I have set my home page to aol and when I startup tomtom comes on first. If I press the house aol will come on.

I have set my homepage a number of times to aol. When I start the computer and press the firefox icon tomtom's website comes on. I can press the house icon and go to aol.
This problem after I installed tomtom home2 software on the computer.

Being redirected in a browser is not your laptop's doing. If the browser you are referring to is Internet Explorer then resetting it should do the trick.

If you are talking about moving the page to your desktop, then all you have to do is drag the favicon to the left of the address bar to the Desktop.

You've checked the spam folder on your rescue email account as well as the inbox, and you've tried clicking the reset link a second time ? If you have, and you still haven't received the email, then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

I tried setting my home page many times and it does not carry at restart. I followed the intructions. My home page keeps going back to some old setting.

I set my home page on multiple (5 or 6) web sites. As long as I do not close the session I do not lose it. But if I close the session and start over, my settings are gone and my home page is set to some bad URL I acquired during installation.

I have set my home page but the "drag this icon to the home symbol to set your home page" box will NOT go away each time I use Firefox. How can I get rid of it now that I've done what it wanted?

This little box near the top right started showing up recently, and after a few times I realized I did want to change my home page to my most frequently used web page, so I followed the instructions and it works, but that @W#$ popup box continues to show up each and every time I start, every time I log out of the web page, and so on. HT3226 my mail will just not open, when i try to open it it just gets stuck with the mail home page half open and when i click on the icon at the bottom it says app not responding, is there anything i can do myself or is this a trip to the Apple store?

Back up all data.
Quit Mail.

I have bought a new ipod touch and when i went to sync my music library on to it only a few songs went over, the ones that didnt had a ! next to them. I had no problem when using my last ipod touch but i was using a pc at the time not a mac though.

Page that appears when I click + to open a new tab... I set my home page as Google, but when I click + to open a new tab, I get AVG's search engine. In one solution, AVG suggested "open FF about:config...etc."

A new tab opens by default as a blank tab (about:blank).
If that isn't the case then an extension has changed that behavior.

I have purchased an iPad camera connection kit and when I attach my Canon Rebel XT I get a message that camera will not work.

In the title, I have this kit and it will allow me to connect my camera to the iPad (and my iPod) but gives me a message that this model camera (?) will not work with either. The camera is a Canon EOS Rebel XT and about 5 years old. I had an earlier connection kit that worked with a Canon (don't know the model) earlier but now I have no function with this equipment. Any suggestions?

With a Rebel XT / 350D you need to enable PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol) on it in its settings :
