I have the i-phone 4s – issues wiht Sat Nav 2 application

hi there, i bought i-phone 4s from uk- took to Cyprus where it is now in use- and tried to download satnav 2.
when i open the application, the window opens but then clsoes very quickly and instantly- so it's not working for me. can anyone help?
it was downloaded in cyprus and theat is where it all needs to get fixed.
contacted app service prividers but not going anywhere with them...
software is iOS 5.1.1.

Iphone6plus Why do I have to reboot everyday to access the internet? No I do not have the 128g phone, nor is it loaded with apps.

The problem could be your DSL service. The farther away you get from the central office, the weaker the signal becomes. Because of this, I have linked the table. I had DSL, and hopefully will never go back. About that "constant on", I have 2 systems doing 24/7. One had to be replaced after 7 years. During those 7 years, I had a power surge (thru supressor) that took out the 350W PSU, and a TV tuner card.

It may be that it is stuck loading. You will want to probably first attempt a Hard Reset (Home Button + Power Button for 5-10s until it restarts with an Apple Logo then let it load up) and see if this will get it working.

This is a hardware issue and Apple SHOULD replace the phone even if out of warranty!!!!!!!! This is the second phone that has done this and it is obviously an issue according to everyone else's post. Apple find a solution for the problem before you manufacture another Iphone!!!!!!!

If you have the No Audio Device Issue, I finally found a solution...

MacPro, XP
I tried all the easy solutions with making sure the Windows Audio was working, the Device Manager, etc.
The solution that worked for me was
First, uninstall SP3 on the Windows side (you do this through the control panel, add/remove programs)
Install Boot Camp 2.1 on the windows side.
(FYI, this version of boot camp would not run for me unless you have Leopard on the Mac side. I had OSX 4.11 or something and had to upgrade to Leopard)
If you have the Leopard installation disc, simply input into the drive on the Windows side.
Next reinstall SP3
Worked for me - hope it works for you.

I had same problem not with XP but with Windows 7 beta. I posted online and a lot of people said Realtek this and Realtek that, it didn't work for me. I finally tried installing Bootcamp 2.1 and voila it worked. While it was installing drivers, I noticed bootcamp saying "Removing Realtek audio ... " then "Installing SigmaTel audio ... " few seconds later i started hearing all the bells and whistles of Windows 7. Woohoo!
I guess Realtek works for some people with various configurations but for me it was Siggy.

Brico. The iPhone 4S doesn't seem to have any issues with being charged data when using wi-fi. However, I would like to tell you that when you're using some apps, you may lose wi-fi and then your data package would kick in. I've noticed this from time to time with hotel internet. I've never gone over my limit and I'm on my phone using apps or the net most of the day. Most of the time I have wi-fi access, but there's plenty of time where I don't so just by keeping a rough record in my head, if I was getting cut off of wi-fi or being charged for it, I'd know by now.

No, the cellular version of an iPad will have it's own number associated with it.
You would, however, be able to sign into the same Apple ID account and receive iMessages on both devices for that account. Keep in mind that you would not receive SMS messages sent to that account, only iMessages, so any texts you receive from non-iPhone people or iPhone people with iMessage disabled would only be received on the iPhone.

go to your iPhone to settings>itunes and app store> check the box which reads automatic download apps.
This provides for you to automatically download apps and music should you choose that option.
Click on the area that reads 'use cellular data when automatically downloading'

Make a backup of your stuff (from the phone. apps/photos/music/blabla). Update your phone. The phone will restore the backup automatically.

Does the iPad mini have the same slow charging issues as my "New IPad"?

I'm considering returning my New IPad and purchasing the iPad mini due to the slow charging issues with my New IPad. Does anyone know if the mini has the same issue? Does anyone know if Apple is planning on offering a different charger for the New IPad? I love everything about the New IPad except the charging system. I can't use it as much as I would like to. It's so disappointing!!!!

I also have issues when charging my brand new iPad mini. I got astonished when I tried to charge it yersterday and realized it took more more time to charge than my iPod Touch 4th generation, which really charges very fast! It even did'nt charge completely so when I got home I put mi iPad mini to charge overnight, at about 12.30 AM, when it had about 13% charge left.
This morning I got shocked when I saw at 6 Am that it hadn't charged completely. Just 96%, which means the iPad mini can't be totally charged during a 6 hours charging session. So after reading all these posts I get disappointed with this huge issue for iPad users. How can we endure such a long charging sessions for a device that you normally use all the time. For instance, when you're traveling you always need to charge the iPad very quickly. Just a few travelers would allow their ipads to rule their schedules on such a bizarre way!
I was also worried because I don't live in the States. It was my brother who bought it for me, so taking my device to the Apple Glass Cube in New York or any other retailer or just to have this issue technically solved is a big problem for me! So international customers who think to buy this wonderful mini tablet should consider that such a marvelous device is dealing with an absurd and disappointing big problem related to an aspect customers would hardly imagine.
