncs these docuemnts with the MS cloud and my old PC and does not alter their native format like storing in iCloud would do.
