I have the iPad 2. In forwarding an email this morning, it froze up, can't access the email or anything else for that matter. I turned the iPad off and am now trying to turn it back on, but nothing is happening.

To be honest, that sounds about right.
For example on my 8Mbps (megbits) down service I get around 0.4Mbps upload. That is the equivalent of (very approximately) 3Mb (megabytes) per minute or 180Mb per hour. Over 7 hours that would be just over 1Gb.
Obviously, it all depends on your connection speed, but that is certainly what I would expect, and that is why I use my computer for backing up, not iCloud. So much quicker. -
I have a used ipad mini. I did a reset on it and I am trying to set it back up, but it is still tied to last users iTunes ID and will not let me set it up with mine. Any ideas. I tried setting it back to factory defaults with usb cable, but still no go. How do I activate ipad mini with my iTunes ID.

I have an iPhone 5 which I got around two months ago now, it has been working perfectly but it has now suddenly stopped working. It has randomly turned off and it now will not turn back on. When I last checked it had around 80% battery life left, and I try to charge it now to see if it will have some life back in it, but nothing happens. What do you think I can do? Thank you.

Trying purchase songs from itunes store but nothiing is happening after I click on the "buy" button. I have credit available ($21.59). Do I need to refresh or update somehow? Not sure what's going on never happened before when purchasing from itunes.

My britness on my iphone 5 was on 100 % and I turn my screen off and after 10min i turn it back on and the screen was on 0% while the britness line on settings was on 100% is it an IOS 6 bug or is my iphone broking???
I've seen that happen sometimes. For me, pressing the lock button to lock it, and then pressing the home button to get to the lock screen reverts it back. If that doesn't work, just move your brightness slider lower and then higher again.

I tried to turn on my ipod touch and the best I could get was the apple logo and even that went out. I tried charging it with no luck. It had charge yesterday when I turned it off but now I can't get anything at all. Any suggestions???
If the reset does not work try the remaining items:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The only "don't open files exceeding xxx megabytes" instruction I can find in my Prefs, is in the Bridge Prefs for Thumbnails, & mine is set at 1000mb. The biggest files I handle are bigger than 200mb so I should be able to open a few, not just one.
However, this doesn't explain why I can open a psd format file of 180mb, close it, but then can't open a RAW format file of only 26mb immediately after.
I can open the RAW file only if I restart my computer - very annoying!
However, thanks for the advice about the video card & memory.
So, I'm still stuck as to what the issue is. -
Hi there, ok so my ipad has been either turning off or just locking itself for sometime now but last night it turned itself off and when i tried to turn it back on it just came up with a blank screen with the back light. When i put it on the charger the sound of it charging happenes but nothing else. I hav tried resetting it but as i am not very savvy with all this stuff i thought i would get some advise before doing anything else. it anyone can help me that would be fantasic
thank youIf a reset doesn't work, try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -

Battery does not charge
Verify that the outlet being used is working.
Try another USB power adapter if available.
If no other USB power adapter is available, try connecting to a high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode.
Try another USB cable if available.
iPhone or iPod touch displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive
If you see the image below, charge the iPhone or iPod touch with USB power adapter for at least 15 minutes.
You should see this image when iPhone or iPod touch begins to charge:
If the screen still displays the low-battery icon, try turning the iPhone or iPod touch off and then on again.
If the issue persists, follow these troubleshooting steps.

I was downloading the new IOS and message could not find Iphone appears in Itunes window - Now my my phone is stuck with the power symbol and an arrow pointing to the Itunes symbol, I have tried turning off my phone and turning it back on but nothing seems to work
So when you plug it into your computer, you're not getting a message in iTunes that it has discovered a phone in recovery mode?
Reboot both the computer and the phone and try again. -
I dropped my iPhone 4s and the back cracked and it now will not turn on. I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimated price to fix it. And I do have insurance on it with best buy. I'm on Verizon's phone plan so I don't know if it would be cheaper to have it fixed with Best Buy or Verizon. I cracked my iPod a little bit ago and got a refurbished one for free with the insurance on it but I don't now if it would be different because it is a phone. I don't know really anything about this stuff so any information that could possibly help me is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
That's only for the iPhone 5. On the 4 and 4S, they can repair the back glass in store for $30. They will not replace the display on a 4 or 4S. They must replace the entire phone. Replacing the display on them requires disassembling the entire phone, which they will not do in store.
