Since it's a MacPro1,1, it originally shipped with Mac OS X 10.4.7 and will run Mac OS X 10.4.11 when installed from its original disks(or the Mac OS X Server 10.4 Universal Binary) and updated.

Upgraded to Lion, CS3 programs will only let me open 1 photo per session, what gives?

Just upgraded to Lion from Snow Leopard. Now my CS3 Creative Suite programs will only let me open one picture per session. I then have to completely close out of photoshop or illustrator or whatever and reopen to open another picture. Any suggestions before I have to take my computer to the apple store.

I'm not sure the Apple Store will troubleshoot 3rd party software that is 3 versions old.

I have a file that will not let me access it and I can not make myself the owner even though I created it

I am trying to do something and whenever I try to run it it tells me "The file “start.command” could not be executed because you do not have appropriate access privileges." and if I go to the info about the file and try to make myself an owner it will not let me do it and it is just gray.
I really would really like someone to help me because I promised my friend I would do this.

RESOLVED!!! I logged on to my Straight Talk online account, and did a Tech Chat. They immediately gave me a direct phone number and a Reference PIN number and asked me to contact their iPhone specialty support. I called (of course the gentleman's accent was very difficult for me to understand, but managed with asking continually for clarity). He walked me through several tests, setting changes and had me get on my wifi to obtain the latest APN settings. None of his efforts worked ad it was obviously NOT my Straight Talk iPhone 5, 64GB CDMA (no SIM) - it was something with their setting on their end on my account. I was placed on hold a few times and he would come back on to have me try to get on Safari and even Google... after the 3rd on-hold, he returned and asked me to try to use my data again without the wifi turned on and BINGO it worked... I still do not have my wifi turned on and I'm still receiving texts from YESTERDAY too while I was away from wifi service. IF you come across this issue - please call Straight Talk and/or log on to your Straight Talk online account and talk to an online customer service representative and get their direct line phone number for iPhone support and have your Reference PIN number available. I have a vi that will not let me make many edits before it crashes.

I have been working on a data acquisition program for over a year. Over time it has grown and become more and more complicated. Now the vi will no longer let me make substantial changes. After making edits, when I click, save, LabView crashes. There is no message, just the whole thing disappears.
I don't know what to do now. I need to make major changes to this vi but am unable to do so because of this LabView bug. I tried copying everything into a new vi, but have the same problem.
I developed this program initially on a Macintosh under OS9 with Labview 7. I upgraded to labview 7.1 and the computer to OSX. I have the problem in OSX. There is no going-back now.

I've never had such an issue, but I would try a mass compile (tools, advanced, mass compile) first.
Note which VI's have errors and strip them out.
If that doesn't work, individually save each subVI until you figure out which one is causing the problems. If you are using any third party daq software you may want to uninstall/reinstall it. Those third party dll's can get you (or whatever type of libraries OSX uses).

It sounds like the application you are looking for is indeed still on your iPhone. You can confirm this by searching in the Spotlight Search for this application. It may have accidentally been moved to a folder, or an additional Home screen:

I want to use Boot Camp and windows 7 or 8, preferrably 7 to run a tax program that will only let me use explorer. I am using a Mac Book Pro with OSX Maverick 10.9. There are so many windows programs out there it is confusing which one I need. I don't think that I will need Office.
