i have tried to restore via itunes as i would have usually, half way through i get an error code 3194 pop up.....and yes i do back up.

Apple drives in MacBooks do not support mini DVDs. They cannot be injected or ejected properly. Some of them work in tray-loaders like on the Mac Pro.

This is a user-to-user forum. Everyone is voluteering their time. Sometimes you need to wait more that 4 minutes for an answer.
Many USB ports do not supply enough power to charge an iPad. It may be charging but very slowly and only when the screen is dark. Your best bet is to charge it using the wall charger.
It's a little hard to answer your second question without more details. However, have a look at this article:

iDevices do not sync with a date... they sync with the computer.
If the user has restored the device using an older backup, simply restore it with a more current backup.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Theres something in my iPhone 5 jack and i cant get it out, what do i do?

i usually keep my phone in the front pocket of my jeans, as people do, i think a piece of pocket fluff must have gotten inside the jack and when i plugged my headphones in it must've pushed it in making it stuck. i've tried getting the hoover to suck it out and used a small tooth pick to get it out but its still stuck in pretty good. i really dont know what to do, do i go to apple? will they take it apart and take it out?

Get a paperclip & unfold it. Now, get the stickest tape you can find and wrap then end, sticky side out...make sure it is FIRMLY atached to the paperclip end. Insert into headphone jack, rotate & it should get everything out. Repeat as necessary.
Finish with compressed air.

I already have a creative cloud account and I keep getting window asking to use trial version of 2014 programs.

The other day I received a notice that there was an update for creative cloud to correct this. After updating that it still is giving me the same issue. Why isn't the 2014 programs just and upgrade for the existing CC programs?

That is a question only you can answer. I concur with Phil, though. By the iPad Air 2. You obviously keep your devices a long time. If you restore the phone using the computer it normally syncs with, the passcode will be removed. The passcode is not part of the backup. You will lose any data since the last backup. If you don't have access to that computer, you will have to put the phone in recovery mode and restore it as a new device. This will erase ALL data on the phone.

It shounds like you are sharing the same iCloud account. When you do this, any content you sync with the shared account is merged and the merged data appears on both devices. Also, any actions taken on either device are reflected on the other. If you son was syncing contacts with your account, then found your contacts on his phone and started deleting them, they would have been deleted from your phone too and are now lost.
If your contacts are no longer in your account on icloud.com, then they are no longer in iCloud and you will have to use another backup source to recover them, if you have one.
To prevent the problem from occuring in the future, make sure everyone's devices are on a separate iCloud account with a separate ID. You can continue to share the same ID for iTuens and App store purchases; it doesn't have to be the same as the ID used for iCloud.
To move your son to a separate account, have him go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with a separate ID to create the new account. This only deletes the account from his phone, not from iCloud. Your phone won't be effected by this.
