I have several Outlook accounts and want to switch between them but Firefox defaults to the main one and won't let me access the others.

Outlook now makes me sign out and sign back in to each of my email accounts. When I try to sign back in, it defaults to the main account and won't let me type in the other email addresses. This only happens in Firefox, both Google and IE leave the email address blank and let me type in the one I want to access. I'd rather use Firefox, but it doesn't let me type in a different email address. Can I fix this?

This can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked (check the permissions on the about:permissions page).

Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Hi If you use a new Apple ID when setting up new iPhone Any music or Apps you have paid for will be lost. If you want to use your Apple ID that you have go to apple/support/id/apple.com. Cheers Brian

Thanks but that doesn't give me the information I need. I am putting an email on my ipod for people to contact me for iMessage and FaceTime but when I put the email in, it gives me an error saying that the email cannot be veirified because it is already in use. My Apple ID can be varified, just not the email that they will contact me with.

Someone broke into my original account and racked up charges, Apple closed it for me and suggested I open a new one,which I did, then they reinstated the original account. Some apps need to go to the second account to update since I had to resort to the new account while Apple took several months to figure out what happened, so I am stuck switching on occassion to update apps. When I went back to the primary account, I cannot download anything. I tried quitting both accounts, but nothing works. Help please!

Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.

Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.

I lost equipment due to lightening strike several years ago, which also had old equipment and was not available. I gave insurance images and provided original receipts (my purchases were made on Apple.com), and Apple provided electronic copies of the receipts. You may want to contact Apple and check, if they can provide a copy. Insurance may depreciate the original value. I was offered residual value which i used to buy newer replacements, and provided the receipts for replacements back to insurance.

When I use firefox and have several tabs open, I can only navigate between them by minimazing and maximazing FF in the taskbar and then clicking on the other tab. When I want to click on content on the website (say a link) I need to mini/maximize again.

If I want to switch to the other tab again, it only works if I do that again. It seems that I can either use the content of a website or use the functions of firefox, (like navigating between tabs, using favorites, typing in the address bar) but not at the same time. I always need to minimize and maximize the program by clicking on the task bar. This goes back and forth forever.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

I used Picasa and want to switch to iphoto but I want to keep the structure

Is there anyway I can keep the structure I set up for my photos in picasa and keep it in Iphoto? Does Iphoto import the photos onto the hard disk or does it leave it in the location I have it (external hard-disk) Picasa just displays the photos but not actually places them on different location, is that the same with iPhoto?

no - iPhoto is a relational database and manages photos - it does not allow you to control the structure - and there is no reason to - one of the primary reasons to use iPhoto is because of its amazing ability to find photos by any of many criteria

Sort of - iPhoto does have an option to reference the photos in a location of your selection but it is not recommended for many reasons - and iPhoto will not reflect any changes you make to the referenced photos and your referenced photos will not be modified when you edit in iPhoto - plus importing and deleting is more difficult and upgrading or changing hardware is much more difficult

I was able copy the hardrive of my old macbook from "My Passport" onto the desktop on an older iMac. but i dont know how to make my hardrive and user name be the main one since someone had used it in the past and had their info on the comp. please help!

I recently broke my 2008 macbook. i was able to use an external hardrive to back up my data onto My Passport. I was going to buy a new computer but a friend told me sher had an older version of the iMac. (not sure how old but it doesnt have a camera if that helps) i was able to hook it up and turn it on but i ran into a few problems. 1) the "authentic" user or whatever it says is someone who previously used the computer. i added me as a user but im not sure how to make me the main user. 2) after hooking up My Passport, i was able to drag my files and copy them to the desktop.(i think i did it correctly) now, i dont know how to make my hard drive and applications and iformation the "main " info. The current apps on the iMac are super old versions of iTunes and iPhoto and such. 3) while trying to open the apps from my macbook on the iMac, it said it didnt have the right software to open these apps.
I am so computer illiterate so someone please help!!! Also, i do not have internet in my new apartment yet so if there is a way to make this happen without using the internet that would be preferred. sorry for the horrible spelling and poorly written paragraph.

You are not going to be able to run your old system from the backup on this old computer as the hardware is incompatible.
You need to get a new computer or a refurbished one.

Xmlbeans, xmlobject and how to switch between them

I have a WLI JMS control that I use to send a created xml document to a topic (using the sendTextMessage(XmlObject xmlpayload) method). On the other side I have a standalone java process that reads from the topic. I expected an xmlmessage to come across, but it's a textmessage. How do I take the incoming textmessage and manipulate it to get the contents? I've just started working with XML so while it might be obvious to some, I'm not sure how to approach it. All suggestions are appreciated.

Something is wrong with the cropping. It won't let me crop the picture. Usually the arrow would appear so I can drag it to crop the image but now the little hand appear and does not change to the arrow.

I cannot use my crop function in editing. The little hand would not change to the arrow hence cannot drag to crop the image. It just happened today.

I have multiple itunes libraries. why can't i switch between them (i can see them in the dialog box but they are not select-able)?

i have a numbe of libraries; i have never had any problems switching between them. now, when i press alt button and click through to 'choose library...', i am seeing all of my libraries in the dialog box but they are 'greyed' out and i cannot select them.
