About new product of Adobe

Guys I have learned form different internet search that Adobe has introduce Flash Catalyst where you do not have to knowledge of AS and flash to design beautiful flash website or content. Is this make trouble to the flash designer which spend a lot of time to design same effect in flash. Do you think that Flash Catalyst will introduce people which are lazy to design but can produce beautiful websites or animation.

What you will see in a forum like this is people with problems. That is why we are here. You will not find thousands of people coming here to report that they do not have a problem. Adobe does provide security updates for older products for some time, but not necessarily as quickly as they do for current products. From a security point of view, the current version is generally better. The major advantages of the newer version of Reader to the older version of Reader is that you can use it to view files that use the extra capability that version 9 provides. Personally, I try to create pdfs that will work in the oldest version of Reader possible to maximize the number of viewers and reduce the number of headaches. I'm sure that many others do as well. So you can stick with version 8 if you like, until you get something that requires version 9. However, just remember that problems can and do arise and if you wait until have to have version 9 RIGHT NOW, something can go wrong (as people here have experienced). You may need time that you don't have to straighten out the problem.

but i'd like to wait a bit until the prices come down,
should apple decide to ditch they're core 2 duo models, and move all the models down a knotch
hence the price should fall for the base core i 5 model.
I don't want a core 2 duo model, as I currently have a 2008 core 2 duo, and they overheat past 75 degrees Celsius. I see them as old technology, and i don't know why apple are still selling them.

You could look back at past practice of new releases and decide if you think that pattern will hold, or you could ask at other sites such as macrumors (note that Apple is famous for being secretive about future releases, so any "information" you find will likely be highly subjective).

I have some general questions about Java

Is there a such thing as a list of every Exception in Java?
Is there somewhere I can look at examples of try statements, catch statements I guess tutorials on the basics of Java, like what would constitute these statements.

I hate to say this about E-MU but the way they are dealing with Vista Drivers is unprofessional. I am a repeat customer of Creative products and was so impressed by my old Platinum eX that I bought a second to run duals for tons of audio processing. That was back in the day. Then I jumpped ship and tried out an M-Audio Firewire 40. That did not last too long beforei was completely unimpressed. So I came back to Creative... Purchased a 820 in the box. So impressed I turned around and purchased a 66 in the box just 8 months later. Both ran smooth as butter... All until i just recently built my new system designed primarily with audio production in mind.
With a setup like this, who needs a mac?

Months into RTM of Vista...
E-MU is caught pushing release dates.
Last month it said they would release beta drivers middle of April...
I waited, patiently I might add.
I waited<waited some more, I try running xp drivers... computer wont even try to install them properly.
My software waits, computer waits, turns into a gameing machine just because my all together 600 dollar investments in Creative are not important enough to leld me the drivers i need to be producti've in what i love.
I need x64 drivers stat. I need them working, I need them installable without a glitch, a hitch, no driver signing problems, no questions, no fuss no muss. I find it ironic that you guys at E-MU are willing to jump right in there and make sure to have drivers compatable for you new products, yet faithful advocats of the most powerful soundcards you have are sitting here dead in the water because you dont find it nessesary to place priority on ready and waiting end users who have purchased long term support buy investing large amounts of moola into hardware from your company.
Come on, its not like the 820 or the 66 are exactly legacy technology. We are talking about Hardware that is only two years old and should be usable for up to 6 years. This is deffinatly a strike against the company and just goes to show where Creative stands.
I have stood by waiting in silence for a very long time.
Now i think my time has come to tell how i feel and i believe there are alot of others out there that feel the same. the only items that do not work soothly are my E-MUs... go figure.
And I have been looking forward to all i can do running both of them side by side.
Oh yes, and that link posted above to the beta news for vista... its a joke. open up your betas, and have a real dev tell us what the hang ups are... At least give us real concreate reasons why it is taking so long.
with that said, when you guys get yoru act together and get me some drivers, I will sit happy as a lark.

