I have purchased iphone 4 varizone cdma from us by mistakenly so how do i use it in India?
I have by mistakenly purchased Iphone 4 on ebay.com from U.S Carrier (Verizone Wireless) which is cdma phone hence there is no sim card slot so how can i use this phone in India or what is the solution for me to use this phone on other gsm carrier.
Please help me.
The Verizon iPhone 4 cannot be used on a GSM network. You're going to need to talk to the seller on eBay and see if they'll take it back.

The iTunes Store sells songs in AAC format. Most Android phones can play AACs. Just sync them to your phone per the instructions with the phone.
If by any chance your phone does require MP3 format, you can use iTunes to convert the files, per this guide:
iTunes: How to convert a song to a different file format - Apple Support
(This conversion does not require burning.)
For future reference, note that the iTunes Store is really optimized for people using Apple devices. You might find it more convenient to buy music in Mp3 format from Amazon Digital Music or Google Play Music. -

No worries. Apple will continue to support your phone. By "discontinued", they just mean that they are not selling new ones anymore. You will still be able to get IOS7, you will still be able to get support and service, you will still be able to buy apps and music, use FaceTime, Mail, Messages.....
Nothing has changed except that you can't buy a new one....

Talked to Vodafone. They said that if my phone is indeed unlocked that theoretically I should be able to stop into one of their stores and pick up a prepaid (PAYGO) sim and it will work. The only problem is, they don't have any prepaid sims yet. Hopefully they will when I arrive there in 2 weeks. I may pick up a nano sim cutter just in case they don't.

Thanks a lotSorry, but you purchased an iPhone from a country that has requested FaceTime be removed from all iPhones sold in that country. Apple has no choice but to comply with these government requests, hence FaceTime has been removed from your phone and there is no way to activate it, regardless of where the the phone is used. If you want FaceTime, you need to sell your phone & purchase an iPhone in India.

How to restore my itunes to 5.0.1???Well, welcome to the world of "hacked" phones. If your purchase was from the US, you obviously purchased an iPhone that is locked to a US carrier. The iPhone must have been jailbroken and unlocked via software to accommodate your foreign SIM card. Now that you have updated the phone, it is locked back to the US carrier. Only the carrier can authorize Apple to unlock the iPhone and none of the US carriers will unlock the iPhones. Best suggestion is to sell the phone and obtain a factory unlocked version directly from the Apple store.
To answer your other question, there is not a supported method to downgrade iOS. -

No. The warranty is only for the country that the device was purchased in. So for example, if you need service for your phone, you would need to have someone in the US submit the device (from a US mailing address). Or, someone to take the phone into an Apple Store for you.

Jayant JoshiFacetime is permanentely disabled from all phones legitametely sold in KSA and UAE. You will not be able to get FT working even if you are out of the UAE. Contact the seller to see if they will accept the phone as a return. There is nothing anyone here can do. This is between you and the seller.

Welcome to the Support Communities!
I would suggest you transfer your iTunes purchases from the iPhone to the computer first.
Then in your iTunes library on the computer, find and remove the duplicates.
Then resync to your Nike.

I recently got a iphone 4 cdma from a reletive , which he was with verison network. His contract came to an end this feb so he was given a choice either to exchange the phone for money or keep it . So he sent it to me . So my question is whether or not, will i be able to use this phone with any indian CDMA network providers ? ( It does not have a sim trey )Since the only authorized iPhone carriers in India are all GSM, I suspect you'll have nothing but issues if you try to get a CDMA carrier, in India, to flash the phone, issues like getting iMessage or FaceTime to work, stuff like that.
If you want an iPhone to use in India, either purchase from one of the official carriers or get an officially unlocked GSM model. -

I have purchased IPhone 5S in Florida Mall when I was traveling to US from India.I bought this phone in unlocked condition. I started my phone when I came back in India. After few days (4-5 days) it started giving blue dump regularly. Then I have contacted Authorized service centre (Maple) in India (Maharashtra – New Mumbai) and then Maple checked with Apple and Apple said this phone is not under International Warranty. But when I purchased this phone form Apple Florida Mall ,I have been told by Zach McKenzie (Sales Person) that it has an international warranty and u can approach to any authorized centre in India for any issues. And that’s the reason I have bought this phone.
But now I am in big trouble so tell me how can u help me in this regards.Note this is a user forum hosted by Apple. You aren't talking to Apple here just other users.
Note that the iPhone warranty is NOT international and never has been. Your iPhone must be serviced in the country of purchase.
