I have subscribed 4.99 Euro for unlimited US call but still it's diducting from my Balance.
First two days it was working fine but today every us call is chargeble.
Please fix it.

My husband took out an annual sub, and thought he had unlimited mobile calls. he made one mobile call then noticed he only had about $4.00 credit left. plse check the sub and tell us what is wrong. or what he has to do to buy unlimited mobile calls worldwide on an annual sub. his skype name is jameshodgson.ogt350

There is no subscription that covers mobiles worldwide for all countries, please see the list of countries and phone types that are covered worldwide here: http://www.skype.com/intl/en/prices/pay-monthly
Then click the "See Details" for the worldwide subscription to see the phone types covered in each country.
If you call specific countries often and the unlimited world subscription does not cover mobiles in that country, there are "Limited Minutes" that can be used for mobiles in that country, that are cheaper than standard Skype rates as well.
Simply enter the country and a list of call plans will be displayed using the above link as well.

So following on from an earlier thread on this board -
Called BT (3rd time so far today) to discuss renewal prices, bearing in mind I currently pay just under £30 pm for unlimited BB&calls, PAYG BTV and line rental.
I was offered BTI (40GB) with unlimited calls, which now comes fixed with a discount to mobiles at £7 pm, the £5.60 odd price/package isn't available, BTV FREE for 12 months (don't need it, already PAYG!) and line rental for the sum of £38.60 pm (12 month contract) - just over £8 pm worse off.
I asked how much to stay on adsl - everything as is = £36.10pm - over £6pm worse off.
Told the BT rep that the above are available (exc PAYG BTV) for way less than the quoted prices - "but BT are slightly more expensive due to the quality of the service" to which I replied "but I'm looking at the prices on BT's other owned ISP"! - no reply to that!
Why have they done away with the £5.60 ish price?

I want to download mp3 from youtube. I´ve bought alicence for it, to convert mp4 to mp3, registered it and all. But still no acceptance. When I want to download and convert it tells me that I need aregistered versin of the converter. But I bloody well have payed 18.50 euro for that, and registered. So I want it to work

It sounds like a problem with the company that sold you the converter. I would recommend contacting the people you paid and ask your question there. Does this process work on another browser besides Firefox?

Skype credit & unlimited world calling

Hi,
I've subscribed for unlimited world calling free month and it was working great.
However it seems my Skype credit have been charged for the same and my skype credit is null now. When u try to make call using unlimited world call I couldn't make a call as it says you don't have credit balance.
I was in an impression to subscribe for this once my free month gets over, but since it makes me think that Skype credit is charged for the free call I have hesitation to make the subscription.
Could you make me understand the below
1. What's the difference between Skype credit and Skype subscription
2. Say if I subscribe to UWC for $13.99 do I need to buy a Skype credit separately to make calls?

1. Skype credit can be used to place calls to phone numbers reachable by the Skype network.
Skype subscriptions can be used to place phone calls at no cost assuming the number being dialed is covered by the subscription and your usage of the subscription doesn't violate Skype's terms of use or fair usage policy. If you dial a number not covered by the plan or exceed your allotted usage (if minute based), then credit will be consumed. Additionally Skype subscriptions do not cover calls to premium, shared-cost or non geographic numbers. Those will revert to credit if dialed. Be aware that many unlimited plans do NOT include mobiles. Dialing a mobile when you have a landline subscription will consume credit.
2. As long as you make calls covered by the subscription then no credit will be consumed nor is credit required. You can have a subscription with a zero credit balance. If you attempt to make a call that requires credit, you will not be able to place the call. If you are unsure what is covered by your subscription you need to revisit the terms of your subscription or keep your balance at zero credit (Auto-recharged disabled) to not incur additional costs.
This FAQ covers what is covered by that subscription. Pay close attention to the landline and mobile part. You can also refer to the Skype rates page and look at the pay as you go rates. If an area code is listed as premium or shared cost for the country you are calling, it will not be covered by the subscription and it will request credit.

What is my Skype number for freinds to call?

Hi there,
I have bought some skype credits for unlimited calling but the number that shows up when i call someone starts with 000 so when someone tries to call that number back to talk to me it takes them straight to and operator since it starts with 0.
I was curious what my actuall number is so that people can call me back also. I looked into getting a skype number but i can get one in the US but i live in Canada so that is fairly useless.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Trish's instruction works for me on Windows using FireFox. Perhaps a few screen shots may help: On your main account page, click on the Skype Number box.
Then, you should land here (I have redacted my personal details):
Clicking on the <- arrow inside the pale blue circle will take you back to your main account page.

Before trying to isolate an issue, it's always best that one is running the latest Skype release. Which may in itself resolve the issue.
A new version has just been released August 02, 2011:
Please click the "Get Skype" link at the top of this page and download the normal version of Skype, NOT the beta version to get this new version.
This new version is 5.5.0.113 to check what version you have, using the main Skype client window please do:
Help -> About Skype
Then simply choose the "Already have a Skype Name" option and enter your Skype name.
NOTE: You can also backspace over any name in the logon window and enter your Skype name as well.

I don't find this service very useful as documents converted to Word is not really usable when trying to do changes and amendments to the document.
