I have the ipad air and the iWork apps and iMovie and iPhoto are not free.

I purchased the iPad Air on November 1st and it is advertised that Pages, Numbers, Keynote, iPhoto and iMovie are free. But none of them are free.

Before you can download free apps:
1. Make sure you are using IOS 7.
2. Make sure your iPad is registered in My Support Profile. If not, go ahead and add to your profile.

Please be aware that you are not communicating with Apple when you post in these forums. These are user-to-user support forums, so in almost all cases the only people who will reply to your posts are, like me, your fellow users.
As to your issue, what do you mean by "used his Apple address"? Are you referring to apps linked to his account? If so, then you can't change that. Apps are permanently tied to the account through which they were purchased. If you want those apps tied to your own Apple ID, you'll need delete them from the iPad and get them again through your own iTunes Store account.
If, however, you just mean that his Apple ID is coming up in the iTunes Store, App Store, etc. you can change this in the Settings -> iTunes & App Store area. You can similarly change accounts for email, calendars, etc. in the relevent settings.
If that doesn't address your question, please post back and clarify the situation you are attempting to remedy.

My wife and I have new IPad Airs. I was able to download and use the NY Time Crossword app, but can't get it to download on hers. It shows as "purchased" but does not appear as an icon on her home page, but is on her purchased page. Any ideas?

Can't get NYTimes Crossword app to download onto my wife's IPad Air. It shows as "purchased" but when trying to download with the Cloud icon, it just circles for a while, then stops. The app works fine on my IPad. Any suggestions?

There are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage. There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.
I would just wait it out - I'm sure it will be sorted out soon.

Is it okay to plug in and unplug the iPad Air throughout the day?

I did this with my iPad two and never really had issues but I would like to prolong the life of my new battery as much as possible. Is it okay to plug it to charge it for short bursts at a time throughout the day?

I went to the apple store in my local mall and I purchased 2 iPads and 2 cases with protection plans and I went home and opened up my new iPad Air and the box was empty except for a piece of wood

Yes, as long as you buy a new device from an Apple Authorized reseller (which BestBuy is) then you have the normal Apple one year warranty with it. Apple will honor that warranty in any of their stores, and anyone with any Apple device is welcome in any Apple retail store with questions or seeking help.

What is the pixel or inches dimension to create a perfect sized wallpaper in Photoshop for the iPad air?

I figured out by trying different sizes to make about a perfect sized wallpaper for the iPhone 5, but can't seem to make one for the iPad air. The dementions I used for the iPhone 5 was 1536x 894 pixels or (12.417 inches Wide x 21.333 inches Height) which fits the iphones wallpaper about perfect. Note this is with having reduce motion ON in the settings>accessibility tab. I used photoshop to create these wallpapers. Please let me know if you have figured this out Thanks!

I reduced the size of my photo small enough so when you go to install it you need to put two fingers on it to stretch it out to fit. Far from an exact science but doable.

The air is different dimensions from other iPads, so look for cases made specifically for it. I know that Targus has some, so does Zagg and i'm sure other manufacturers do as well.

Managing Media on the Ipad Air

I know this is a naive question, but it's coming from a position where I'm totally flummoxed by getting video (in particular) onto my PC (win 7) from my Ipad air. This is NOT HELPED by not having a clear and comprehensive location for the easiest answers to these easy questions.
My question is:
What’s the best (and easiest) process to transfer video/ photos from the “Shared” folder on the ipad air, to the PC and where will those photos end up? Also, is there a time delay involved in photos and videos being transferred from the ipad to the PC?

Thanks for your efforts but by threshold to wait and have Google Doc developers answer it is short...... I deleted that app and loaded Documents Free by Savy Soda. It works fine as a document writer allowing for single spacing and many more options......
