I have the new Pages. How do I save a document for Windows?

I did the Mac Update and now I have the new Pages. How do I safe to a Windows formate now? There isn't a Save As opion.

You can only sync to one computer but if you've transferred everything than nothing will be lost. Just be sure all content resides on the computer and the phone is backed up

I have the new pages, and every time i try to layer a text boxes, one text box disappears. How do i change that?

Please give the exact version number of Pages, it helps when sorting out problems.
The Textbox doesn't disappear.
The text in the Textbox is pushed away by the Textwrap on the other Textbox/es.
Generally, with the Textbox/es selected:
Toolbar > Format > Arrange > Text Wrap > None

How can I recover from the new Pages

Does anyone know how I can recover a Pages file which has become locked into the new Pages program? I never edited it with the new Pages, but now I'm told I must have the new Pages to open it. I even tried opening it with the new Pages and converting it to PDF with the plan to copy and paste it into Pages '09, but i lost control of line spacing, etc. (It is a 4-column file of data on one page (in the '09 version, that is). Appreciate any help.

Surely you did edit the file with Pages 5.2, or you wouldn't be having this problem. It's an easy mistake to make since both versions have exactly the same filename and extension. They are just stored in different folders. 5.2 is in Applications and 4.3 is in Applications/iWork '09.
Use TimeMachine to locate a clean backup file.

I'd like to continue using 09 Pages, but the new Pages downloaded on my iMac without my request or permission now seems to be in control -- that is even if I do not have the new Pages running, all my previous docs produced with 09 Pages come up in the new pages with a query do I want to convert it to the new pages...which means as long as the new pages is in my applications I will never be able to use the 09 Pages. Catch 22 +. Is the new pages that good, and am I going to lose some features I like by going to this new version which has been forced on me. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I would like to have some say in the matter.

I have a two page letter. I want the first page to have my company letter head, but want the second page to start up at the top of the page without the letter head (just text) how do i do that? I also upgraded to the new Pages. Thank You

I have a two page letter that I am putting together for my company.
I need the logo on the first page, but the next page(s) i do not want the logo and i do not want the indentation.
can someone help me solve this problem. Know it must be a quick fix
I also have the new version of Pages installed as well.

In Word, all you should have to do (with the document open, of course), is choose Insert > Page Numbers… . Choose how you want them to appear and click OK.
Make sure to save the file to retain the page number addition.

The new Pages won't open on an older iMac, though I have loaded Mavericks successfully. It's totally screwed up..how to fix?

Today I hard-rebooted which apparently got Mavericks performing up to par,
Then on top of the new OS platform ...Pages is behaving as it should, so, Problem Solved,

How do I create a newsletter with facing pages that have the margins adjusted for stapling the pages on the left side? ...Like a book.I hate the new pages.

Can anyone recommend a program for newsletters that makes sense. I used AppleWorks and the old page without any problem. Facing pages, two columns, text boxes, photos, mastheads. The new pages *****! I can't adjust spacing between lines as needed, I can't adjust the margins for facing pages. Inspector is not what it used to be. If I use Pages '09 v. 4.3 (1048), I am not allowed to make corrections. My choice is cancel, update, or correct a copy which is no longer '09.

How do I move page order in Thumbnails view in the new pages? (which is driving me nuts btw)

I'm really struggling with the new pages, having used the old version so much I just can't get the hang of this one - so much has changed:( Really wish I hadn't bothered but now have too many documents created in it that I can't open on old version as it doesn't let you (mump mump - well I am scottish).
So in the old version I used thumbnail view to move about the order of the pages (really useful when making up artwork for magazines etc). Anyone know how to do it on the new version?
Also can't seem to view document in '2 up' - 2 pages side by side (also very handy for magazines etc).
Also the tables facility doesn't let you move borders of individual cells - you can only move the whole column - I can't even select them.
I could go on but will go before I start the 'pages shake'.

Scottish or not, your best option is to retreat to the last good version of the app, Pages '09.

You are allowed to have two machines with activated installations, so if you only had one installation, you still have the option to install on a second without doing anything further than that. If you originally downloaded the purchase thru Adobe then you might find a download link available in your Adobe account online. You can also download thru the following page if you can find your version:
