I have spent hours and hours trying to download adobe reader no luck i want to cancel this as i have no more time to waste on it. i managed to get an acct. opened i believe but that is useless as i am not ab le to download the product. please delete
I wish to delete the download of the adobe reader as i have no more time to waste on this. i want my acct. deleted also as there is no need for it. it has been the most frustrating thing to deal with and i do not wish to keep pulling my hair out!!!!!

What exactly means "unable" - do you get any error messages?

You do. Your system is either Windows or Mac (or maybe a couple of other less popular choices) and a version of one or the other.
When you set up your machine, you were asked for an administrator user name and password. You need both of these to install software. -

I am trying to download the trial version and I get to the Adobe Assistant Download complete, but then NO file allows for download. I have turned off all blocks, looked in Explorer, I have spent about 3 hours doing this... HELP
I personally try to avoid that "download assistant" whenever possible...

I have Photoshop CS5 and am trying to download the Camera Raw Plug in that will allow me to open images taken with a D800 camera .
It appears the download has been successful when I look in my " Downloads " Folder but I still get a message up saying the installed version of Camera RAW won't support the Camera model ( i.e. D800 ) . What am I missing ??

iMatch error -3231. No matter what Apple suggest, absolutely nothing works. My songs upload to iMath then come to a complete halt at around 1646 of 5086 songs. All my songs are taken from CDs I have purchased in stores, or purchased from iTunes.
The senior advisor was put on after the original advisor got stuck as to what to do. She had advised Deleting all my data and starting again as if I had anew computer. I told her this was out of the question as I had over 4000 photos, plus emails, documents, downlaods etc.
So I was passed to the Senoir Advisor who did much the same as the orher advisors had. We tried to use Migration Assistant but it did not give that as an option. I unplugged the Iomega hard drive to see if that was causing any problems. It uses a Firewire connection. We set up a temporary account, which is where all the data is now. The new account is as if the computer is new and as yet has no settings.
A previous advisor who was very helpful told me that after we had deleted the Lion Operating System that I should ask the next Advisor to "use Migration Assistant in first time setup visit, in order to restore Applications and User Account" .
All of them talked about Time Machine, but no-one including the Senior Advisor seems to be able to fix it. It was bought new from the Apple Store in Southampton in June 2011.
Currently it works sporadically on the three problem Applications. This is not good enough, and although I have contacted the Senior Advisor three times since by email I have had no response. Could it be something mechanical like a loose connection in the heart of the machine? It is driving me mad and taking up hours and hours of my life. -

Photos.
They are on my macBook, backed up on time machine. There are 19,000+ of them, some rescued from a pc crash- which I used the nifty iPhoto to put back into date order.
I want to take them all off my laptop, now............as I need to use it for WORK!!
Copied them (hours and hours) to another external hard drive.
They are now in alphabetical order (all 19,000+ of them) NOT IN THEIR EVENTS or date order. (-They have also been taken with different cameras over the years and some of the generic camera numbering remains.)
I have tried to copy them (only a few as an experiment) one event at a time, but that again "opens up" the Event "folder" and tips them out as individuals and therefore just lists image letters and numbers alphabetically.
How can I copy
the whole library still in "Events" to an external hard drive?
the folders/albums I have already made on to this hard drive?
and how can I add to this back up monthly, again keeping events and folders separate and updated?
Mac is so user friendly - there must be a way.........
ThanksUPDATE : I have re-installed from disk, various apps that were no longer functioning such as iLife, iWork etc. So, I now can access my photos again.
Also, I had to re-install all the software for my printer ( Stylus Pro 4880 ) and reset it so the printer is working again.
Photoshop CS4 won't open. I think I will have to get in touch with Adobe as basically, I guess they have a built-in "blocker" which prevents me from opening the app as the license is for only 1 user and having re-installed the OS, there are now, in effect, 2 users ( Me and Me 1, I think ).
So, having added on a new external HD, Time Machine has made a copy of most of the files, folders, apps etc onto the external HD. The internal HD is still nearly full ( 220 GBs out of 232 GBs ).
I am guessing the way to go now in order to free up space on the internal HD is to delete/trash older photos from my iPhoto library and hope that if needed, I will be able to access them on the external HD.
Am I correct ? Please advise before I do something I will regret.

