I have the Adobe Photoshop & Premier Elements 11 intalled in my Mac computer. My computer is acting up and I will have to buy a new one, can I reintall this program in the new computer?

Assuming you can still start PSE11 & PRE11 use Help> Deactivate on the old machine, so that you still have your two installs available. You'll need to d this in each of PSE & PRE.

Hello,
I just purchased a Mac and Adobe photoshop and premier elements 10 software at best buy. I obtained the redemption code from the internet as the box instructed and created an adobe account and registered each of the serial numbers that were provided on the internet. I inserted the 1st of the five disc set and I can hear the drive reading the disc and the disc shows up in my mac finder, but it will not startup or run any setup program. What am I doing wrong? I just made the switch from HP to Apple, so I am struggling with a new OS and a software that I have never used. Can anyone help?? Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

Thank you for your help in answering my question, Barbara. I noticed when I installed both discs 3 and 5 and finalizing the download, I can see Adobe Photoshop in my Applications folder, but I can't see Adobe Premier. When I open up the Adobe Elements 10 Organizer and try to add a video, it says that I need to insert the free trial version of Adobe Premier. I am confused...

I have the Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Elemnets 10 pkg.

I purchased the 5 disk set of Photoshop Elements10 and Premiere Elements 10. I had the Photoshop 10 trial, so to activate my Photoshop disk set I only had to enter the Serial# and not use the disks.
Question how do I active the Premiere 10 without losing what I have in Photoshop 10 ?

Do you have Premiere Elements installed? If so then enter the serial number you received for Premiere Elements. If it is not installed then install Premiere Elements.

I bought the adobe photoshop/premiere elements 10. I installed from disc 1 for the 32 bit windows.

What do I do with the other 4 discs??

For Windows 32 bit you only need disks 1 and 4. Simply insert disk 4 into your DVD drive to complete the content installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

It sounds like you downloaded the wrong application, namely Adobe Premiere Elements.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13/13.1 running on?
Assuming Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit, open the Elements Organizer 13/13.1 and select your media
for the Contact Sheet.
Go to File Menu/Print and set up the Print Dialog for Contact Sheet.
If you used Edit Menu/Add Caption beforehand, I can see how you can get
Date
Caption
Filename
under the Print dialog's "4" and even a page number if you have more than 1 page. But, I am not seeing
where you are going to get a title for each of the contact sheets.

You can get into the Elements Organizer 13/13.1 from the Welcome Screen or by clicking on the Organizer Tab
at the bottom of the Expert workspace in the Premiere Elements 13/13.1 Editor.

What do you mean by "impossible to use"? I use a magic mouse with PSE all the time. What are you wanting to do that isn't working?

cancel the akamai download and download files 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 directly. put both in the same directory and double click the exe to start installation.

Where can I find the colorbook feature in Adobe Photoshop Premier 10?

I installed Adobe Photoshop Premier 10 yesterday.I have not previously owned or used Photoshop software so I have much to learn. After installation, I began looking into the software features and found an option to apply a colorbook feature to photos. I want to use this feature but I can't find it today. Can anyone help direct me to this option?

Do you need adobe photoshop or elements for the ipod with video?

I am so very frustrated. It took me three days to get quicktime and itunes installed. Finally figured that out. I go to hook up my ipod and it is not working. Ipod has not shown up at all. Instead I get the Windows Hardware finder trying to find the hardware/drivers for it. I have gone thru the 5 r's twice. I have tried different USBS. So this is what I need to know.
Do I have 5th generation. I cannot find it anywhere on the box. I got it for xmas and says that it plays video and slide shows. It says version 1.0 and model MA146LL.
On the box it list requirements. My computer meets the box requirements. But according to the website, 5th generation ipods need adobe photoshop or elements? Is this so? I don't have either would that be why it is not working?

With iOS 5 you do not need a computer. The new iPod comes with iOS 5. However, you have XP so you can install iTunes and sync with the iPod. However, you computer /XPdoes not support the iCloud features.

I doubt the license is affecting the performance - it might be a case of the software being too old for the machine.
In any case, you can contact Adobe support thru chat and have them reset your activation count to eliminatre your doubts regarding the license.

You cannot "update" from what you have to any of the applications you mention. It will have to be a straight purchase or subscription at full price.
Photoshop is a professional level application that makes no apologies for its very long and steep learning curve.
Lightroom is all about volume, and very light editing.
