Within the warranty period, unless the failure was caused by accidental damage it will be replaced for free.

No. First of all Apple doesn't provide insurance what they provide is a warranty. As soon as you dropped your iPhone the warranty was void.
If you wish you can take it to Apple for a replacement which will be exactly the same color as the one you currently have. You will be charged for the replacement.

sprint shouldnt have locked the sim tray anyways and i think this is just wrong because i payed for the phone and should be able to do what i want with it. they say you can unlock the sim card or the tray i guess if you in good standings with the company an apperantly im not so i was wondering if somthing can be done about this because i see no hole or anything to even open the tray someone HELP ME ! please and thank you
No. Nothing can be done about this. It was made clear quite some time ago what the situation was going to be.
Now... That said, if you have an iPhone 4S, there is a SIM tray on the right hand side of the phone.
If you have an iPhone 4 as you indicate, THERE IS NO SIM TRAY. The iPhone 4 is NOT a world Phone. You can only use that phone on Sprint or roam to their CDMA partners where present. The phone will not work at all throughout most of the world, including Europe. -

How can I get iTunes to refresh its database of the music on my PC?
This is what I want to do:
1.Delete a lot of tracks in various folders on my hard drive
2.Then get iTunes to run through its database and compare to my hard drive and remove any references to tracks it can no longer find.
How do I do this? I can't find a way of getting iTunes to order the tracks by folder location, nor does there seem to be a refresh method.
If you want to know why I want to do this:
I had a bunch of music on my PC when I installed iTunes. So iTunes added all the music it could find to its database but basically without any info, like Artist/Album etc etc.
Now, I don't mind importing my CD's again so that iTunes can organise it properly with all the info and track order info, but how do I get iTunes to forget about the stuff that was originally imported? Bearing in mind that I don't want to forget about everything, and also there doesn't seem to be a way of ordering the music by location. If there was, I could just ordrer it that way and then select the tracks I want to delete.

Generic Windows 2000After a couple of days, I'm noticing that the repeat(ing) offenders have more than 10 episodes, and seem to keep repeating them every time I sync.
They only show once in my phone and in the iTunes Podcasts, but through iTunes and looking at what's in my phone is when I see the repeats.
Even after I've marked a podcast as played, and deleted it from within my phone, as well as telling iTunes to delete the played episodes, it still shows multiples of the played episodes.
There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it either. They aren't the newest ones either. -

I have a iPhone 5 and about a month ago my lock button stopped working. It takes me about ten tries to power it back on or to lock it. If I'm still in my one year warranty will I have to pay to get it fixed? I didn't purchase apple care though so I'm wondering if it's going to cost me to get it fixed or if it's still covered because of the one year warranty? Thank you!
If it's due to a manufacturing defect, the warranty will cover it. If it's due to accidental damage, it'll cost to get it fixed unless it happened during an authorized repair.

I had the same situation with my iPod touch 5th gen. You can manually reboot it thru pressing sleep/wake button and holding it up to 10 secs - no data will be lost.. This didn't work in mine, but to some it did..
If it won't work, you could do what I did which is I reset all settings in the Reset part. It won't lose any data, just the settings (if you have just less settings did to the device, which I had). So just configure or tweak things again in the settings when it reset again.

If you have AppleCare+ you can get an out-of-warranty replacement for $69 or 79...if you have regular AppleCare the replacement will be $149 for an iPhone 4.

I got to that page but clicking on the Subscribe Free had no effect.
Nothing showed in the Podcasts nor the iTunes U.
In fact I also subscribed to Stanford's lectures and despite actually managing to DL them there is still no subscription in iTunes U, just the Intro to Computer Science belatedly.

There are independent iPod repair services that may be able to repair the iPod for less. Do a web search for "ipod repair". Note, though, that if you elect to have the iPod serviced by an unauthorized shop, all further warranty will be void.

Anyone having same issue as mines please help me put. I am having trouble with resetting my ipad mini. I have been having it on reset for 2 hours already and its still on the same spot and not moving anywhere. How long does it usually take to restore settings? And how can i exot put of ot from restoring anymore?
This is how you Reset - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
