I have purchased Keynote from the app store, and downloaded it, but cannot see it to install on my MacBook Air?
I have purchased Keynote from the app store to use on my MacBook Air, but I cannot find it on the computer, and so I cannot install it.
What else do I need to do?

What version of iPhoto? Of the OS? what has changed since it worked? How are you trying to open it (clicking on the icon in the Dock, double clicking on the application in the applications folder, ???)?
Anything else you can tell a total stranger who can not see you or your computer to let them assist you?

I bought garage band from the app store and downloaded it to my mac mini. When i try to open a screen comes up explaining i need to down load missing files. I do this but when try to open GB again the same thing keeps happening! Can anyone help.

In similar cases it helped to remove the GarageBand "Preferences" file from the User Library.
Open the folder
your home folder > Library > Preferences
and move the file "com.apple.garageband.plist" to the Desktop.
Then try again to launch GarageBand.

Hi. Try this: From the iTunes Store front page, scroll to the bottom of the page. In the bottom left corner there should be a flag, in this case the French flag, click it and you 'll be presented with a screen to select the correct country.

How do I purchase Keynote from the app store when it only shows "update"
I bought a Macbook Pro from my office and the Keynote program was purchased by another employee. I want my own copy, however, the App Store shows "Update" rather than "Buy App" so I cannot just buy another copy. Am I missing something? Is there another way to buy Keynote other than through the App Store (other than physically going to an Apple Store?)
Your profile shows Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard, if you want to remain in 10.6 you will need to install iWorks 09, this is available from Ebay or Amazon at a very reasonable cost.
To purchase the latest version of Keynote, you need Yosemite installed:
Log out of the Mac App Store (store > sign out)
Log in using your own Apple ID
If you don't have an Apple ID select create Apple ID from the login pane
Delete Keynote from the applications folder
in purchases tab of Mac App Store, purchase Keynote and click -

This means that at some time you had the iWork ’09 trial installed. You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user. Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

Uaually when you purchase something from the app store and it has downloaded, you see an install button. I found nothing of that nature. I have a late model 2009 mac mini with plenty of memory and plenty of disk space. What am I missing?

Can you check in your Applications Folder to see if the installer is still there. You are confused on some things, because the installer should be giving you a DOWNLOAD text on the purchases page, not install. -
I have recently purchased some apps from the app store and after downloading them, the icon that appears in the dock changes to a different icon. It is now the same icon appearing on all newly downloaded apps. Does anyone know what is happening here? Even updating an older game app resulted in the original game icon changing to the new identical icon that all new apps are appearing with. This new icon is like a page with a ruler, pencil and paintbrush. Any tips on how to stop this or how to revert to the icon as it appears on the app store would be appreciated.

This is an inconvenience, I don't understand why I have to contact the developer for a faulty product in your store.
I've paid iTunes to get this, so iTunes must fix this problem for me or give my money back.

I have purchased an app from the app store and cannot seem to download it, the download statrs and then rapidly cuts out, it will not complete and seems to repeatedly go over the same few Mb. I have previously downloaded large files and not had a problem with them.
I have tried restarting, checked my hard disk (and repaired a sector of the disk) and checked my connection but this seems to have no effect. I have also disabled virus protection and my firewall to see if this has an effect. I have also downloaded other (free) applications to test it since then and some of these download but not the larger ones. Has anybody else encountered this? Does anyone know how to solve it?Can you download large files from other places apart from the App store, wondering if it is the App store or your internet connection.
