I have the latest virsion of firefox, everything is upto date or disabled, and i've scanned my computer. why does it keep crashing?
it just up and randomly crashes and i've checked the firefox troubleshooting section, i've checked the add ons, i've scan both malware and anti virus yet it still keeps crashing and it doesnt matter what site i'm on. i had it crash while i was trying to submit this question
You may need to reset your User agent as it is showing that you have Firefox 3.6.20 installed. Click "More system details" to the right of your original question, scroll all the way to the bottom, you will see:

Please give a bit more system details. Which OS and version are you on? Is it 32 bit or 64 bit. Try downloading the Creative Cloud App if not already installed from: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud. You can choose to install PS from withing this app and need not rely on web page.

Firefox can't read any Bookmark on my Mac that was imported from my PC with file extension .url. Safari reads them all fine. Is there a fix, so I can use Firefox instead of Safari? Many thanks if so. I have the latest version of Firefox

I don't think that extension is supported. I believe Firefox can only read .json and .html.

On the opening page of Firefox, I am constantly reminded (and sometimes warned) that I do not have the latest version of Firefox. Yet, when I click for upgrade, I start getting a download of the same version 8.0.1 which I am already running.
This - http://www.google.com/firefox - is the old Firefox Start Page used by the Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions of Firefox, I don't think it is being maintained.
Starting with the Firefox 4 version, Firefox is using a "local" Start Page with the address of '''about:home'''. It looks similar to the old Start Page, but it isn't exactly the same. -
I would like to get the downloads tab to go back to the way it was, before this most recent update. Now that I have the latest update of Firefox, it moved over to the right. The little hand won't budge it. And the download interface is different, now it is under something called 'library', I liked the old way much better - any way to restore it to that?

Is this the pop-up that you see when finishing a download or do you mean the pop-up you see if you hover a link?
When a download is in progress then you see a download progress bar on the Navigation Toolbar instead of the Download Manager button and that button is highlighted once the download has finished to make you aware the their are new downloads.
You can view the new Download Manager in a tab by opening the about:downloads page and consider to open this page in a separate window. -
I have the latest version of Firefox. How do I clear my personal info and then clear the cache?
I have the latest version of Firefox. It is: Firefox/3.6.13 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729).
I got a page that said I needed to clear my personal information, then clear my cache. It said I could do that in the "tools" menu. The "tools" menu has no such option.

If it were not THIS problem, I'm sure I'd be having another problem because I've had nothing BUT problems since I "updated" my browser, the way my neighbor says you are supposed to.

We have the latest version of firefox. downloaded gamers unit snag bar, but we cannot get it up as a toolbar or on toolbar. It shows under add-ons under the firefox drop down but does not reflect under toolbar bookmarks. how do we resolve?

Hello I have the Latest version of Adobe Lightroom 5 to date (8/26/14) however just recently when I open the develop tab I'm missing two options on the right side column "Lens correction" and "Effects" I do not know I've hit some setting to remove those options or if this latest version deleted those options? Any help would be greatly appreciated and please excuse my ignorance :/
Right click next to one of the other headers and you will get a pop-up to enable the missing ones.

When I try to open google plus I get a message that say my browser no longer supports google plus. I'm then asked to download the latest version of firefox. But I already use firefox 5.o.1. I've download it and installed but the same thing happens again and again. I have no problem using any other google function, and I can open google plus in Internet Explorer. To send photos I need the 'attach files more easily' facility in my Yahoo email. After I recently upgraded my broadband so that I now get 37mb speed, Firefox (and Internet Explorer) started to 'not respond' so I un-installed it then re-installed it. I got the latest version of Firefox and now I can't get the facility back again. Have you got any suggestions? Yahoo have not been able to help.

If you have made changes to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but to use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not being displayed properly. -
The error console suggests that there is a missing semicolon in the code. It's unclear whether this is in the Firefox code or the Java script code, or for that matter whether it's the source of the problem. In any event the only way both times I have been able to get Firefox to work again is to download and reinstall it again. How can I stop this cycle and get Firefox to update correctly? My computer runs Windows 7, 64-bit.
I was almost driven crazy by this problem. My Premiere CS6 displays error 0xc000007b exactly like your situation. I tried every method on the internet but none of them worked.
Including copying the msvcr100.dll to the Premiere folder. Nothing happened.
But this one sounds reasonable, comparing to some guess like video card problem or something.
Since I don't use ilivid or something like this. So I thought maybe there was some file else which my computer lacked.
But I don't know what it is.
Then I got an idea.
Here is what I did:
Copy all the AE CS6 .dll file in "Support Files" folder.
Backup all the .dll files in Premiere CS6 folder.
Paste and replace them all!
Then I found that Premiere Pro was able to start up. But unfortuately, it stopped in half.
Well. Maybe I shouldn't click "replace".
So I went back to the backup folder. Copied the origin .dll files.
Paste and replace again!
That's equal to choose "Not replace" at the first time.
Now everything came back to normal.
I want to get a sleep. -
I have the latest iTunes but when i click on Sync button or Back up why ?
It should have noted that the backup was complete on the backup page. Try rebooting your computer and try it again.

I usually upgrade Firefox within a couple of days when the new version is issued. Nevertheless, I can't seem to get it right. Although when I check "About Firefox" tab in the Help menu it says that my version is 9.0.1 (i.e. the latest version available) - still on the Firefox Update page I always get this annoying msg:

I don't believe that the fact that I'm still using Windows XP should have anything to do with this problem, but fyi - my OS is Win XP SP3, regularly updated and upgraded.
Also, even though I live in Croatia, I prefer my Firefox (and other programs) in English, so I use UK version of Firefox.
I do have some problems updating MS .Net Framework - could this be the issue with Firefox too?
Anyway, I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, even tried installing Croatian version - nothing helped.
As a result of this, I also have a problem with Gmail - I can only use standard, basic HTML view. Also annoying as hell.
Btw, as for "Installed plugins" - I'm not sure which of those are right, but I do not have Netscape installed, and never had one on this computer. I even ran the search for term "Netscape" and it came out empty.
There, I think I've provided as much information as I could think of - so, please help me to sort this out - if you can.
