Hi pretty self expalanotory as in the title. I just want to know if there is a way to access website history that is maybe stored right on the router. Any assistance woudl be appreciated. I am not just a nosy Dad but I am very concerned about unsafe activity that my son may be researching. Thank you.

Correct, but you may need to install some software on each computer that you want to be able to monitor in the household. OpenDNS will walk you through the setup.
If you want to go back in time, there are also professional applications (read very expensive) that will reveal the browsing history of a given computer.....even if the browsing history has been erased by the user.
You will have to have physical access to the computer to use these applications. Post back if you need a few names.

Have you been syncing the iPod with iTunes? Then you just connect the iPad and set it up through iTunes and sync any content you want onto it.

In terms of games/apps. If they are not universal (you will see a + symbol next to them) or made for iPad (you would see an HD in the name, usually) then they won't look good on an iPad as those apps will open in a iPod sized window, giving you the option to enlarge.

It has always beenv ery basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just this reason. Use your backup copy to put everything back.

Making a new Apple ID was the worst thing you could of done. This is very bad to do. Not sure why people do that. Your Apple ID is Your Apple ID. You only need one and it is best to only have one Apple ID for all apple devices.

You can import your media a couple different ways. If you plan on keeping the media on the external drive, I would just direct iTunes to read the media folder on the external. Here are the steps on how to make that change.

Is there a way to see what font was used originally, after the type has been converted to outlines?

Hi all, I would really like to know if there is any way to find out what font was used originally in an Illustrator document, after the type has been converted to outlines? The reason for this is I need to update some wording in a couple of old logos I had made and I have NO idea what font I had used...for the life of me I just cannot remember. Because this was so urgent for one of my projects I had to do a search online via "WhatTheFont" to see what font it could be (which I then didn't seem to have in my library!), and repurchase it. I am 99% sure I HAVE the font - or something VERY close - but under a different name.
Normally I keep a much better record of fonts used but there have been times occasionally in the past when I have done something in a hurry and changed the type to outlines without keeping the original, or keeping detailed notes at least. The fact that I did NOT keep notes on a few projects I have done in the past has made me want to kick myself because now I need to revisit one of those again..grrr:)
Can anyone offer any advice? I appreciate your help as always:)

I am looking to find if some TV shows I bought are in my Cloud. They are in my libarry currently, but I want to make sure that if my computer ever crashes and loses data, that they won't be lost. I am looking for a way to see all the content that is in the Cloud for iTunes, but I have only find the webpage that shows contacts, notes, ect. Anyone know if this is possible? Thanks.

No, Apple very rarely make advance announcements of bug fixes.
You can restore much of the look & feel of the previous version with these shortcuts:
Ctrl-B to turn on the menu bar.
Ctrl-S to turn on the sidebar.
Ctrl-/ to turn on the status bar.
Click the magnifying glass top right and untick Search Entire Library for the old search behavior.
Alternatively you roll back to iTunes 10.7. If so, first download a copy of the 32 bit installer or 64 bit installer as appropriate, uninstall iTunes and supporting software, i.e. Apple Application Support & Apple Mobile Device Support. Reboot. Restore the pre-upgrade version of your library database as per the diagram below, then install iTunes 10.7.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to scan the media folder and catch up with any changes made since the backup file was created.
You might also want to use iTunes Feedback.

Wireless Security ... Is there an easy way to see if anyone has been trying to gain access ?

I am using both a wireless router from my cable company and an Apple Time Capsule with an Airport network set up. Is there a way to see if anyonehas been trying to acceess my network besides myself. Occasionally I get messages that another user is connected and I have security passwords in place. I am not sure if this is referencing my other Apple machines, iphone, ipad, macbook pro etc or if a neighbor is trying to get into my network.
I do occasionally use the Air Display app to check a machine in another room and I wonder if this has compromised my security with the setting to use the app..
I would like to make my network invisible to anyone except myself. I do encrypt everything using passwords as well as File Vault. I can see many other networks in my neighborhood in the wifii list.

I am running my canon camera on the EOS utility program for mac, and i was wondering if there is a keyboard shortcut to start video recording, instead of using the mouse.

I am using EOS utility for MAC to run my canon camera at work. I have a foot switch connected to my macbook that allows me to take snapshots with my foot while i work ( i am a dentist and i have my camera hooked to a microscope). the way i did that is by programming a keyboard shortcut that snaps photos on EOS utility, to the foot switch software.
So my question is: On EOS there is a video recording function, so i was wondering if there is a keyboard shortcut or if i can create a keyboard shortcut for the start/stop record function for video recording..

At some point yesterday all of my saved clips from a large project adopted the "Rejected" classification and lost the "Favorite" designation that I spent the better part of one week selecting. I have no idea how this happened, I surely did not intentionally designate all my shots as Rejects, but I'm wondering if there is any way to remove the Reject designation and recover my "Favorites"? Not that it helps, but it certainly seems there should be a warning message before FCP X does something so radical. Anyone know how can I can fix this? Thanks

Do you use Time Machine? You should be able to just go back in time on the project file, right? If you don't use Time Machine, you should. A 2 TB external USB hard drive is around $113 at Amazon.com. You just plug it in and tell Time Machine to use it and you're done.
You can Select All in the Event and then click ont he grey star next to the green star to remove the Rejected status on all clips, but that won't restore your Favorites. You need to revert your project file to a backup.

Yes, you do this when you export the images from the Library.
File -> Export
in the Size section, you don't need images larger than the frame size, so you can specify that and in the Jpeg Quality you can select the amount of compression used.
