I have the 8gb ipod touch and it is saying its disable what do i do to fix that

i want to fix my ipod its saying disable and im trying to access in to it to reset it.

Connect the device to the iTunes library the iPod is normally synced with in recovery mode and restore it. See this article for instructions on getting the iPod into recovery mode.

A 3rd gen iPod touch can run up to iOS 5.1.1. If the apps you need require a later version of iOS, you will need a newer iPod touch.
The 4th gen model, which is still available on Apple Store's refurb ("Special Deals") page can run up to iOS 6.1.3. The current 5th gen model can run the current iOS 7.x.

On your syncing cmputer go to iTunesStore>Check for available downloads. They shoud go there if problems dowloading them to yur iPod.

My iPod has music and apps from my apple ID that I downloaded to my iPod via iCloud and some apps that I got free from the store, straight onto my iPod, but my laptop has some music on it aswell, separate from my other library. I want to put the music from my laptop into my iTunes library which I want to use on both computers. Is it possible to do this?

- You can only sync an iPod to one iTunes library/computer. You can however, manually manage music and videos among different libraries.
Go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing>Sync your device manually and follow the instructions.
