SADLY not as i downloaded an upgrad to my original PAGES/
i have in the meantim had to open www.icloud. then from there import the file that i am working on and then check on ipad if it uploaded/ yes it did.
but what a waste of time as it doesn not save any changes done automatically back in the cloud....
i am now downloading the new LION and hope that it will fix the problem
i cant find any other way. I was lead to believe that you wrote, it saved automatically, on to the cloud, you then opened anohter device in anotother country even, and the new file was there, waiting, in its latest version.......
and the same magic was supposed to happen in reverse.

if i have to open a browser, go to www.icloud....why on earth did they not just leave us an icon to drop it in in that case?

HT1491 Just updated to the newest version of iTunes, is asking me to update to the newest version of ios; however, it says that I have purchased music that needs to sync or it will be lost during the upgrade, how do I do this!?

Just updated to the newest version of iTunes, when connecting it prompts me to update my iPhone to the newest version of IOS; however, when I hit download it says I have purchases that need to sync but where and how do I do this on the newest version? It isn't doing it automatically and I am unable to find the sync button that was available on previous versions of iTunes. I would hate to think that I'm going to lose the many purchases that I've made, someone please help!

Latley I have notices that movies in my Itunes library are "missing" from my apple TV's. I have checked under get info "type", checked show in windows explorer, but certain movies just are not in the purchased catagory on the apple tv.

Sign out of the Apple ID on the ATV and sign back in.
Honestly not sure why it matters, if they are on the computer, play them via the Computers option on the ATV to avoid streaming them over the Internet.

She can choose to either enable the setting on her iPod to Manually manage music and videos. With setting enabled she can sync content to her iPod from multiple computers without it affecting whats already stored her iPod. However, I would recommend copying whats on her iPod to her iTunes library first. There are several ways to accomplish this. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer discussing the different ways to do it.

Have purchased music through itune app on my iphone, now my iphone is dead

I have purchased music on my iphone through the iphone app, unfortunately I haven't backed it up in my itunes library on the pc, now my iphone is dead, won't even restore to factory settings, can I retrieve the music already purchased on my iphone or have I lost it all?

On my Win 7 pc, I installed latest itunes and went to the new quick link "purchased" however this only allows me to redownload apps and books,no music. Do i need to wait for IOS 5 for my iphone to enable me to download all of my lost music (as per the site this version of IOS is not scheduled for release until the fall?)
What I find puzzling, is that under my "account details" from the Itunes store on my WIN 7 PC I can see my history of purchases going back to 2005 but cannot download to my devices ?
Any suggestions ?

If not then you will need to enter your credit card details - you should be able to remove them after entering them.
If you are trying to gift content then you will need to have a credit card on your account, you can't use your balance for gifting.

TS3297 I purchased a TV show episode from iTunes and it did not load the first 2-3 minutes of the show. What do I do?

I bought an episode of Grey's Anatomy TV program. When I went to watch it, it had not downloaded the first 2 minutes or so of the episode.

Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

When I went to play music off of my phone later I noticed that the music I had purchased was on my phone but I could not play it. How can I play it?

Playlist shows in "On This iPhone" but is not actually on iPhone

iTunes 11.1.3 on MBA 2013 with 10.9.1, iPhone 5s 64GB with iOS 7.0.4.
I created a regular playlist (i.e., not a Smart or Genius playlist) and added some songs to it.
I synced the phone over USB.
In iTunes, click on the iPhone, and click the 'On This iPhone" tab. Playlist shows in the list as being on the iPhone.
Open Music app on iPhone, playlist is not listed.
Phone is set to "Sync all music" and "Entire music library." Neither "Include music videos" nor "Include voice memos" is checked, and there are none of either in the playlist. All songs on the playlist are checked (i.e., have the checkbox selected) in iTunes and "Sync only checked songs and videos" is selected.
Any ideas what might be going on? 31 GB free space remain on the phone, issue persists through multiple syncs.

Donovan, I have the exact same issue. I've tried everything I can think of, including a soft reset of the phone and nothing has worked. I have a late 2012 13" MacBook Pro, but am running Mavericks 10.9.1. Hoping someone out there has a fix!

I bought an album over a yearv ago, and some songs didn't play. for some reason I did nothing about it.
I just bought another two song ep, and it worked fine, then I updated my phone, and now one of the songs won't play!
Any body had this problem and found a way to fix it?

How do I access an external hard drive that shows up in Disk Utility but will not show up in finder or on my desktop?

I have an external hard drive that just stopped showing up one day. Is there a solution to this problem that allows me to secure the data on the drive before reformatting?

I'm having the same problem bpay14, but with a CalDigit VR2 6TB RAID0 external hard drive.
One day it was showing on my desktop, the other it wasn't. And I still didn't update my Mavericks to 10.9.3 (still with the 10.9.2).
It shows up in the disk utility, and I can even Verify the disk and Repair it (but I don't wanna start repairing
something that probably doesn't need to be repaired, so I haven't clicked the Repaid button, only the Verify button) and it says its working just fine.
But it doesn't show in the Finder or the desktop for that matter.
And even if I force disconnect the cable, I get the usual "this disk was not ejected properly" notification
presumingly the disk was mounted on the desktop and I forced eject by unppluging it...
I found a way to force open the disk, through Disk Utility that's by clicking with the right mouse button
on the disk icon, and chosing OPEN "CalDigit AFRICA 6TB"... (see picture 1)
But... after that, it open a Finder window showing all my internal and external drives, but that drive's
name is in washed grey, like if it was unmounted (see picture 2).
When selected, I can see everything and work normally on the harddrive, even opening FCPROX projects or Libraries, copying from it and writing documents into it... just normal... (see picture 3)
BUT IT DOES NOT SHOW IN THE DESKTOP...
that's my problem...
I even did a Command+i for Info on the hard drive. (see picture 4)
Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Is there anyway I can download a previously installed version of PS11 on to my new laptop, I have misplaced the windows install discs, I will be selling my old laptop so all apps will be removed before sale and the drive will be erased

I am not sure what PS11 stands for, but....
You can likely download the trial version of the software thru the site linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it. If you do not have the disks then you hopefully registered the software with Adobe so that you might find the serial number thru your online account.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site or else the download will not work properly.

I have a sync code on my Imac and Iphone but neither talks to the other Error

Have set up sync on my Imac down loaded the sync app for my phone only to have them both come up with the same screen with differant sync codes in each already present. When i go to do it manually it says that the codes are incorrect. Now what?

Syncing is from a computer to a device, not device to computer. If you want to copy it from your phone then you should be able to do so by connecting it to your computer's iTunes and using the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option. Or you might be able to redownload it on your computer's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage.
