I have quite a problem here, if anyone could help me, it's complicated.

Ok here is the situation,
I tired to buy new music on my iTunes and it said "iTunes requires Safari 4.0.3 or later to be installed to use the iTunes Store within iTunes. Use Software Update to download and install the latest version of Safari." So I went my System Update and my only update was Mas OS X Update Combined 10.5.8 so I clicked to update it and put in my password and it started to download when it stopped because it said "The update Mac OS X Update Combined can't be saved. You do not have appropriate access privileges. The Installer package has been moved to the Trash. To try again, open the package from the Finder." So I looked in my Finder and in my Trash for the installer package, and I couldn't find it anywhere. Then I decided to try and download a newer version of Safari 4.0.4 for Tiger but I couldn't because it said "You cannot install Safari on this volume. This update requires Mac OS X 10.4.11" (and I checked under the About This Mac and it said it was a 10.5.2, so why couldn't I download all this stuff?) This whole problem started when I couldn't buy new music on my iTunes, can you please help me with this whole messed up situation? Thanks, KB

The latest version of iTunes requires 10.4.11 or later. Safari requires 10.4.11 if using Tiger or 10.5.8 if using Leopard.
Apparently you have permissions issues on your system. I suggest trying the following:
Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger and Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now restart normally.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.

    I can possibly tell you What is happening but cannot tell you Why it is happening.
    What is happening is this. The applet container is trying to download the applet class file and the server is refusing to give it due to authentication/authorization failure.
    Now you figure it out why it is happening.

    Yea i tried in disk utility and its got faiiled and the partitation has deleted and when i tried  to replug the  usb  msg show up by saying  usb not compaitnle. With this mac  and  take me to disk utility  and thanks for replying

    Please do 2-3 SMC and PRAM resets back to back and retest. Also use new cables, they can go bad.

    Restart the MBP and immediately hold the option key down. Release the key when you see the Apple logo. The computer will boot and show you a screen with two hard drive icons.
    Select Recovery and hit Return.
    On the new screen, select Disk Utility and hit Return.
    In DU do this:
    In the list at the left, select the name of your hard drive. (Be sure to select the name that’s indented to the right in the list, not an item at the far left.)
    Click First Aid.
    If Disk Utility tells you the disk is about to fail, back it up and replace it. You can’t repair it.
    Click Repair Disk.
    When that is done, click Repair Permissions. Be patient!
    When that is done, quit DU and restart in the usual way.

    This is an annoying problem for many people. Most likely your dock connector (on the bottom where you plug in your phone) is dirty or screwed up and is probably just coincidence that it happened after you updated. Some people have had success cleaning the port with a dry clean tooth brush. There is a long discussion going on at the thread I linked below. Good luck...

    alright well my problem I have been having lately is that i cant get all my songs on my ipod anymore i currently have a 5gen ipod vid 30gig and whenever i try to sync i get this message
    "Attempting to copy to the disk "MY IPO" failed. An unknown error occured (-69)."
    i have tried the restore function on itunes but that dont fix it, but recently my computer had a virus and i had to wipe and reinstall my OS and at the same time i got this virus my ipod was plugged in and syncing.

    I'm reasonably new to indesign but know the basics.  I have a deadline today but my InDesign CS6 is behaving strangely - If anyone could help me I would be HUGELY appreciative. 
    I'm trying to type like I normally would but whenever I try to place a piece of punctuation at the end of a paragraph or line, it places it at the start of the line.. even if my cursor is telling it to do differently.  (see image)
    I'm trying to place it at the end of legibility where my cursor is but it places it at the start of clarity at the start of the line!? does anyone have any ideas, need help with this ASAP

    @Joel – do you work with the Adobe World-Ready-Composer in conjunction with a RTL (Right-To-Left) character format? Maybe you could show us your paragraph with "Hidden Characters"on. Together with your definitions of the character style for the dot, the character style for all other characters and the paragraph style.
    I could mimic something like  you are showing with a very strange set of scripts generating a paragraph style and two character styles in InDesign CS5.5.
    See the following screen grabs:
    Character Style named "ZF_LTR" for all characters in the paragraph but the last one (the dot):
    Character Style named "ZF_Arabic" for the last character in the paragraph:
    Paragraph Style named "AF_MIXED2_LTR-RTL" for the whole paragraph. Not formatted properly for Arabic use. See the details in the section "Formateinstellungen" in the screen grab:

    The first time an iPhone is connected to iTunes that is used to sync with another iPhone or iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device or to set up the iPhone as a new iPhone.
    The former does as provided - it transfers the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device to the iPhone replacing all data on the iPhone that is included with the backup being transferred. The latter does nothing allowing you to make your various selections for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
    This is designed to be done right away with a new iPhone.
    If you don't have a backup for the iPhone with iTunes on your computer and don't have an iCloud backup that hasn't been updated since choosing to transfer the backup for your iPod Touch to the iPhone, the data that was on the iPhone is gone.