I already checked that page. On the first time I was trying to install Vista on a clean hard drive. The installation process finishes without errors but after installation Vista shows me a lot of error messages, mostly about unknown hardware. So I installed all available drivers I have found on Toshiba web site. It not helped me too much, hardware problems still remains. I could not find out what exactly causes probles. Finally I decide to install XP and then upgrade to Vista. Now everything seems to be ok. :D
There was some hardware problems but much easier to resolve. It seems to me that Toshiba did not provide all the drivers, for example StarForce Protection drivers. Vista did not recognized this hardware on the first time.
Now it works!

Some of my friends have done IP projects and become experts in it in 1 year.
Now, i heard there is a some changes to SAP product for planning by the name of BPC.
what is going to happen to the following:
1. IP courses.
2. IP skills learnt & market value.
3. IP books and materials. Investments made in IP courses.
4. IP support packages and the product itself.
5. Existing customers who just signed to purchase IP or implemented or midway through implementation using IP? Are they given any roadmap to migrate from IP to BPC? How should they plan for the future for their planning system which is new and already, there is a newer kid on the block called BPC?
6. What is the rationale for giving the world IP and in such a short time kind of providing another product called BPC?
7. How should IT explain to CEO / CFO about this big change in such a short time? If they knew what is to come, how different will things be?
8. What is meant by IP will co-exist with BPC? Is BPC not meant to replace IP with same functionality? When will IP be extinct?
9. How to learn about BPC? What jobs can IP consultants do after the end of IP?
10. Where is or will be having the most installations for BPC in the next few months?
Anyone can give your comments on the above questions ?

The web service will return key performance metrics, such as peak performance,maximum memory, current load, and current available memory. A secondary aim will be to develop a portlet that will provide an interface to the service.
Tomcat or J2EE web server, JSR-168 compliant portlets, and Web Services for Remote Portlets (WSRP) should be metioned!

First of all, if you want to create a chess board, create a panel with a grid layout. The grid layout will carry the number of rows and columns that you need.
Second, you will have to set the color of each grid alternatively to black and white.
After you have done this, your chess bord is ready.
Now...coming to the mouse events:
You will have to implement a MouseListener and implelemnt the method mouseClicked(MouseEvent e) attached to the container.
So when you use the methods getX() and getY() based on the MouseEvent e...
e.getX(); //Returns the horizontal x co-ordinate

Some basic questions about DAC

I am just starting to use DAC now and I have some basic questions about DAC..
1: How many different kinda image tables are there, what are they used for?
2: In order to check which ETL mapping with in the same execution plan is taking a long time, what to do? I mean is there a table that stores such info?
3: How to determine which ETL task to run after and which after?
4: Is subject area always map to the Informatica workflow folder? Or what should subject area be?
Please shed some lights on it, deeply appreciate!

I have problems to understand you question but will do a try:
From a logical point of view objects can be only serialized reasonabely when they have a state of it's own which can be reestablished at a later point in time and space without further dependencies.
F.E. a "serialized file" would NOT make much sense cause it depends heavily on the state of the underlying file system.
You can't expected that is can be deserialized at a later point of time (physical file refered may not longer exists) or on another machine, where the serialized object was transported to.
Technical - at zero approach - it's more or less trivial. Simply implement Serializable and all non static, non transient fields of your object will be serialized automatically.
But there is a couple of pitfalls, you should study documentations regarding this feature.

I have an idea too, That is about the lock screen on iphone, on new ios guys keep it a little different . lock screen would be just a screen with change able wallpaper no lock sign , and we unlock it be making sign or anything on screen for eg. circle .. as people prefer it , it would be totally free to edit anyway u want ... any gesture .... or shake unlock anything ... the unlock is so not cool on iphone .... though i respect the fact that its a universal device meaning ppl of 80 or 5 yrs old can use it .... and the guy i am commenting on, look apple have this suppor thing becoz they want to know what you think .. and all the things you write here would be seen by some apple team so go on write what you want or your idea here , they will get it for sure !

Can you start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] ?
You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.
