I have recently restored my computer to original factory settings and now it wont recognise my ipod.
How can I now get my ipod to be recognised by my computer again and most importantly how can I store my music in the itunes library? Each time I try I get a message that says an ipod can only be synced to one computer at a time and if I go ahead I will lose all my music in my ipod. What can I do now?????
Just have to give it some time. The activation and verification servers are all slammed right now 'cause of all the people trying to update at the same time. Give it a couple hours (or overnight if you can wait) and it should sort itself out.

All contacts on your iPhone should be available on your computer. Not a good idea to depend on an iPhone or any cell phone alone for such important data. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.
Contacts and photos/videos in the Camera Roll should be included with your iPhone's backup which should have been created or updated by iTunes as the first step during the restore process - unless you declined the option.
If you declined the option, the data is gone. If not, restore your iPhone again from the backup that was created or updated before the previous restore. -
I have a Iphone 2 bought several years ago from the us, and used it in romania with a romanian number and in the uk. I think it was unlocked in the us by iphone. I did a stupid thing and I reset the phone to the factory settings and now I inserted a lyca sim and it says that The sim card inserted does not seem to be supported. please help me!!!
I'm assuming you're referring to the original iPhone.
More than likely, it was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it.
In the US, all of the original iPhones sold were locked to AT&T. AT&T did not offer unlocking at the time.
The best case scenario is that it has now re-locked to AT&T. Luckily, AT&T now offers unlocking. All original iPhones were sold at full retail. They were not subsidized.

Need Help to Restore computer to original factory settings
Hello. I need to reset my Sony VAIO to its original factory settings and have the memory cleared so i may give this computer to someone else. I dont want to do a system restore to a point in time, but revert the whole desktop to its original settings. My computer has had a new operating system put on (Windows 7) but I did not de-authorise my old computer which was Windows Vista and now I cannot sync my Ipod Classic as it keeps saying I have exceeded my maximum of 5 computers being authororized. I have recently upgraded my iMac to 10.6.8 and now find that the upload photo to Facebook facility no longer works. I have reset Safari but this has not resolved the issue - any suggestions? I can click on the "upload photos/video" field and it takes me to Finder to select the photo - but on selecting the photo, the Finder screen disappears as normal but from then on nothing happens.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Now empty the Safari cache.
Back to the menu bar, click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Quit and relaunch Safari then try Facebook.
If that doesn't help, it may be a Safari extension preventing you from uploading content to Facebook.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall. -
I have an iphone 5s and updated it to the new 7.1 software. A day later I go and use my phone and in the top left hand corner it says no service. i have tried restoring the pone, resetting the network settings and also a hard reset as well. It gains service for a short amount of time but then it loses service. Everyone else on my plan has service and their phones are completely normal but they never did the update... what can i do to fix this problem?
Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file, or maybe it's one of your apps causing the trouble. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.

Given the state your device is in you have already erased your old stuff. You have an image on the screen that says, "Connect to iTunes." That's what the image means. So you will need iTunes on your computer.
