I have registered my copy of CS4, but this does not allow me to use discounted price on my account
I want to signup to Creative Cloud using the 40% discount. It states on the site to register one of the products to validate I do in fact have a previous valid version.
I registered by going to Photoshop CS4 -> Help -> Register and filled it in. However the discount is not showing when I go to pay for the product.
Please advise.
Nobody can know. We do not know under which conditions your CS4 was purchased and whether it actually qualifies. it may have been under some special promo or licensing model and thus not be eligible. Either way, only sales support can give you a definitive anser, so use the web chat to contact them.

I have just downloaded a copy of Photoshop and Adobe Bridge CS4 onto a second laptop I recently purchased. However the font size of the menu bar/tool bars is extremely small. My other laptop also has a copy of CS4 but it does not have the extremely small font size. Could you please tell me how to increase the font size in the menu/tool bars?
You can't. Any version before Creative Cloud does not support high-DPI displays and that is just that. If you cannot adjust the system's screen resolution and so on, then there is nothing you can do.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled three times but I cannot get rid of this, there is no writing and no x to close it. I have to go to task manager to close.

I have an ipad and have just downloaded the lastest update, now I have a very very important spreadsheet that will not open!!!! other spreadsheets open fine but for some just this one will not open. I have rebooted the ipad and tried re-syncing but to no avail, can anyone HELP?????
I had the same problem. I created an iCloud account and backed up my iPad to iCloud. I then went to www.iCloud.com, signed-in and then I was able to download my spread sheet data. At least I have my data.

Hi i am have had a lot of trouble emptying my trash. when i go to put something in there it asks from my password and the item goes off the screen, but this does not clear any space on the hard drive.
1. Triple-click the line below to select it:

2. Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select

from the contextual menu. An Info dialog should open.
3. The dialog should show "You can read and write" in the Sharing & Permissions section. If that's not what it shows, click the padlock icon in the lower right corner of the window and enter your password when prompted. Use the plus- and minus-sign buttons to give yourself Read & Write access and "everyone" No Access. Delete any other entries in the access list.
4. In the General section, uncheck the box marked Locked if it's checked.
5. From the action menu (gear icon) at the bottom of the dialog, select Apply to enclosed items and confirm.
6. Close the Info window and test. -
i have just subscribed for a monthly billing for my acrobat pro XI, the problem is i have clicked on the link on the email that have sent me to activate it but its still not allowing me to acess this and see my PDF's, how to i activate my new license?
Can you explain the problem in more detail - "not allowing me to access" isn't clear to me. If you get any errors, please give the full wording. If you just don't seem to have any useful functions under TOOLS, make sure you are NOT still running Adobe Reader.

I have just purchased Real player 15sp but it does not seem to recognise Firefox13? and I cannot use the extra functions that it has. Example I cannot download videos. Thank you.

This is caused by the RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension. To fix it, disable the extension.
The RealPlayer plugin will still work.
At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP), and then click Add-ons. The Add-ons Manager tab will open.
In the Add-ons Manager tab, select the Extensions panel.
Select RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin.
Click on Disable.
Click Restart Now to start Firefox with the extension disabled. My add-on manager says the add-on is disabled.

My ipod touch has lost touch with my itunes account. I appear to have lost all my audiobooks from itunes and a nook I downloaded from audible.com last week is on my itunes but I cannot syn it to my ipod. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes but this did not work and I now have a different screen with itunes which I am not familiar with. I need my ipod for audiobooks and podcasts because I have a visual impairment.
iTunes 11 does some thinks differently. See:

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar -
