I have the iPad 2 and it keeps dying, when it dies it wont turn back on, it shows the apple sign but that is it. THen it shuts off and does the same thing over again, I have tried holding the sleep/awake button along with the home button! HELP!!!

I'm sorry, you are correct I am trying to restore my ipad because it stopped working. We thought the battery was dead so we plugged it into the wall charger. All it does when plugged in is flash the apple logo like it is going to start up and then shut off. It repeats this every few seconds while it is plugged into the wall. I let it charge overnight and still nothing.
When I hold the power button and the home button down together while the ipad is plugged into the wall, it does flash then after I release the power button the connect to itunes screen comes on. But when I connect it to my computer it goes blank. itunes does not recongnize my ipad when I plug it into the computer. I have used the same cord to plug in my other devices and itunes recongnizes them so it isn't the usb cord.
It seems as if my system has crashed and I think this may just be an apple service trip for me. But thanks so much for the advice. =D

My newest Apple TV which I bought on Amazon finally arrived and worked for 2 days. Now all of a suudden it is refusing to load the main page to select movies, radio, netflix etc. All I am getting is a page saying homesharing with only an option to select Computers of Settings. I have reset the Apple TV, restored it but nothing...it keeps going back to this page saying computers and settings. I've tried updating the software as well but after 30 minutes or so it tells me software update was unsuccessful and to go to settingsand choose restore and the loop begins? Is it permanently broken?I had the same issue Berry. What worked for me was going to the General Settings and doing a reset from there. I got all my apps back but had to re-enter all my information for iTunes, Netflix, Hulu etc...

Why are Add-on Buttons along with the Toolbar keep disappearing in the Firefox4,5&9?
I arrange all the Add-on Buttons on a Toolbar created for this specific purpose(Options - Toolbar Layout - Add New Toolbar). I recently upgraded from Firefox 3.6 to Firefox 12 and that's when the trouble started.All the Add-on Buttons along with the Toolbar started disappearing.I checked if any of the add-on (one by one)is causing this problem but found nothing.But the Add-on Buttons work fine when arranged on the Status Bar(now the so called Addon Bar).
Later I found out that this particular problem exists in all the Browsers based on Firefox's latest version(Pale Moon,Cometbird,Wyzo,Epic etc). That means something is causing this toolbar to disappear in the latest versions of Firefox(i.e., Firefox 4,5,10 and Firefox 12). So please help me to rectify this problem.I am impressed by the improvements made in the latest versions of Firefox but due to this problem Firefox has become useless for me.
Don't tell me about "places.sqlite" "localstore.rdf" and all that shit.I've searched the whole God damned Web,Tried changing to new Profile,Deleted localstore.rdf and saw whether it will work.This is my last resort. Firefox 3.6 was a great browser.Within a span of one year you morons have jumped from Firefox v3.6 to Firefox v12! Not allowing the Extension ecosystem to stabilize.Giving no time to apps developers to catchup.The App developers have fallen behind and half of my addons are not working.You people have become an example on how to kill a great product.The guys at MS might be watching in delight the Firefox's harakiri!

Helme.Since I only ever put add-on buttons on the main Navigation toolbar (or the Add-ons bar) rather than my own custom bar, I haven't experienced this myself.
Can you detect a pattern with particular add-ons' buttons (or native Firefox buttons) being removed time and again?
In your new profile test, did you add extensions one at a time (one per restart of Firefox), or otherwise try to isolate particular add-ons as the issue? (Bugzilla has at least one example of an extension causing a problem with custom toolbars: [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=667627 667627 – divx html5 removes added toolbars]. I don't see this particular extension on your list.)
I wonder whether some extensions now include some kind of grooming function or incompatibility that removes their buttons from custom toolbars? It would be easier to investigate with some problem examples. -

Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.

It keeps going back to where I am reactivating it after resoring then it shuts down and does it again when I am finished. I have tried restoring from ITunes and everything else I can think of.

I am having the same problem. I set up a genius bar appointment, went in, and they confirmed that it was an apple hardware problem (battery was not performing properly and far short of the number of charge cycles that could result in that type of problem) and mentioned that they have had many similar problems, but then told me that it would cost $80 to replace the battery.
I've restored my phone to factory settings, turned off bluetooth, background app refresh, location settings, siri, and any other setting that I can find that might speed the battery loss. My battery is still having severe issues. I continue to go back and forth with Apple in an attempt to try to get them to support their own hardware that is not performing to their standards.
In extreme cases the phone turned off 90 minutes after being fully charged and while reading that it was 85% charged still. Would not turn back on until I was able to plug it in. -

I have created an ALV report and has its default pf status which includes all function like sum ,sort, export, variants save etc.
I have a requirement to have an extra push button along with this PF status.
I have created a pf status with this button.. and activated and called in REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY and did everything..
But in my output, only my customised pf status is displayed ie only the push button is displayed and all other standard functions are gone..
Can anyone help me to solve this problem.
Ie I want one push button along with the standrad pf status in ALV report using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY .

Is there a dialing app which places icons on the screen along with the name being called?
Does anyone know of an app which places a limited number of phone numbers along with the name of the person being called on the screen of the iPhone? Our grandfather is 95 years old, and can not operate the small buttons on most cell phones, and has trouble navigating around the phone to make calls. We just want 3 phone numbers displayed, along with who is being called, so he does not have to navigate to anything except the main screen. Thanks.

My iPad's battery keeps dying. When I plug it in and put it back on, the screen shows a drained battery. After a few moments it boots up. However, when I check the battery charge, it's at 52% or so. Can someone tell me what's causing this? And what can I do to fix it?

I have bought itunes songs on an ipad with my daughter apple id. i would like to back them up on the same computer I sync my iphone with using my apple id but they will not transfer. Both iphone and ipad have only been synced on the computer mentioned since they were purchased. Is there any way to get the ipad music transferred to the computer?
And they were definitely purchased from the iTunes store, they show on the account's purchase history (Store > View Account on a computer's iTunes, or you can view the last 90 days purchases via http://reportaproblem.apple.com) ?
You could potentially log into the account on that computer's iTunes (Store > Sign Out to log out of your account, that will then change to a Store > Sign In option) and redownload them by clicking on the id towards the top right of the iTunes screen and Purchased on the popup :
But that will potentially tie that computer to that account for 90 days : Manage your associated devices in iTunes - Apple Support
Or do you have a different computer that you could redownload them on and then copy them over to that computer via a flash drive or memory card, and then add them to its iTunes via File > Add To Library ?
