I have somehow managed to block hotmail from my browser help!!!

I had picked up some unsavory contacts to my contact list without my knowledge. I attempted to delete them and now get this in my address bar:

You can't delete default apps. Check your restrictions for Safari in Settings/General/Restrictions and disable them if active.
If the restrictions are not set, use the search function "spotlight" to find it, one swipe to the right from your home screen.
If this does not work, reset the home screen layout in Settings/General/Reset.

What you did was sync it to a computer. The iPhone can sync to ONLY one iTunes library at a time. you can't put media on it from multiple computers. It's been this way since 6/29/2007.

I can't make or answer calls, I can't even power if off. I can't access the hardward ID which Apple support seems to require for Chat.
It might have happened when I was accessing my camera bypassing the lock screen!
All I know is that the thing is now useless and it looks like I will have to wait for the battery to run down to see if powering it back up afterwards will solve the problem.

I have since discovered the "hold down home key and power button" together for a few seconds and this seems to have worked .... phew!

Go into View > Toolbars and select the toolbars you want to be displayed. If you don't see the menu bar, simply tap ALT in your keyboard. Rightclicking anywhere in the toolbar will also present you with the menu (don't rightclick stuff that can be rightclicked for other functions, like the back menu or the tabs).

Disconnect all peripherals from your computer.
Boot from your install disc & run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.

Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.
Click Repair Disk.

I have somehow managed to completely remove the URL bar, bookmarks, favourites and everything else at the top of the page, how do I get it back?

I was trying just to remove one of the things from the top of the page, but then somehow removed everything from the page; URL bar, shortcuts, favourites, refresh button etc. All I have is the 'tab' bar. Please could you let me know how to get all this back.

I have somehow managed to delete/remove the feedback button and cannot figure out how to put it back.

I was going to provide feedback regarding a webpage that does not display properly in Firefox, but does in Explorer, when I noticed the feedback button was gone. The button was there when Firefox was first installed, but is now gone. Any suggestions or do I need to uninstall and then reinstall Firefox?

My LOOPS Disappeared from LOOPS Browser HELP!

hi, my loops do not show up in my loops browser in logic 8 all of a sudden. yesterday the did, and now, there is nothing there. all the choices like "dark" or "experimental" or "guitars" etc. no longer highlight. the only button that highlites is "All". and when i click it the "Reset" button highlites. then i click that an nothing again. not finding them. but when i search for them they are on my harddisk... not deleted. does anyone know how to get the loop browser to rescan the drive? ive quit logic and restarted, resterted the computer. looked thru all my choices n tried to read logic manual. cant find anything to get my loops to show back up in the browser. can anyone help?

Im having the same issue with my Logic 8 Pro. When i clicked on a loop that was not there, i accidentally selected clear all loops and now I have none! they are currently on my hard disk because I can see them. I just cannot get them back into logic 8! WHAT THE HEY!?

You cannot delete the Music app, it is part of the OS. You have either failed to find it on one of the Home screens, restricted it in Settings, or slid it into a folder. If you cannot find it at all, reset your desktop settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

Unreliable receiving hotmail from other hotmail users

Is there a temporary problem with receiving mail from Hotmail at the moment? Im not talking about plug ins for my own hotmail account, I dont have anything set up, but hotmail from other people seems to be in transit for hours, and sometimes doesnt arrive! I have tried experimenting with gmail, and it arrives more or less as expected. But hotmail! I am still waiting for mail I know has been sent (half an hour, 8 hours..). My fiancee thinks I am ignoring her!

If you are accessing your Hotmail account via webmail with a browser or with the Mail.app using the Hotmail plugin, Apple has nothing to do with this.
Apple is responsible for the incoming and outgoing servers for .Mac email accounts only.
Any problems sending or receiving email with a Hotmail account are caused by Microsoft servers or a temporary problem in transit between various servers.

Why can't I drag and drop images from the browser into other programs?

Ever since I upgraded to Firefox 4 (even after I upgraded again to Firefox 5) I have been unable to drag images from the browser into other programs, including MS Paint and IcoFx. I receive an error message stating that the file (the address given lists it as being located in the temporary files folder) cannot be found.
Prior to this I had always been able to conveniently drag and drop images for easy editing without having to save first and then open them. This feature is important to me, as I work with graphics very often, and is still available in Chrome and Internet Explorer. I love Firefox though, and hope that there is something I can do to fix the problem.

I had this problem on Windows 8.1.1 and iTunes 11.2.2.3
To resolve it from within Itunes I did : Edit, Preferences, Sharing.
I took the tick out of "Share my library on my local network"
Click OK.
Closed iTunes/
Reopened iTunes and I can drag and drop.
I went back into Edit, Preferences, Sharing and put the tick back and clicked OK.
Works fine now.

You are running 10.6.8? If yes, I assume you have your install disks? As the trash bin is part of Mail app and that is an integral part of the OS, the only way I know to get it back is to reinstall the OS. You won't lose any files, just reinstall the OS over the top of the current system.
