I have the iphone 4. The front and back of the phone have damages such as cracks. It's been like this for awhile. I don't have the money to buy another phone right now.. Will apple help me out this one time to just replace my iphone 4?

You can try resetting it to see if that turns it on, but if it does not work, the iPhone is probably damaged from the fall and you should take it to an Apple Store so that they can have a look and determine if it is repairable. An out of warranty replacement will cost you money but much less than if you had to buy a new phone.

Krisit depends on whether or not the contacts are in a contacts program on your computer and where they are on your phone. if they're on your phone in icloud, then no. if they're on your phone from an email account, then no. if they're on your phone in a group called 'from my pc' or 'outlook' or something like that, then yes, by default, they'll most likely come back to your phone from your computer

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Will Apple help me get Panther back?

I recently had to do a complete wipe of my five-year-old dual USB iBook after a leaf count error (no idea what that means, just that the disk utility and fsck couldn't do crud for it). I saved what I could on an external HD and now I'm looking to rebuild my system. The problem: I can't get back to my former OS (10.4). The reason for this is, my 10.4 state of bliss was due to an upgrade DVD that my then-partner used on my computer, running 10.3 at the time. Why did I have 10.3? Well, I sure didn't purchase it! Back in the day, I actually sent my iBook in under AppleCare for the notorious logic board repair/replace a couple years ago and it came back with 10.3 installed, gratis! Very cool...except now I have no disk for it. I DO have the upgrade DVD for Tiger, but that won't work while I'm running Jaguar (10.2).
Will Apple help me out with this if I, say, take it to a Genius bar? I know I just got lucky with the AppleCare upgrade, but I've been running my life around 10.4 for awhile now and 10.2 feels like the stone-age. Is there any way I can convince them to help me restore it back to its former Tiger self?

More or less by accident, Apple has allowed you to use Panther and then Tiger on a trial basis at no charge for some time. Your next step is to buy one of them yourself. You aren't owed another free copy of either.
If the Tiger DVD your ex-partner used on your machine was an upgrade-only disc, it may have been offered at a deep discount to buyers of new Macs who purchased them with Panther installed, but after Tiger had been released. I got a Panther upgrade installer of the same kind on that basis a couple of years ago, when I bought a new Powerbook with Jaguar installed on it after Panther was introduced. The license for the software on that disc allows it to be installed on one and only one Mac.
In any event, you need to pony up for a retail installer of the OS you want. -

I have an iphone 4 . It's had a new front and back screen fitted after a bit of a bang . Now when turned on the apple logo appears on the screen and then goes off. Then appears again etc etc etc .

iPhones are not user servicable and Apple does not sell iPhone parts at all. I'd be surprised if you were actually able to back it up at this point. It sounds like it's completely borked. -

As far as I know you can't delete the primary email address for an iCloud account. It's assigned when the account is created. But your neighbor wouldn't have been able to get into your iCloud account without your Apple ID and password. Are you sure the account wasn't still on your phone when you gave it to him?
You could migrate a copy of your data to a new iCloud account but I would still be concerned that someone else was using my old account, which presumably still has your data in it.
I'm fairly certain that you're going to have to have iCloud support help you sort this one out as they may have the ability to make changes to an existing account that users can't. Make an appointment with the genius bar at a nearby Apple store and have them take a look at it. If necessary, they should be able to contact iCloud support for you. -

i tried to sinc my photos and i ended up deleting off my phone all the pictures. i only ended up with one folder, and i cant figure out how to put rest of folders from my computer back on my phone.....help

I need to know for sure that my contacts are backed up on my computerCreate a parent folder on your computer to store the named folders of photos that you want transferred to your iPhone. Regarding your 2nd question, this should be easy. Your contacts should be available on your computer with or without an iPhone or any cell phone, which can be lost or stolen.
Although contacts are included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process, not a good idea to depend on this either since the iPhone backup includes a significant amount of other data. Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book app on your computer. With Windoze, this can be with Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 along with syncing calendar events and notes, or with the address book app used by Outlook Express with XP and by Windows Mail with Vista and Windows 7 called Windows Contacts for syncing contacts only. -

If you Google "iPhone 3gs parts" you will be able to find vendors that sell front and back panels. So, I would say it is possible to replace the front and back panels. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself unless you are experienced in this type of work.