I created an iCloud account and also had to get more space so after I have made the purchase, I am unable to backup my phone! I have a stable wifi connection at home and all I see for hours and hours is "Backing Up .. Estimating time remaining"!!!!! Plz help I'm unable to make the backup as I need to transfer all my data on my new iPhone 5S
This may be caused by a corrupt existing backup that needs to be deleted, or by data on your device that is causing the backup to fail. To troubleshoot these, try deleting your last iCloud backup (if you have one) by turning off iCloud Backup in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, then tap Manage Storage, tap your device under Backups, then tap Delete Backup. Then go back and turn iCloud Backup back on and try backing up again.
If it still won't back up, you may have an app or something in your camera roll that is causing the backup to fail. To locate which one, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of your device under Backups, under Backup Options tap Show All Apps, then turn them all to Off (including camera roll) and try backing up again. If the backup is successful, then the camera roll and/or one of your apps is causing the backup to fail and you'll have to located by process of elimination. Turn the camera roll On and try backing up again. If it succeeds, turn some of your apps to On and try backing up again. If it succeeds again, turn some more apps to On then try again; repeat this process until it fails. Eventually you'll be able to locate the problem app and exclude it from your backup.
In the meantime you can back up your phone to your computer by connect it, opening iTunes and going to File>Devices>Back Up. Also be sure to transfer your purchases (File>Devices>Transfer Purchases). Then set up your new phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iTunes Backup and follow the prompts to restore this backup to your new phone. This will be much faster than using iCloud anyway. -

Yes, many people do just that. Copy your iTunes folder to the external drive. Once done, open iTunes with Option held down and select the new location of the library file.

I SPENT HOURS AND HOURS ON A BOOK FOR MY PARENTS. NOW IT IS GONE! MY PROJECTS IS EMPTY.
Once again, I have spent many many hours making a book for my parents. Finding old photos of my parents, their parent and other family members. Working with my mother long distance to get the right information about each and every picture and on and on. I had two pictures left to ID and I when into MY PROJECTS with HP PHOTO CREATIONS, and my PROJECT is GONE!! I have look everywhere on my harddrive and nothing. At no time was there EVER information provided by HP that when the PHOTO CREATIONS PROGRAM WAS UPDATED I would lose all of my hard work.
I can not even begin to tell you how angry I am at this moment. My mother is very ill and most likely the book will not ever be started over again. PLEASE I am begging....if HP could help me find my project. The name of the book was Zuhlke Family.
In addition I really have got to say I own HP printers laptops etc as I love the quality. I have purchased the My Care warrant (or whatever it is called, and never used it) but trying to be able to simply ASK A QUESTION is such an ordeal with HP. I truly am thinking of going with a different company simply because other companies are approachable and HP is NOT. There is so much you have to go through it is ridiculous. Each new set of questions and what is the serial number and where did you purchase your item only adds to the frustration people are already feeling. So by the time we can actually get to a place where a question can be asked the frustration level has risen 10 fold. Just something for you to think about.

Install it and open it.
Drag the Reader.app from your Applications folder onto the AppZapper window
"Zap" the file and all asociated files.
Close AppZapper
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plugins
If the AdobePDFviewer.plugin or AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin files are present, trash them
Empty the trash
Download the Reader Installer again: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
Mount the DMG and run the installer.
Launch Reader 11 from your Applications folder and accept the license agreement
Reader will run properly from here on out. -
I am holidaying in Auckland using my daughter's Orcon internet account for sending mail but it will not send. I am sure I am putting in the correct information but it still says mail.orcon.net.nz(Offline). I have spent half an hour with Orcon putting in correct info. They do not know how to help me further and neither does telstra clear, my own internet provider.
