I Have Spent (No Kidding) About 20 Hours Trying to Connect WRT54GS

I am trying to connect my new wireless laptop (HP Pavilion dv6985se) to your WRT54GS router. I have DSL internet with Verizon over a dedicated line. My modem is a Westell model E90-810015-06. Your instructions show the router being plugged into a PC tower, which I do not own. No matter how many, many, many times I go through the steps for installing the router, I always end up with the router attached to my laptop- not wireless. There is no way for me to connect the modem to the router using two cables as your instructions show. My modem only has the ethernet outlet and a usb outlet (which I don't have a cable for because I didn't need it). I should not have to buy a flash drive to make this work. At least that's what HP says. When I connect the modem to the router, I get an error message on my monitor saying I am no longer connected to the internet and I should check my connections. The ethernet light never comes on on the router. I never get past step 4/4 (waiting for router). At this point, the process freezes, and I have to use Task Manager to end the program. At the end of it all my computer 1) can't find the router 2) Is disconnected from the internet 3) Can't locate a wireless connection. I am so ready to throw this in the trash and never buy Linksys again. I have been to a bazillion websites, and many, many people are having similar problems.

First, do not use the setup CD (Easylink Advisor) as it does not work.

Are you planning to have this table do any of the calculation, or is is to be used as the electronic equivalent of a sheet of paper with a grid printed on it—a place to record the data.
For your seven column table:
Are you using one or more rows at the top of the table to label the data below? If so, you might want this row (or these rows) to be set as Header Rows.
Are you using the leftmost column to label the rows? If so, you may want this column to be a Header column.
The default table supplied on the "Blank" templates contains one header row and one header column. If you need more (or fewer) Header rows or columns, select the table, then go Table (menu) > Header Rows > (choose the number you need). Repeat to set the number of Header Columns.
To make a seven column table from the table supplied by default, click on any cell in column H (The eighth column), and drag right to add more cells to the selection, until you get to the last column of the table. With these cells selected, Go Table > Delete Columns.
To make the remaining seven columns fit across a single page:
Go View > Show Print View to show the table as it would appear when printed to paper.
Select the table by clicking its icon in the Sheets List to the left (easy method), OR by carefully clicking on the outside boundary of the table itself (fiddley method).
With the table selected, you will see square white handles at each corner and at the middle of each side (including the top and bottom).
With the mouse, grab the handle in the middle of the right side of the table and drag right (or left) until the table just fits onto the width of the defined page.
With the table still selected, set the thickness and colour of the cell boundaries using the Gaphics Inspector (as described by Jerry), or using the Stroke, Thickness and Color Well controls in the Format bar above the working portion of the Window.

The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ...

Assuming your modem is wireless use Airport Utility to configure the AEX to extend an existing network. The modem's wireless router should be configured to allow its network to be extended.

It is quite possible to have a different iCLoud AppleID from the iTunes one - have you set up maybe Phot Stream using an non-iTunes AppleID?

I tried downloading adobe 9, tried acrobat.com, isn't there a way to create a pdf file? Seems like it should be easy.

I'm sorry for the confusion. I thought you were trying to use the Create PDF service, which is more accurately described as a conversion service.
We do offer the ability to create new files using Buzzword. Please go to acrobat.com and choose the Buzzword tab to get started. Choose Document -> New to begin. Once you're done working on the document, Buzzword offers the option to export into a number of different file types, including PDF.

A connection timeout occurred. I have been receiving this error when trying to connect to the open wifi connection at my university. My wifi works perfect when I am using it on my home network. I have tried all the suggestions in forums online no luck.

I am getting a connection timeout occurred message on my mid-2009 macbook pro I am running mountain lion 10.8.2 but problem occured before and after update. Click the Assist me button and select Assistant. Follow the prompts. You may get a warning that Wi-Fi is not available, that you're too far from the base station, or that you're using the wrong password.
Assuming that you've ruled out those possibilities, click the lock icon in the lower left corner of the preference pane and authenticate, if necessary. From the Location menu at the top of the window, select Edit Locations. A sheet will drop down. Click the plus-sign button to create a new location. Give it any name you want. In the new location, set up the Wi-Fi service with the same settings you used before. Click Apply and test.

I have spent the past 10 days trying to solve this problem of “iTunes Store” no longer opening.
During this time of emailing backwards and forwards to iTunes Support nothing they suggested worked. All the links they sent didn’ toffer any help. I was basically just being told to delete iTunes and then reinstall it again.
After this long period of emailing each other every day,they finally told me that I need more detailed Technical Help and gave me a phone number to call their Apple Telephone Technical Help line.
When I explained all of the above, the man I was speaking to said did you delete EVERYTHING connected with iTunes, to which I said that I had deleted iTunes so I assumed that would be it. I was then told that this was the problem, I was not told to also delete Quick Time and Bonjour etc., infact everything else connected with iTunes.
So this is the procedure:
Control Panel/ Delete/Uninstall a Program
Then delete ALL of the following: “Apple ApplicationsSupport”, - “Apple Software Update”, - Bonjour, - “iTunes”, - “Quick Time”.
Finally, go to ‘Start’/’Search’ then type in iTunes and then you will see appear a whole string of at least 10 files all with the word ‘iTunes’ in each file name. DELETE EVERY ITEM. You should have now entirely cleared your computer of everything connected with Apple iTunes.
Now, Reinstall iTunes, which will reinstall everything you have just deleted explained above.
Result? It all workedagain!!

Downloaded desktop service, tried to connect and it asks for password. I havent set one up! please help

i have just installed desktop software and tried to connect my blackberry for the first time. a prompt asked me for a password but i have not set one up. i have tried all usual passwords i would have used if i had already set one up and none of these have worked. now i am on my last attempt and still not connected.
